Ronald Weisel, one of two men caught with some $5.6 million worth of drugs in BVI water on December 31, 2008, was denied the chance to change his plea to not guilty by reason of mental illness on Friday morning.
Senior Magistrate, Valerie Stephens explained to the defendant she will not accept his plea until she is satisfied with the findings from a psychiatrist that if he is fit to plea and conduct his own defense.
Weisel, a U.S. citizen residing in the USVI, was charged jointly with his crew member, Hillary Toussaint of Dominica with importation of drugs, possession with intent to supply, and possession of cocaine.
Those criminals don’t care.
Before time it was bread and water and sleeping on concret. But now they are better off than
those that are out. Better living conditions, more food , Tv ,buggery . Life is sweet with them.
