Dominica urged to join anti-sodomy campaign

Stephen Green of Christian Voice has launched an anti sodomy campaign across Africa and the Caribbean

A campaign has been launched to protect Africa and the Caribbean from a gay rights onslaught announced by the UK’s Prime Minister.

David Cameron‘s comments were made on 22nd June 2011 as he hosted his second Downing Street reception for homosexual activists, including one man known for staging pornographic events.

The Prime Minister said that ‘a spin-off benefit’ of giving foreign aid is that it allows the UK Government ‘to have a say in what happens’ in the world’s poorest countries. He said: ‘We have got the ability to speak to African leaders, African governments, about this issue (illegality of homosexual acts) that I know concerns everyone here tonight. And it concerns me.’

Homosexual acts, including sodomy, are against the law across the Caribbean including Dominica, which is an area of the world where British foreign aid is particularly targeted.

But a UK Christian prayer and action group has now launched a campaign to increase awareness of what it describes as the UK’s neo-colonialist intentions ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Australia at the end of October.

Christian Voice has emailed thousands of Members of Parliament, Prime Ministers, Presidents and permanent officials across Africa and the Caribbean alerting them to the UK’s cultural imperialism and asking them to do four things:

(A)   Read the STORY on the Christian Voice website,

(B)   Watch the VIDEO recorded in Kenya in July (and click ‘like’),

(C)   Sign an online PETITION to ‘Save Africa,’

(D)   Promote and attend a meeting in London in early September.

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, said today, ‘David Cameron needs to realise that the white man is not the fount of all wisdom.  At a time when the UK is recovering from riots blamed on poor parenting and a lack of morality, he needs to learn from African culture with its strong emphasis on Christian morality and the family.”

He added, “The time when Western Governments could boss poorer nations around is over and it cannot be re-introduced as cultural imperialism. It is very humbling that so many people have now seen our video and signed our petition realising the importance of this issue in defending Christian virtue. The European Union are also funding gay rights groups in Cameroon now, and American NGO’s are bank-rolling any number of pro-gay and pro-abortion groups across Africa, so this matter is serious. Sex tourism is already a problem in African and Caribbean nations and I call upon their leaders to come together to oppose this new tide of immorality sweeping in.  A duty is owed to the young people of these nations and islands to protect young people from both the moral and physical dangers of homosexual activity.”

He concluded, “I also call on the churches in Dominica to come together and pray for righteousness to flow as a river to the glory of God.”

Christians oppose homosexuality because God calls it sin and the Bible says “…they which commit such things are worthy of death,…” (Romans 1:21-32) and other scriptures. Statistics show a higher rate of alcoholism, mental health iussues, and suicides among homosexuals. There are also studies that show they have a shorter life span. According to the best American studies about three percent of the population is homosexual. When we look at the number of sex crimes against children we see a DISAPPROPRIATE number are committed by this three percent. Many of us were absolutely shocked to learn that David Cameron, Prime Minister of the UK, threatened to withold foreign aid to poor nations unless they stopped discriminating against gays. He is trying to say it tastefully but this can only mean dropping their anti-buggery laws. We don’t expect he would stop there. He wants to see these countries legalize same sex marriage. It is obvious one of the reasons the UK gives foreign aid to poor nations is to be able to have a say in the affairs of these countries. Mr. Cameron has come close to admitting this. This is a bullying tactic and it is unkind beyond being downright rude. Homosexuality should stand or fall on its own merits or lack thereof. It should not – must not – be forced on a nation by trying to buy that nation off or bribe them. The greatest weapon against this vile movement is truth. But any effort we make to provide the scientific knowledge about what homosexuality is and does to people and society is met with unobjective howls and screams accusing us of hate, homophobia, and discrimination. Thank you Steven Green and Christian Voice for countering this tide of immorality that is sweeping in. We can and will fight back. Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. 60 years ago black people could not even drink out of the same water fountain or use the same washroom, and now 60 years later, black people seem to be leading the way for hating another minority group.

must be nice to be on the other side now! perhaps we should go back to the days of institutionalized racism to remind you people how it felt .

    • July 1, 2013

Those of us who are God loving white people could never begin to tell you how grieved, sorry, and ashamed we are for the way our black brothers and sisters were treated by many of our race sixty years ago. Much has changed but there is still work to be done.

