An employee of the Royal Bank of Canada is dead and co-worker critically injured as a result of a three-vehicle smash-up on the Les Pointe road (between Mahaut and Massacre) last night.
Grace Joseph of Kings Hill died at the Princess Margaret Hospital at about 2 this morning, while her co-worker, and an occupant in the same vehicle, Giselle Jno Baptiste, is now a patient in the Intensive Care Unit.
This is the fourth road fatality for 2010. The first occurred on February 5 when Kelvin Toussaint of Good Hope lost his life, after the vehicle he was traveling in veered off the road, and plunged into a valley.
The driver of that vehicle, Johnson Bannis, was on his way to Castle Bruce when the accident occurred. A second passenger, Keron Robin, sustained injuries.
On February 12, 2010 a 17-year-old male involved in a traffic accident at Newtown succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, following an accident on February 6. According to police reports, the young man collided with a bus at about 1 a.m. while riding a motor cycle in the vicinity of All Nation’s Bar.
The third occurred about two weeks ago when motorcyclist Ernest Winston crashed into a wall by Grammar School.
Dominica News Online will bring you an update as soon as the information becomes available.

the evil one is at work. we have stopped praying. we have forgotten God and our country is no longer under his precious blood.
we need to take back our land. we need to seek our maker so He can minister to our hearts and to return the peace we once new in dominica.
My ppl we have to pray yes ,but this world is being ruled right now but the wicked one who is satan,it will not change until our king Jesus returns .We need to pray so that we won”t be caught sleeping when he arrives for the time being lets encourage ,peace love ,joy ,giving and all the things that imitates Jesus. He is the perfect follower one love b
Gracy i will miss you so much..sigh..but God knows best. We will meet again someday.Rest in peace my sister.
AsI sit at home in the UK, I am still trying to get my head around the fact that Grace has gone. I first learnt of er death on Face Book. Many years have passed since I last saw her. I can remember her always smiling, and always trying to make one laugh. I can rmember the times when I would be helping with her school work. Through the collective efforts of everyone close to her and her family, she grew up to be a wonderful young lady. He passing cover my soul with sadness. I am sure that go has a plan for her, and right now, she is in thecompany of angels. I pray ad and ask almighty God to give her mother the strength to carry on. Grace, may your soul rest in peace.
I dont know Grace the deceased but just reading her tragic death, and all those beautiful word people said about her brough me to tears. It is a horrible loss for friends and family and my heart goes out to the grieving.
Be blessed, and remember GOD is always in control, and there is no oops when it come to HIM, because HE makes no mistakes. I am sad for the family and all those who loved her. Hold on to the comforting hands of CHRIST and HE will give you the strength to get through this.
My deepest condolesences to the family and friends of Grace. Dominica doesn’t seem to be the safe paradise that i was once proud to call home, so i am certain she has gone to a much, much better home. She was a past student of mine, and it saddens my heart to hear the constant deaths of these young people. We have the knowledge and common sense to work as a people to make the streets safer for drivers and pedestrians, but as a peopl,e we are too pre-occupied with things that should rank 2rd and 3rd place on our country’s priority list.
Giselle, i have been praying for you and your family. The names of the injured are so close to my heart. It is a crying need for attention and change.
GRACE, may your soul rest in peace and may your family lean on GOD for strength.
MAY THE LORD B WITH U GRACE AS U MAKE UR JOURNEY 2 HIM I WISH GERTRUDE AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY BLESSING AS THEY GO THROUGH DIS DEVASTATING TIME
MAY THE LORD B WIT U ALL
R.I.P family be strong
R.I.P handlebar y’all respect… And we all kno u was d baddest and most memorable on d back wheel… nuff respect to you!
My sympathies to the family of this young lady, Grace. <y well wishes to her friend who was injured.
