First Domestic Insurance Company Limited brought the Christmas cheer

The First Domestic Insurance Company Limited last week brought Christmas cheer to a number of institutions engaged in providing care to nationals.

As part of FDIC’s corporate responsibility, the company’s representatives on Wednesday, December 22, visited the Northern District Home for The Aged where a food hamper among others items were presented to the directors, staff and residents. FDIC has been supporting the Northern District Home for the Aged for over eight years.  We hold our elderly in high esteem as a great manifestation of our love.

On Tuesday, Dec. 21, a multipurpose printer/scanner/copier was presented to the X-Ray Department of the Princess Margaret Hospital. This essential tool will help in the timely submission of reports critical for administering health care.

On Tuesday also, a cash contribution was made to the Bright Beginning Center towards the construction of an additional washroom facility.  This timely donation will assist the school in meeting the requirements of the Early Childhood Centre of the Ministry of Education for the operation of an early childhood facility. The school has a student population of over 50 and we are delighted to be able to contribute to the comfort of these little ones.

First Domestic is Dominica’s first and only general insurance company; buy local and invest in your own development!

We feel privilege to give back to our citizens in such noble ways.