Jeremy, as far as that terrible discrimination goes I can only offer you this. I was born and raised in Canada far away from where the worse of that nonsense took place and happily, long afterwards. Not all white people then or now agreed or agree with the incredible injustice and cruelity that stain the pages of history. My own folks were not involved in any of it. If I found they were I think I would change my name!

It is not fair to compare black people of sixty years ago to homosexuals now. Black people are black because God created them black. They are part of the ADAM race which was made in the image and likeness of God. To discriminate against any part of the ADAM race because of color or any other difference is an insult against God.

God did not make any person a homosexual. Some people are born with inclinations or tendancies towards homosexuality just as some are born with inclinations and tendancies to do other bad things. But there is a CHOICE involved. It is the CHOICE we make – it is what we DO – that defines us. Homosexuality is like a steel trap. Once a person is drawn into this behaviour it is diffcult – but not impossible – to break free.

Jeremy, I can promise you that most of the black people who oppose homosexuality do so for the right reasons. Some may not be able to articulate the arguments like I do. They say it is “unatural” therefore it is wrong. This is right of course because St. Paul in the New Testament said it is “…against nature…” in Romans 1:26. But many black people know God forbids homosexuality in the Bible according to Romans 1:2

      • July 1, 2013

        Rev. Donald Hill (Continued)…

according to Romans 1:21-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9,10, 1 Timothy 1:9,10, and Jude vs. 7, and they know this make it a sin. They are not “discriminating” against gays. They simply cannot condone something they know God says is an abomination.

But Jeremy, I have good news! God will forgive us for our sins according to Ephesians 1:7, if we will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as it says in Acts 16:31! This means to believe that He died for our sins and rose again according to 1 Corinthians 15:3,4. We do this by receiving Him as our personal Saviour like it says in St. John 1:12, and Revelation 3:20. When we do this the blood He shed on the cross washes all our sins away according to 1 John 1:7. God accepts us the way we are. But He loves us too much to leave us that way! He delivers us. He changes us and sets us free according to 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Sincerely, Rev. Donald Hill. Pentecostal Evangelist.

Our country,no matter how small in relation to the SO called Developed Countries will stand on the principles/ laws of our Creator.

IF a one chooses to practice homosexuality in the darkness, it is between He and God. God deals with us individually when we sin.

But when a country adopts or supports a policy against the word of God, that country will be cursed and destroyed like Sodom

I standing 100% behind that. anti sodomy, anti gay, anti homosexual thats whats we should be promoting in dominica. we have enough bad influence from the tv already for uk (britain) and america to be trying to shove their policies down our throats its about time the people come out and speak about our governments blindly folowing polices put infront of them

I agree with this decision and this campaign, I have quoted the speech by the Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, says:

‘the white man is not the fount of all wisdom At a time he needs to learn from African culture’

If there is some thing I hate from the white person now is the act of homosexuality or sodomy, I know from deep my heart that this act is beyond human nature, blasphemy actions to the creator and no animal can do this, if ever happens then such animals suppose to be killed right away, human being is a special creature of the creator so suppose to act in an righteous way.
I hope this campaign will not help only African communities but even other whites communities as I believe that are not all whites people whole like this nasty action but due government accepted it they are minority parties in their own countries. This Ant-gay campaign is welcome and Malawi should be the first country on your list where civil societies are busy putting pressure on government in the name of human rights and poor governance as one way of influencing government to accept gay marriages and these bodies are funded foreign governments and organizations as they are doing in other countries and it reached the point that other donors stopped helping Malawi once it openly showed interest in gay marriages, In fact Malawi is not after their money but these countries showed they they are addicted to homosexuality actions and that they make business when people practice such acts that’s why they are busy encouraging many African countries as part of business extension as they know that in the name of money African people accepts everything. How painful acts is this

      Dngi,
I am not sure what you main point is, but I wish to in form you that even in the African Traditional tribes there are homosexuals and they were chosen to perform special functions in there society as they were known for being bright, Creative, loving, not having gender boundaries, being tolerant, and for the most part not having great family responsibilities so that they could concentrate on social matters.
The whole concept of the bible is for the most part a white man creation. If we look at the old testament we would have to adopt lots of other statements eg. slavery, public stoning, war, and more.
The white man were the architects and perpetrators of the slave trade in the West Indies, and they were the one who abolished it. The white man were the ones who introduced us to the Bible and the various teachings, and now they are the ones who realized the Human rights violations (intolerance to homosexuality) and have corrected it in their society and are now asking us to do the same under the ambit of human rights.