The call on here traffic signs and speed limits in Dominica is fine but we need to realize that today more young people are driving or should I say we have more drivers these days. The only thing is educating drivers and the rest is up to them. In this organized chaos on the streets you will always find those who do no adhere to rules resulting to death and destruction on the roads.
may your soul rest in peace and may the good lord bless and give you strenght
may your soul rest in peace my dear
Grace darling, you lived a wonderful life down here. Now in the presence of the one who longed to take you in His arms and comfort you from all this world’s ills -that you’ll never experience. Gertrude, Jehovah God is our rear guard. Rest in His ever present help. May you and your family be well in the Lord.
as i read through the comments no one has said what i am thinking of ,,…….. u mean someone had to be driving so reckless to bounce these people to even put them to death that person’s license should be taken away . Grace was not my friend but she would never pass by withoud giving a nud. she is the person to be alwayss smiling . she was a livig example . ppl u see how fast we can come and go dust to dust. n nowadays ppl want to be cutting flash n saying who has more jewelry n who has hummer and who has more airmax ad who has more skinny jeans and who has more land shoes and bags and who always go to shop by dons n divas or by jewelers international . my broda them tings not work it . the poor man on the street without no shoes on his feet is as equal to you n me . i mean yes we dress we look nice n pretty but some of us actually steps on ppl like as if after them there is no more . and is not only when things go bad we have to call on the most high u overstand. most of the people u see in church on asunday dont cross their path cuz they gonna tell u the color of ur underwear they dont even stop to think of god before they talk they will let u have it right down ur throat.
grace i saw ur mom spoke via tv and she too has found ultimate strenght in the creator she is giving all to god she is strong . grace give her the strength to go through on the day of ur burial, hold her grace , give her the courage to stand b and watch you go closer to god , grace all in all i believe that your guardian angel will see ur mom through. bye grace ur memories will leave on. i hail u up as a true dominican queen .
SO SAD
my heartfelt sympathie goes out to the family and friends of Grace’s family
may her soul rest in peace. prays are with the family. just sad …..
CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF MISS JOSEPH.
SHE WILL BE MISSED.
Moz, Ricky, Dean, be there for all u boy Freddy, RIP Grace…………………..
My condolences to the family of this young lady and my prayers to the others injured. I think that the law makers could learn a great deal from some of the remarks made on this site. Some persons expressed concerns about the speeders and this is indeed a problem. I believe the speed signs should be erected throughout the country and the police should be issued speed guns to monitor and ticket and prosecute speeders. You may say that this is just Dominica and not America, but a life is a life and every life is important and the Police are here to protect and serve.
well that’s life yea…… you born, you live, and you die.. evn if you die very young.
Drivers here in Dominica these accidents can be avoided and should be. drivers don’t have to drive so fast and over take where they can,t see on coming traffic. under the canefield cliff is a prime example. The innocent one are the ones who suffer .It is time seat belts law is inforced and speed restriction
SORRY for you lost hope Giselle fulls through
Sometimes we argue over nothing, we gossip, we do many things that are not pleasing to God and we never think of the”What IF’S” of life. Sometimes we wait until someone is gone to give them their flowers. People this life which we have needs to be cherished. We never know when we will be called. We need to live our lives with one thing in mind……The hope of seeing the Lord one day. Live life to the fullest keeping in mind our Saviour. Encourage others, help whenever and wherever we can, volunteer to do things at your Church, in your community, Give compliments in stead of insults. This life is too short to hold anyone on your heart. Forgive and Live.
Tears can not bring you back Grace, but you will be missed. Becasue of this tragedy I will be reaching out to those I love. I will let them know everyday how much I love them because I do not know how long they are with me, or I am with them.
The family of Giselle. Trust in the Lord. Just ask Him to have His way, and no matter the outcome know that God is good and He is in control.
R.I.P
I remember Grace from my days @ the Wesley high school, she was always a vibrant young lady, May her soul rest in peace. To her Mother to be strong, heard you on the radio this morning, God is with you .
sorry for the lost .may your soul rest in peace.
hmmmmmmm………
To all our family members, especially Gertrude, Gillie, all her brothers and sisters and other relatives in Dominica, we are all saddened at the passing away of Grace. Our consolation is that God will be glorified in this. May many people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, realizing that one can leave this life any time. The Bible said, “It is appointed unto man, woman, boy or girl once to die and after this the judgement.” Thank God, Grace accepted the Lord before she died — otherwise, it would be too late for her now. All of us who know the Lord will see her again! Praise God! Any one who has not accepted the Lord as his or her personal Savior, please accept Him before it is too late.
Y DO THE GOOD DIE? (REST IN PEACE GRACE). OUR FATHER HAS CALLED U HOME. u were a true friend who brought joy n laughter 2 all those u met, generous ,kind , fun 2 talk 2 n a strong believer in the most high father.a true example of a good christian; which u were, n we thank GOD that we knew u. u were an inspiration 2 us …all……….. hmmm, funny…… rain havent fall in months
but all of a sudden its rainin- they say it rains wen a good person dies. this is proof.
Really bad news for DA again. My prayers and sympathies go out to the family of Grace and Giselle. When I hear of those sad events I wonder why are some people always trying to cause some controversy like causing an uproar as to whose name should go on stands at the Windsor Park. We need to look beyond those earthly achievements and activities and start to show love to our fellowman and to put Christ first in our lives. Families, keep strong and have faith.
Absent in the Body Present with the lOrd like she was named Grace may Gods Grace continue to guide and protect her family in this time of bereavement. To gisselle i say be strong you will make it trust in the Lord to the family i say God is always there keep on trusting in Him. keep the faith dont lose hope.
On behalf of Youth on a Mission for God, i want to extend sympathy to Grace family and the pastor and the members of the Trinity Baptiste Church. Grace was supposed to be a part of of our fundraising concert on Friday. We will dedicate part of the programme to her and the young people of whose lives she greatly impacted. Grace will touch many more lives even in her death. This is a wake up call to our young people that life is very uncertain and one never knows when or who is next. We can all know for sure whether or not our lives extend beyond this mortal shell by being a part of God’s family. Our heart goes out to all. Death allows us some time to take stock of our life. As i read through the comments, i was challenged to take stock of my very own life and i thought, if i died now, would i receive all these wonderful comments. It propelled me to be a much better person. i trust that we will be challenged to live our life in a way that is pleasing to God and at the time of our departure we won’t “LEAVE BEHIND AN UNFINISHED TASK.”
Ellenpaul ……..my thoughts exactly, am taking stock of my life because I know if I were to die now those beautiful comments would not be said about me and I am a born again christian for more than 15 years. Through Grace’s death am praying more frequently. God bless Grace.
railings plz ,plz ,plz
may ur soul rest in peace grace
As a former employee of the Royal Bank of Canada, my deepest condolences to Grace’s family and her co-workers at the Royal Bank. Both pedestrians and motorists need to adhere to traffic signs and traffic laws including speed limits, stop signs, not walking against incoming traffic, slowing down in time, pedestrians have the right of way, not drinking and driving, not driving under the influence, not sleeping behind the wheel, and so forth.
My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Grace Joseph. Let us all remember them in our prayers. Please practice caution when driving… our roads are not the best. We need to be careful… it’s better to be half an hour late than dead early.
I pray that Giselle Jno. Baptiste recovers speedily.
GIZZY…WAKE UP PLZ…TONY AND THE BOYS NEED YOU! R.I.P..GRACE
GRACE, GRACE, GOD’S GRACE. GRACE THAT IS GREATER THAN ALL OUR SINS. It was no coincidence that she was named Grace. Just as God’s grace is greater than all our sins, let us allow GRACE’S strength and faith in God to transform our lives. Grace has led by example even at the point of death she gave strength to many.
Young and old, now is the appointed time. Seek the Lord as Grace did, while HE may be found.
Tony, this is a wake up call. Giselle is going to make it, because my God is good.!
we really miss grace allot but we will meet u up when we get to HEAVEN!!!! . We want to send our love and prayers to the family and friends of your beloved Grace. Our prayers are with u always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This death is so different compared to many others over the past year or so because this young lady knew the Lord. This makes all the difference in the World….Nothing else will stand at the end of the day unless a person has come to know his Maker in a personal way and Grace had made it right..Her death speaks volumes that only when we know Christ we can truly REST IN PEACE otherwise in Hell there is no peace if one has never known God…To God be the glory for the blessed hope we have in Christ where to die is gain and we are passed from death unto life…There is noting to loose but all to gain to be in Christ especially from a young age. My sympathies to the bereaved..The God of all comfort will certainly comfort you guys…
Please Please Please Government of Dominica Put some speed limits signs on the roads. The Dominician Drivers drive too too fast. If something is not done now. We will have lots for deaths for the Year.