Watching the comments, there is a BIG difference between hating a person, and condemning sinful actions. As a Christian, we SHOULD condemn every form of sin, include this one. It does not mean that because we condemn the sin of homosexuality that we hate homosexuals. So all those trying to stir up a hatred show, forget it. It is NOT going to work. Now I agree that we need to stand up for God who says himself that homosexuality is a sin. I will stand up for GOD before I stand up for any human being or Government. We all have the right to choose yes, but remember too that we will all pay for those consequences – either in a good way or a bad way. Who want to follow the ways of the world, that’s up to them. I for one stand up for God. And it doesn’t mean I don’t have any sin, or casting the first stone either. I actually have a few homo friends, and love them and laugh with them. It does not mean I have to agree with them or support their sin. Why our brains cannot comprehend such a simple concept I don’t know! I am happy to sign such a petition as it means I stand up for God, and not following the ways of the world. Some of you, your parents, friends, childrens, parties and picnics come before God, so I do not expect you to understand this. Pray to deepen your faith and experience the power of the holy spirit, and remember most of all that God is for real!

For Jebus’ sake God never gave us the right to judge no man only he can judge them. Unless of course you have never sinned in your life and do every thing that Jesus did when he walked on this earth. People think ; what would Jesus do if he saw people criticizing and beating a homosexual individual? All the Prime Minister is doing is giving Gays in Dominica equal rights in society and protection . You never know what may come up in the long run for all you your son or daughter may grow up to be gay .It’s time we started to face reality in this country if kids are feeling this way they they should not be afraid to talk to someone about it ,or even their parents . It’s time we step up .”TIMES ARE CHANGING DEAL WITH IT !” You can’t hide these things forever , children are going to find out about it one way or the other what we need to do is educate people about these things ,and not be afraid to take a stand someone in your family could be really depressed and hurting cause their afraid to show who they really are instead they lead themselves into an unhappy life .It’s reality deal with it !!

    ‘Hate Crime’ Laws: A Phony”Crisis”
    Intended to Suppress Free Speech
    by Timothy J. Dailey, Ph.D.

    1. Sexual Orientation “Hate Crimes” – A Manufactured Crisis. According to FBI data (Crime in the United States, 2006, and Hate Crime Statistics, 2006), anti-homosexual “hate crimes” account for a miniscule fraction of total crimes in the United States:

” None of the recorded 17,034 murders that occurred in 2006 (0 percent) occurred as a result of “bias motivation” because of the sexual orientation of the victim.
” None of the recorded 92,455 forcible rapes that occurred in 2006 (0 percent) were reported as being a result of bias motivation because of the victim’s sexual orientation.
” Of the recorded 860,853 aggravated assaults in 2006, 267 (.03 percent) were classified as bias motivation because of the victim’s sexual orientation.

    2. Most Alleged “Hate Crimes” are Not Serious Violent Crimes.

” Intimidation: Nearly one-half (46 percent) of the recorded 5449 bias-motivated offenses against persons involved the crime of intimidation, defined as the use of threatening words and/or other conduct, but without using a weapon or subjecting the individual to actual physical attack.

” Simple assault: Another 32 percent of bias-motivated offenses involved simple assault, which is a physical attack not involving the use of a weapon, and where the victim does not suffer obvious severe or aggravated bodily injury.

Does the rare incidence of violent “hate crimes” justify the creation through legislation of an entire new class of crime?

    3. Penalizing Thoughts Instead of Actions. Hate Crime legislation would have a chilling effect on free speech by making unpopular ideas a basis for harsher treatment in criminal proceedings.

” Current versions of “hate crime” legislation would prohibit only acts of violence, not speech. However, any such legislation would incorporate current federal law, which already specifically includes speech, making it unlawful to injure, intimidate, or interfere with any person because of his or her “race, color, religion, or national origin.”

” The Hate Crimes Reporting Act of 1990 mandated that the FBI include “intimidation.” Approximately half the “hate crimes” in the FBI statistics are in this category. Passage of “hate crimes” legislation would make name-calling literally a federal offense.

” “Intimidation” has already been broadly interpreted to include the public criticism of homosexuality, as in the case of 11 Christian protesters charged under a Pennsylvania hate crime law on Oct. 10, 2004. The defendants were charged for peacefully protesting at a “gay pride” rally and faced imprisonment and huge fines before their case was dismissed.