sad moment, just keep praying and hold strong family and friends of Grace.Drivers take it eazy on the road.
rest in peace grace, you were a dancing angel here on earth and no doubt you will be up there. Yesterday i cried out to God why you, why you, you had the world at your taking and you were just begining to take……but I remember in situations like this you would say dont question God, he knows whats best….. so I asked him for forgiveness and I have also recommitted myself to him… that which you could not do whilst you were alive, you have achieved with your death. I love you, I really appreciated being part of your life from roseau primary to our recent times working out together.
The special glow you had last week , and that very special smile on Thursday will be with me until..
To ma alice, getrude, fredocs and the rest of the family… God takes his own when he is ready and not when we want.
To giselle I will pray for you, to the day when you will dance and praise God.
God is not ready for you my dear, you got to get more souls for him before he calls you home.
I am claustrophobic and am also terrorized of the thought of a seat belt trapping me in the vehicle in case of an accident, especially if it is in one of our many precipes…..so i dont wear them…..although today thinking of gracie i did… death is inevitable….whenever it happens thats our time
God knows best
To Grace family i feel your pain, i’ve know Grace for a very long time….. went to church together, eat and had lots of fun together…… she was also a member of the dance group i formed at trinity church, shakah dancers…… i know she will be missed…. but God saw it fit to take her home….. we have no reason to question God and ask why did this happen… what we need to do is live a life that is pleasing to God because wen never know when its going to be our time to go…. death is uncertain., i know Grace knew Jesus as her lord and saviro so she is in a better place….
rest my sister, rest in the arms of our lord and savior Jesus christ…
My condolences to the young ladys family .May she rest in peace.Giselle you have to fight, tony hold strong .God will see you guys through this because you all are good people.
All The Praise Glory And Honour We Give To God Our Heavenly Father now let me say thanks for all your support,, condolences, thoughts, and prayers we really appreciate it, may the God of aii peace bless you al and give you the peace , comfort and strength as He has given to us who have that blessed hope that those who die in Christ will live with Him forever in eternity. We are praying that Giselle makes it through .The Lord has given and the Lord has taken Blessed be the Name Of The Lord.. He is STill GOD. He is not able to make mistakes and He never gives us more than we can bear. He is STILL in control , and I love Him GRACE MOTHER GERTRUDE WEBB
May my cousin Grace Joseph rest in peace..God knows how bad she is being missed right now. Wish i could’ve gathered the strength to come to ur funeral..i was deeply overwhelmed.. to my aunty, hold strong..you know we love u and we will be there to support u even when u dont feel the need to go on.
missing u dearly grace..u know u were gone too soon
Lord jah if yu see our Govt does not see that importance to have a trauma emergency center fass fass, we will all die upon entering Princess margeret. why in 2010 we cannot have a trauma center to have stopped her bleeding, instant attention, furthur unessasary cause of death is really not being understood by our Govt to have atrauma center with fully manned staff on site non stop 24 hours shift. Please someone talk to our Govt to have our hospital rady to handle such emergencies, for I understand she very likely need not have perished so.
what a shame. what another disaster. what a terrible senseless vicious tragedy again, so soon after losing our loved Neil only last christmas, the very same way car accident all over again.. we did not get any closure to this as the driver ran away , but i pray the family of Grace will get closure to the Retarded Moron who drove like he alone was on that narrow piece of stretch. overtaking, slams into Grace dem, katapaults her car across the road, right into the path of the 3rd oncoming vehicle, hitting dem dead angle shot. poor grace at least she stayed with us a few more hours about 2 more I gathered. Grace I never knew you perhaps, but it is like a return bout all over again,. the pain is there again for such a young life to be snuffed out like this.