” Michael McGough, senior editorial writer for the Los Angeles Times, writes “The best argument against ‘enhanced penalty’ laws is the constitutional one. In the United States, we are taught, you can be sent to prison for what you do but not for what you think. Not only that, if government picks and chooses which crimes are the most serious based on the motivation behind them or the ethnic background of the victim, that is a violation of the 1st Amendment, isn’t it?” (“There’s little to like about hate-crime laws,” Los Angeles Times, February 19, 2007).

    4. Federal Intrusion into State & Local Law Enforcement. Current “Hate Crime” legislation empowers the federal government to intervene and prosecute alleged “hate crimes” anywhere in the country, thus usurping the prerogative of state and local law enforcement. Federal hate crimes bureaucrats can intervene and claim jurisdiction in localities which lack “hate crime” laws, or where those laws are judged not to be zealously enforced.

    5. The Myth that ‘Hate Crimes’ Are Not Being Prosecuted. Proponents of “hate crime” legislation have not substantiated the assertion that state and local authorities are failing to prosecute such crimes. Ironically, in the most high profile case for hate crimes legislation, the murder of Matthew Shepard, the killers were convicted and sentenced to double life sentences without parole. Only the pleas of Shepard’s parents persuaded the judge to spare Henderson and McKinney the death penalty.

Dr. Timothy J. Dailey is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Marriage and Family Studies of Family Research Council.

    • July 1, 2013

Dr. Dailey: This is an excellent piece of work. I hope you will see that is is published again and widely circulated.

The rabid activities of civil rights groups and the passing of various “hate” laws especially those that limit free speech are making it difficult to give the public the truth about homosexuality. Even ministers of the gospel who have always exercised free speech when it comes to teaching the Word of God are being threatened.

I live in Canada and minister internationally as an evangelist and Bible teacher. As I hear about “hate” laws being enforced in other parts of Canada and the States I can’t help wondering how much longer I will have to teach our Biblical Judeo-Christian values regarding traditional marriage and the diabolical abominations that threaten it.

I believe God is asking us to be committed to the task until the end. Each of us should have this resolve: To be the last man standing! Some of us will pay a price. It will be no greater than others before us have paid.

I’ve read the last chapter of the book. It says WE WIN!

“He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.”

Majority of the churches say, that law is done away because of one commandment ; “REMEMBER TO KEEP THE SABBATH DAY, SIX DAYS SHALL THOU LABOR BUT THE SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD THY GOD…..”Ex 20:8-11 and the churches do not want hear it, farless for keeping it.

Boy, some people say that it is not their fault, homosexuals were born this way.

I laugh at that statement man. Wait till the pedophiles and people committing incest claim that they were born this way.

The same people that claim it is a sexual act between two consenting adults would be the very same people who would cringe and be the first to shun if they knew of an adult guy having sex with his mother. Yet it is between two consenting adults, ain’t it?

It doesn’t matter to us if a person committing incest or pedophilia is born that way, we prosecute them to the full extent of the law, don’t we?

I say to hell with the British; they wouldn’t come to Africa or the Caribbean to eradicate poverty, but they will blackmail us for the little morality and integrity that we have left.

Yes, I do agree that we are all born children of GOD in his likeness and image, but you guys forgetting that HE also gave us free-will, we have the freedom of choice. What we choose to do with that free will is what determines if we are still GOD’s children or that of the devil.

should someone in your family goin down the wrong path and you say to that person listen thats not the wright way to go in the eyes of god is that casting a stone?i will tell whats the problem there is a lot of misunderstand of christ teachings, christ said no one goes to the father unless through me, or should i say like him in order words one has to develop a christ like life and thats frightful because of our sinfull everyday behavours we do not have the confidents to cast judgement, when considering we were created in the image and likeness of god almighty, so in our little squirmy way we hide behind certain bibllical quotes for our weak conveninaces, there is nothing wrong in pulling up each other just try to do good within yourself and in that process help an other for we all have fallen short, and one more thing the reason why you are writting its because you have a certain insight you know something through christ so we have know excuse in gods judgement, his kingdom has come or should say his teaching has come, think about that.