I pray the pickup that sideswiped them acropss the road will get his day before magistrate tiyani and all the way to high court. he must never drive again, but this is Dominica, for all of us, the land of OZ. blessings and peace to the families of this senseless tragedy. But trust me nothing will come out of this again and again. nothing will. dangerous drivcing causing death by wreckless is twenty years an no more license for life , but as usual… nothing.
to the family of Giselle, prayers are making ding dong for you maa’m.
dear grace i might see you when i die. your name is grace and you are gods grace.
R.I.P…i can see you dancing to the Lord’s music in heaven….

To everyone who paused to share a comforting word we embrace you.
Thank you for giving us comfort in a time of painful and reflective thinking. Grace is with the Lord. and she forces us to look within ourselves to make things right. Let not her death go in vain: each of you embrace your family, and reach out to those who have hurt you, forgive those family members who are impossible to please, and love the loveless. Make peace with God and your family.
We thank you all.
Hartley , Judith, & Jewel

Reading through all of these comments I see the wonderful legacy this young lady has left behind. May this legacy stir many a young people to know the God that she served in a personal and intimate way. She wil rise again. I pray that the God of all comfort will comfort her family, friends, co-workers and the congregation where she worshipped during this time of loss and bereavement. May God grant you peace as you stay your mind on Him. To the family of Mrs Jno Baptiste I join my faith with your family, friends and well wishers and pray that the Lord will carry Giselle safely through this ordeal.
Sad, real sad.
Another example of what our people are becoming–selfish and careless, destroying our most productive with their foolishness. It could have been anyone of us..Grace was the sacrifice this time…Will there be another.
Lets stay close to Yahweh and pray. If you do not know him, now’s the time. Dominica is on a scary road because people are rapidly becoming materialists. We cannot change it, we can only change ourselves.
Yahweh will have mercy on whom he will have mercy. May he have mercy on us all in Yahshua’s (his son) name.
I use to once say to ppl when they lost a loved one dont cry its gonna be ok but i was wrong.I lost some1 close to me some months ago so i know the grief and pain.To the family of Grace my condolences goes out to you.Stay strong this is what she would have wanted.Always smiling had her priorities straight.God came and stretched out his hand and said Grace my child it is time to go.Hold strong the family of Grace she is in heaven smiling down.

I was shocked when I learned of Gracie’ s passing, thats how I called her. She was a former student, she was a neighbour and sister in the Lord. She was a young woman with such a sweet spirit. To her mother , Grandmother, and other family members, I extend my heartfelt sympathies. Grace has passed on from one life to the next. She is at peace. She has seen her Lord. To the families of the injured, may God strenghten them in their time of trouble.
Kandel called to tell me this sad news this morning and I still can’t believe it. Just last weekend we were all in St Lucia having a wonderful time. It was really nice meeting both Grace and Giselle and we here in Barbados are still shocked.
Condolences to Grace’s family and friends and our prayers remain with you as well as with Giselle’s in hope that she will remain strong and pull through…….
RBC Barbados will continue to lift our colleagues at RBC Dominica in prayer also…….
alas.
It’s very sad when we learn of such untimely death. i taught Grace in Vacation Bible School and she always exhibited the qualities of a virtuous woman. i still see her smile. May her death serve as a constant reminder of the uncertainity of life and that we are not promised one more day. Heaven has welcomed an angel home
Very sad news indeed. God is love and God is merciful. Another journey another mile. God does not give us more than we can bear. Heartfelt condolences to the family of Grace and speedy recovery to Gizelle
My heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Grace. This is so tragic and sad.Thank God she knew Christ as her Lord and Saviour……she is safely in the hands of her Saviour.Be encourage, there is life after death and hers is with the LORD…..RIP DEAREST CHILD OF GOD.I wish a speedy recovery to the other young lady

I thought I was dreaming.
To my dear friend Gertrude and the rest of the family be strong,
I know the Lord is with you all always, his loving arms is wrap around
you all.
God is Love.
i would like to sympathise with the family of both victims. I have been hearing that Dominica has no law and it has been proving itself over and over.Them man just there getting beer bellies, and look so unfit, and doing certain things that is against the law,and the thing is they know people ,know but one day all their corruption will come to an end ,and some thing real draastic may have to happen for us to see results, people need to start going to jail and be sued for these type of things, you did not give any one life who are you to take it.Police men stop slouching around and start doing your job get off your lazy butts.