Fool! As always I have much to say on this matter and against it.
Holy Scriptures, “All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.” This includes
yourself who are also a sinner.
Those who are residing on this earth are not without sin one way or the other and some worst than others. Let every one, including yourself examine your conscience.
It is not because you are a sinner that you should not denounce homosexuality which is an intrinsic evil.
Get this straight! All are weak of spirit. No one is perfect. Many distort the truth and teach the untruth and obviously do not possess godly, spiritual enlightenment.
If people do not worship God, do not pray, do not practice godliness, do not perform acts of love/charity/generosity, worst yet, those who do not recognize God as the Creator and Ruler of the world, they will not receive the blessing and graces of God.
All sins are not one and the same and are not to be compared with another just as we are not compare ourselves with others. Where God is concerned, we stand alone before Him and on that inevitable day will give an account of our earthly actions and receive our fair and just eternal recompense as we deserve.
There are various sins, venial and mortal ones but all are different. There are some sins which God will not forgive. There are conditions for obtaining God’s forgiveness and eternal salvation. Too many deceive themselves otherwise, whether they are Christians or not.
If sinners do not worship God, repent, make penance, sacrifice and restitution so as to appease our God they will not be forgotten.
God knows the human heart and what is imbedded in it. Nothing is hidden from Him. No one can run and hide from Him. He does not deceive and He cannot be deceived.
Homosexuality is an intrinsic evil which has sadly enveloped the world. There was a time that they hid their lifestyle. Today, they are out in the open even with gay so-called pride parades and on a Sunday. Some governments have legislated it. I am informing them that they have condemned themselves for they have set a bad precedent, a bad example and to the youths.
Do you not think that God is offended? Homosexuality does not assist the world in any way. On the contrary it has taken away from the world what with men and men relationships and the silly so-called gay sex marriage. This includes lesbian actions between women and women and their so-called marriage. I have previously stated it is the silliest thing of our times.
Consider Sodom and Gomorrah. It is a sinful scourge of our times which is punishable – eternally and which will bring down the wrath of God on all of us and on the earth while we are alive. If we condone it, our lot will be where they will be at the end of time for all eternity. Consider too, as we age, how we will age as sickness will also set in and how we will die.
Sadly, those who practice it, those who condone and legalize it, those who applaud it, promote it and are complacent about it and what which also contaminates the minds of specifically the vulnerable and gullible as youths, appear to be ignorant of the fact that they, too, will be severely punished by God Himself.
God does not condone sin and by no means homosexuality. Homosexuality was never God’s plan for humanity and for the world. He does not approve their rights to practice homosexuality and to get married.
God approves that as human beings, they will be respected, accorded fair employment and housing. These are the only rights they have as human beings just as every one of us.
They want the entire world to approve their sinfulness which is also wrought on the world by Satan, the evil and jealous one, the devil, dragon, the detractor and destroyer of souls for his eternal cauldron of everlasting Fire – Hell.
Being weak of spirit as God knows too well and which they must ask His forgiveness for, never to sin again, whether one commits sins and I mean personal ones of the body, they should never condone homosexuality. HOMOSEXUALITY SHOULD BE CONDEMNED WORLDWIDE.
If they think they have rights to openly practice their abomination, let them do so in private but not at the world’s expense and approval.
The thought is crossing my mind, it would be good for God to cut off their penises so that they could not use them. Those penises cannot conceive children to procreate the world since their relationship is an abomination to God and highly offends Him but God is patience. He is allowing them to further condemn themselves.
I reiterate that this type of evil practice must be condemned.
May God bless you and others who support those so-called gay rights with His spiritual enlightenment to know the difference between right from wrong.

Anonymous, I always like to tell it like it is without watering down the truth and denying it.
You do not condemn people and do not have the right to condemn people just as homosexuals do not have the right to expect us in the world to legislate and approve their abnormal activity and sinfulness which are worthless to the world. We are being morally and spiritually short-changed by those people. We have every right to condemn their actions.
Human beings are to help God to save the world and not to condemn it. Homosexuals are adding to this condemnation by their actions. They will eventually pay the price. If we condone their actions which are evil, we too are liable to pay the eternal price for refusing to do anything about it, be it by not objecting to it.
You condemn “their actions.” God is The One who will condemn them by their actions. Note the difference.

    • July 1, 2013

Indeed we DO condemn ALL these sins!

      But throwing a stone? No.

To CONDEMN means we tell people according to the Word of God (the Bible) a certain act is a sin. If they do it and don’t repent God will in His time and His way punish them.

to THROW A STONE means we punish them. No, we don’t do this. God is the judge. Eventually He will punish those who continue in sin.

I hope this clarifies the matter.

Sincerely, Rev Donald Hill. Pentecostal Evangelist.

    HUMANIST;

WE AGREE WITH YOUR SUGGESTION THAT WE ADDRESS SOCIAL CONDITIONS AND TO BE OPEN MINDED.

HOWEVER, PROGRESS SHOULDNT ALLOW PERMISSIVENESS AT THE ALTER OF INNOSENCE.

EVEN IF THE BIBLE NEVER EXISTED, JUST THE THOUGHT OF HOMOSEXUALITY(CONSENTUAL AND BEHIND CLOSED DOORS) IS UGLY AND UNCLEAN.

EFFEMINATE TENDENCIES ARE SEXUAL ORIENTATION- A KIND OF BIRTH DEFECT. BUT THESE PEOPLE, IF WELL ADJUSTED DO MAKE A CHOICE TO BE STRAIGHT AND CLEAN.

HOMOSEXUALITY IS A CHOICE MADE BY THE EFFIMINATE AND MASCULINE TO GO AGAINST THE LAWS OF NATURE AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

AN UNCLEAN CHOICE THAT IS OBVIOUS.

OUR INFLUENCE ON EARTH DOES AFFECT THE ANIMALS BECAUSE WE POSSESS AN INTELLECT THAT THEY DONT HAVE.

YOUR COMMENT IS A BIT CONFUSING. THE COLONISERS ARE THE ONES WHO ARE PROMOTING SODOMY, SO WHY DO YOU IN THE SAME BREATHE SHAME THE ANTISODOMY CAMPAIGN AS BACKWARD AND POTENTIALLY THREATENING TO AFRICANS AND THE GAYS AS PROGRESSIVE.

WE SHOULD AVOID FOLLOWING THEIR TRENDS AND KEEP TO THE TRADITION OF NATURAL FAMILY LAWS.

IT MIGHT SAVE US FROM BEING CULTURAL SLAVES.

Everyone has a right to be pro or anti-homosexuality or be neutral since these are acts between consenting adults. Everyone has sinned and come short of the glory. Fundamentalist christians have hardened their hearts and have become quite unforgiving. But God is going to forgive us just as we forgive those who trespass against us. So if we do not forgive others, God will not forgive us.

Why does everyone want us to sign onto their agenda. Whether it’s Mr. David Cameron or Mr. Stephen Green; can’t we get along without dictating to us what our policies should be? The British joined with the European Commission in cutting off our protective banana market. They were instrumental in crippling our agricultural industry.

Where was Mr. Stephen Green and his Christian Voice when the children of Darfur were slaughtered? What’s his stand on the famine and starvation in Somalia? Is he concerned about child labour in Africa, particularly in Ivory Coast and Nigeria where cocoa and diamonds enrich his capitalist friends? Is sodomy our most pressing problem? Let God be the judge and let every individual’s conscience be his/her guide. Our government should not sign any pact or pledge with neither PM Cameron nor Mr Stephen Green.

We have to hold homosexuals to the standards we expect of every citizen; respect for the laws of the country. Those who interfere with under-age boys or girls must be punished to the full extent of the law. Child pornography and public acts of sodomy must never be tolerated.

Otherwise, many view homosexuality within the context of Human Rights. In Uganda, for example, homosexuals are executed. Murderers are more likely to be spared than homosexuals. I believe that the male genetalia were not designed for anal sex. But is it my business if one chooses to put it in an ant’s nest?

But by the same token, remember your Sout padner who was at the UN never signed on to any gay resolution but his replacement already did a sing on to one. So…we have signed on. I wish he hadn’t committed us.

      @ Scout Man

This has nothing to do with forgiving others. They did not offend us personally. They offended God. It is left to God to forgive them.
As genuine Christians and practicing ones at that, our duty is to condemn such an evil act. Yes, we have to pray for them that they will be converted so as not to continue bringing down the wrath of God upon the earth and on themselves, eventually condemned to Hell for all eternity because we failed to do what we were obligated to do. We should be concerned about that.
Homosexuality is a sin and should be condemned period.
If you continue to think that what occurs between consenting adults is not a sin and is OK, as homosexuality and should not be condemned, you too possess the spirit of darkness and are living in the dark and condemning yourself.
In this so-called modern day era people are watering down sinfulness and think that it is OK to practice them.
Think God and what will Jesus say and about us if we condone this abomination which so highly offends Him and which does not help the world and is useless to the world.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “Those who know it is a sin and did nothing about it will be severely punished.”
There are some who will think that they do not know. God knows that you do know for you were taught right from wrong. You too will not escape His fair and just judgment.