I heard that there were no doctors in the emergency theater when they were taken to the hospital. Has anyone heard the same? If that is true, it is very sad indeed.
My sympathies to the family.
I heard that also. The family need to sue. I’m a medical professional, and based on her injuries, I think that she could have survived… (Only if the surgeon and other professionals were present) What a shame :-(
May the good Lord look over Gisselle and i wish her speedy recovery. Tony hold strong, please keep praying. My sympathys goes out to the family of Grace, may she RIP. Please Dominicans pray for Gisselle.
My deepest sympathy to Ms Joseph family and friends, i guess God needed another angel. May her soul rest in peace and to Mrs Jo Baptiste, all the best and a speedy recovery.God is in control.
Its so hard to hear this… you were so young yet your tyme was up and god has called you home… may your soul rest in peace… to the other drivers be carefull because you never knw when your tyme is coming….
I am still in shock hearing the death of Ms. Joseph. We worked for some time at E. Nassief & Co. and this pleasant, smiley young lady had so many plans, and with God on her side, she was moving forward, achieving some of her goals. Nobody knew the man above had better plans for her above. My heart goes out to the mother and the rest of the family. May the Havenly Father guide, console and comfort you all. GRACIE R.I.P. Let us continue praying for Gizelle that she makes it through.
Deepest sympathies to Grace’s family, friends, co-workers and well-wishers. Giselle, my prayers are with you and your family. Never would someone come into the bank without seeing you busy on your feet and more eager to help them out. The Lord knows best. He will keep you.

Jeannette Elwin take courage, I know Giselle means a lot to you, she will pull it through just keep on praying. Just be a comfort and strength to the husband and sons.
Tony draw your strength from the Lord, I kow you need it now until your wife pulls through. I saw you at the hospital today lookinjg real composed surronded by family and friends, thats the way to go. I said a pray last night when I heard the siren of the ambulance not knowing who or what had happened. Whenever I hear a siren I always remember Sis Mona from Deliveranc Baptiste church saying, just pray when u hear it before trying to find out what happen. So sad to find out the persons involve. And to Jeannette Elwin hold strong because I know Giselle means a lot to you Take courage everyone.

Gertrude take courage, you know where she is right now has no pain or suffering. I know you can be rest assured she is in her Maker’s arm. And to the congregration of Trinity Baptiste Church, I have an idea of what you are feeling right now. I know tomorow church service is going to be so sad. To Royal Bank of Canada staff take comfort knowing that she was a believer of God. We who are still alive should take stock of our life and make it right with God before it is too late.

To die is gain for a christian says the bible. She is in Abraham’s bosom.

Sad, drivers take it easy on the road. Wear your set belts, don’t speed, be kind to other drivers.
I pray that the grace of GOD will see the family through. So unfortunate that such as gem had to go that way. Grace was strong and pleasant even at the point of death. I hope Giselle makes it to know how concerned Grace was about her. Grace talked to the fire officials, and somehow I am consoled, because she must have spoken to God. My prayers are with Giselle and Mr. Williams, their families and the family of Grace as well as the staff of RBC. Cleo hold on strong and just pray.
God’s grace can do amazingly, abundantly great things. Death is always sad, but this situation could be worse. The Bible admonishes us in everything to give thanks. Some may not understand. But by God’s grace, there must be some legacy that GRACE has left behind that many of us can be thankful for.
As it regards the law, the Minister of Health and the Minister responsible for National Security must now enforce the laws relating to the use of Helmets and Seat Belts. The outcome might have been different if seat belts were worn. You never know. Loosing our most productive sector is not a good level to move to. ENFORCE THOSE LAWS.
Hold on Giselle God is never late!
sweet Grace.. RIP darling. Only last week we met in St. Lucia and we had a wonderful time. I can’t help feeling anger that you are gone so early. My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family of such a wonderful young lady. I’m happy that we got the chance to meet and you made an impression on me,
Giselle. my girl, please pull through. I’m sending all my love and prayers.