May i remind us that DOMINICA is a nation under God and our Coat of Arms aptly puts it this way, “Apres Bondier Cest Latere” simply saying that After God is the earth (DOMINICA)! David Cameron and Stephen Green should leave the politicians and people of Africa and the Caribbean to decide whether to legalise homosexuality in their countries and stop bullying through ‘aid’ and pretending to care about the ‘neo colonisation’ of Africa and the Caribbean. Each has their own agenda. I suppose Christian Voice will also soon be emailing thousands of the same officials in African and the Caribbean about the rampant adultery and premarital sex going on in both regions.

John Newton, the 18th century evangelical English clergyman and rabid slave trader, engaged in all the depravities inherent in the slave trade including terrorising and torturing enslaved Africans and sexual relations with enslaved women. He became a slave ship captain AFTER he found his faith in Christ and continued to participate in the trade while holding strong Christian convictions. He left the trade for health and not spiritual reasons, became a pastor, wrote hymns including “Amazing Grace” and became ‘active in the abolition movement.’ Enough of ‘caring Christians.’

That said, people cannot go around assaulting and killing others who have a different sexual preference.

Homosexual acts are a ‘mortal sin’ under Islamic sharia law yet only last year it was reported that a Saudi prince, Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Nasir al Saud was jailed for life in the UK and ordered to spend twenty years in prison for beating and inflicting fatal injuries on his manservant who was found with bite marks on his cheeks and naked pictures of him found on the Prince’s mobile phone. The Prince admitted causing his manservant’s injuries. On completion of his sentence he would be able to claim asylum in Britain by arguing that his life would be in danger in Saudi Arabia.

Despite homosexuality being illegal in the Caribbean many gays and lesbians from Western Europe continue to travel and live throughout the region.

Adultery is also condemned in the Bible as a sexual sin. People divorce, re-marry and still consider themselves Christians. Heterosexual couples throughout the Caribbean enjoy ‘buggery.’ Are we to ‘out’ these men and women and subject them to ridicule and violence too, singing songs about shooting them?

Changing the law will give some protection to gay and lesbian against physical attacks and even death by other members of society including their own family. But changing the law alone will not change attitudes. We all have free choice over our emotions and sexuality and criminalising sexuality based on religious belief whether a heterosexual adulterer or homosexual is not acceptable in any society.

Homosexuality is not a choice, it is simply the way some people are born. Sex tourism and perversities are not found only among homosexuals, or even mainly among them. There are far more sex shows, porn, paedophiles etc existing for heterosexuals. What someone gets up to in the comfort of their own bedroom, as long as they are not breaking the law, is entirely up to them.
There are far, far worse “crimes” being committed in the world, and I for one would rather have gay friends, than murderers, Paedophiles, robbers, child molesters…..

I agree that there are other more important issues to deal with than what two consenting adults do in the privacy of the bedroom.

A lot of people oppose homosexuality because they say the sex is nastiness. What is one person’s nastiness is another person’s pleasure. Alot of herterosexual men go down low on their women. Is that nastiness? To me, each to his own as long as no body else is harmed.

People must stop being hyprocrites, pretending to be upright (no pun intended) and virtuous when in the night these so-called angels are involved in all sorts of ”nastiness.”

We must realize that human sexuality is biological, and this involves parts of the body through which wastes are eliminated evrey day, whether it is heterosexual or homosexual sex.

What people do in their bedrooms, behind closed doors, is not the business of others who are living on the outside.
I always say, what the eyes do not see and ears do not hear do not affect us and does not hurt the heart. Only God knows what they do in private.
What they bring out into the world arena and do in public, are the concern of the public. Immoralities as homosexuality must be condemned at all costs.
It is all for the love of God, for the vulnerable and gullible especially the youths that we may protect the world and them from such evil. It is imperative that we at least try to do so.
If those who consider themselves good people and failed to do anything, they have sinned against God and will receive His fair and just recompense as they deserve.