RBC Dominica, RBC St. Lucia is praying for you

To all drivers in dominica, we don’t have the best roads please exercise care when driving; so many people have been affected by this one careless act.
May her soul rest in peace, she was one of my good Mathematics students at the Wesley High School when I taught there.

RIP grace you’l be missed dearly
I still ask myself why does the good depart and the bad stays, don’t know!
my heart goes out to the family of this young lady… only god will see you through
This is so sad, my condolences to the families. But Dominicans have to drive more responsible. The roads are too small for so much speed. We have to be more considerate as drivers. What is the rush…
RIP GRACE..AN GISELLE HOLD ON I PRAYING SO MUCH DAT U MAKE THROUGH THIS
Awwww Grace. Aaahhh…………………………alas. But why good people have to die like that nuh? Ahhhh. Anyways Grace we’ll miss you, and um, I just want to extend condolences to Family and Friends of Grace and also the Staff of The Royal bank. Hold tight and b of good cheer! The Bible Promises a Resurrection.

I do not know Grace but My prayers go out to her loved ones.I know it is not easy to deal with but do not questions Gods work. He controlls life….and death.
Giselle was a sweet young lady who was always so pleasant and recently comforted and encouraged me during some difficult times that my family was going through.I will continue to pray for you and your family, just keep positive and have faith .
So sad and sorry. Can’t believe it yet. I saw Grace did a wonderful dance at her sister’s wedding last December, it was so perfectly done….. such TALENT…. One thing I want to believe is that Grace is dancing in Heaven. Hope Giselle pulls through. To the family – Be Stong and alway believe that God doeth ALL things well – for His honour and glory (which we can never humanly understand). Gillene and Erwin I know you are hurting too, but BE STRONG.
I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ONCE AGAIN ABOUT ANOTHER ACCIDENT IN DOMINICA: ITS A SAD MOMENT FOR ALL OF US MY CONDOLENCES R.I.P FOR YOU WILL BE MISSED
May the peace of God that passes all understanding, rest upon the family and friends of all involve. I pray that God will be glorified in this situation and that people will understand that we need to live life to the fullest but most importantly, remembering that we need to live life to reflect Christ for we never know when we will be taken away from this wicked world. God never gives more than we can bare so no matter how much pain the family and friends may be going through at this moment, I pray that they be comforted in the word of God and trust him cause he promise never to live nor forsake us and he is our ever present help at all times.
I would like to extend heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Grace for their tragic loss. Grace was a beloved former employee and has continued to be a gracious friend and patron. Her joyous smile and beautiful personality will be greatly missed. May God grant her peace and bless her family with the courage and strength to cope with their loss.
oh my God, am typing this comment here and i am trembling…. i heard the news this morning and i was like Grace from kingshill? that name sounds familiar but i checking it cyah be the grace i know cause i wasnt aware that she was working RBC, wen i can on DNO and seeing that picture am like JESUS!!!!! grace my grace we….i’m just sadden by this. cant seem to get u off my mind. i remember the days seeing u backing up in church, coreographing, we camped together for years, all these memories just keep bouncing bac…. to her family i say accept my deepest condolences, RIP Grace, am sure heaven is rejoicing cause another angel has entered. u will surely be missed. May God continue to comfort her family and friends, and the members of trinity baptiste church… :'( :'(… *tears*
Pray without ceasing for Giselle
Its so Sad to see lots of our Young people die this way,so tragically. Its even more sad when u go to DNO to see its someone u know…………May God console her family and may her soul rest in perfect peace…..!
thank you d.n.o. for keeping dominicans abroad informed of whats harpenining in our nature isle as soon as they harpen .my deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased .every time somebody young dies i always feel that its just another very beautiful flower for the masters bouquet.R.I.P
This is so sad. Tougher laws need to be implemented and better road safety measures. The youths are just dying at an alarming rate due to road fatalities. Dominica needs tougher seat belt laws, and wearing of helmets.
So sad, so sad, s very very sad. My heart goes out to Grace’s family and her Fiance, Alfred John. May God give them strength in their sorrow.
Grace …. so quiet, such a lady. Sad, sad.
Traffic laws, police patrol … seriously lacking. Drivers need to be stopped before these things happen.
No laws and a fine of $1000 and a one-year suspended license as a consequence will not stop the madness!
R.I.P ……. jsut hope the family will get comfort through the lord above
DEATH be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not so,
For, those, whom thou think’st, thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poor death, nor yet canst thou kill me (her).
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure, then from thee, much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and souls deliverie.
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppie, or charmes can make us sleep as well,
And better then thy stroke; why swell’st thou then;
One short sleep past, we wake eternally,
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die
DEATH BE NOT PROUD
by John Donne
Grace and her friendly smile, her lyrical laughter and warm hug, constant words of encouragement…you will be sorely missed but those of us who are like you do hope in God that death has no sting and nothing will separate us from the love of God….your hope and our hope is in God…we know that this is not the end. To her parents and sisters and brothers please accept our heart felt sympathies.
R.-p
my deepest sympathy to the family may you be comforted that grace is safely in the arms of her maker. She is gone but not forgotten in your time of grief cling to the comforting grace of God.
REST IN PEACE GRACE. May God continue to bless the family
Seat Belt Safety should be Enforced with immediate Effect! Seat belts are important and can save lives. Dominicans we travel and we know in other countries YOU MUST BUCKLE Up IT IS THE LAW! Why then can’t we adopt those same policies, to help save lives in our country. It is not about driving the fancy car, vehicles can be weapons if not used properly. I urge the authorities to begin a Seat belt wearing campaign. I see too many people even children up front in vehicles not buckled up.
This is a recipe for disaster. In fact I am surprised we do not have more road fatalities. God’s Mercies I believe. TIME to go international. Buckle UP Dominca, make it LAW!
Sit belts and you still die….I more think of sit belt as a hendrance a specially when it comes to Accidents you can get trapped. Sit Belts is for you not to fly forward…You still fly forwad!..And to make things worst you get worst of internal injuries. That’s what I think
Who ever you are thanks for hitting the nail on the head, On my last trip to Dominica while coming from teh airport i fastened my seatbelt and my dad laughed! he was like” Boy wat u doing?”
The traffic officials and government needs to enforce Seatbelt laws IMMEDIATELY. It mite not save everyone everytime, but it will at lease save someone.
The roads are already horrible the lease they can do is advice and ensure people where seatbelts by force or by will.
I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the late Miss Joseph. And may her friend recover from her injuries
The law is already there. Since 1993.
As far as I understood, the young lady was wearing her seatbelt.
The law is on the books but its not being enforced. I would like it to be a criminal offence to have young children sitting on their parents laps in the front seats of vehicles both public {passenger}
So sad…
I can’t believe this, another shocker. I Am a Client of RBC, and Grace and I was joking around as she attended to Me this past week. She was always Pleasant with that Gorgeous Smile of Hers, and Very Respectful, and Customer Friendly. She was the Kind of Staff, all Business Places should have. I Am so Heart-Broken and shocked to know that Grace has left Us. I don’t even know what to say.
This is so horrible. To the Family and Friends of Miss Grace Joseph, Hold Strong in the Lord, for He is Our Refuge, and Strength. My Condolences to You the Family, and Friends of Miss Grace Joseph. We all as Dominicans has lost a true Island treasure. May Her Soul R.I.P.
Sad to see such young talent gone but God is in control and has his plan for each of us on earth. R.I.P Grace

RIP Grace. get well soon Mrs Jno Baptiste
my heart goes out to her family & friends….
R.I.P GRACE you will be missssed it so sad how we see you today an dont see you tmoro will never forget your presence was once on earth
there were a few more people involved in this accident. why is it still not compulsory for dominicans to wear their seat belts? especially when over 90% of our cars have no airbags! this happened outside my sisters and she claim to have seen bodies all over both vehicles which would not have happened if they wore their belts.
we need to think of our safety when travelling, especially on dominica roads. its not just about how you drive, but also about how everyone else on that road is driving.
here is not the place to talk about seat belt safety….if you have a complaint write a letter to the necessary authority but to make a comment on this article about seat belt safety is just being insensitive…..”There is a time and place for everything”
stupes
I agree
condolences to the family of Miss Grace.