Dominica is not ready for gay rights. So this is of course far from the majority’s mind. Dominica’s tourism is already the most sad thing I’ve ever seen. Agreeing to this will only make it worse. Don’t you dare talk about ‘dirty money’. Money is money and the country needs it. It’s perfectly fine when it’s drug money huh? That’s dirty money. I am a creature of God. Same as them. He gave me no right to judge so I am not going to go over my boundaries and do exactly what He said not to do. Because I respect God. And you should too. Leaving it as simply being illegal is good enough. Don’t take this any further because it doesn’t have to be. This is not an important issue in Dominica. We have better things to worry about. So tell the UK to go into their streets and deal with their own problems and get out of our business because we’re handling ourselves quite well without their input. If they’re not going to actually help our country in anyway then go away and go try to bring more destruction and separation in some other part of the world where people actually care what they think. Please and thank you

    • Justice and Truth
      August 21, 2011

      @ yep

Corrupt governments! Many people in those countries do not approve of homosexuals, so-called gay rights and marriage. There are interest groups who promote it; some of them are politicians and some other people, even some Catholic Christians and sadly so who are complacent about it and vote for them. Well, every one’s day is coming when God will mete out His fair and just recompense to them for not standing up even for our God and for what is right to do, to condemn this abomination which highly offends Him.
A few months ago there was an election to vote for a new Mayor of Toronto. One of the candidates is a homosexual who adopted a baby with his partner (which disgusts me)was campaigning for this office. I did not vote for him because of his sexual orientation.
After the election I spoke to a friend who is a Catholic and who informed me that she voted for this man. I told her you know, as a Catholic you should not have voted for him.
They want to be elected in office and be in office so that they could promote their evil agenda further.
This same candidate is a member of the Liberal government and had held a portfolio. The Premier of Ontario (a Catholic) appointed him Minister of Health. I deduced the reason for this was so that he could assist those who are gays and who are suffering from AIDS. They made a mess of the Health System and wrongly utilized funds. Some of them were forced to resign.
Well, he did not win the mayoralty and he lost his seat in office. I do not know what he is presently doing and really do not care.
It is a typical example that many governments of the world are corrupt. I hate to state not all of them. Governments are forced to legislate this abomination because of those interest groups, gay politicians, their supporters and to remain in office, selling their souls to the devil. What I can also say is woe to them on that day when they meet God for their judgment. We must also not fail to inform them accordingly.
A few years ago I had written to my Member of Parliament about voting for this legislation. He is a Christian and I reminded him of his Christian duty first to God. He replied that he is not participating in the vote. His constituents have elected him four times. He must be doing something good.
Wherever in the world we reside we have a right to condemn this abomination and not to uphold and support it. As for those who remain silent, Our Lord said, “If we do, even the stones will cry out.”
There is dignity in being a human being for God created us but there is no dignity in being a homosexual and adds nothing good to the world.
We Christians, whatever our religious affiliation are also told to vote wisely. If you are aware of a candidate who is a homosexual or lesbian, do not vote for them. They want to be elected just to promote their agenda and further contaminate the world. They are up to no good, performing the work of Satan rather than of God. Holy Scriptures tells us to “REJECT THEM!”
All praise, honor and glory be to God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit. Amen!

When are you going to get it into your head that homosexuality is intrinsically evil? Cease insinuating that others hate certain groups. They do not hate them but are speaking out against what which highly offends God, contaminates the world and what the evil they have wrought on the world.
We are the world and we are the children of the world. What occurs in the world affects all of us in the world. One thing the world could do without and should be eradicated are homosexual activities and so-called same sex marriage including the so-called gay pride parade. WE DO NOT NEED THIS ON THE EARTH! Choice?

Are you sure we will remain here when Babylon falls? Can you predict and/or see the future? Do not be so presumptuous. This and taking God for granted could be the downfall of many for all eternity.
Our duty is first to God, pleasing Him and then to humanity. If we please God we will please others in that all earthly laws are to be moral ones and not immoral ones. Where God is concerned, society must have laws that “will please everyone.” God makes no excuses for sinfulness/abomination. Learn the ways of God which you are sadly lacking due to your warped mentality.
We have one aim in life and it is to please God that all people conform to the Most Holy Will of God, politicians or the public. The world belongs to God and He governs it. Human beings are only a speck of smoke which can fade away too soon.
We do not have a choice if we wish to please Him, our Creator, Maker and Ruler of the world, to receive His blessings and graces, to remain in Him and to obtain eternal salvation at the end of our lives. Keep that in mind. This is what you have to teach others about. DO NOT MISS THE BOAT!

We must be careful not to perpetuate hatred against any group of people. Too much focus is being given to the sexual aspect of homosexuality in these discussions, rather than the socio-economic conditions of our country. What we need from Mr. Stephen and his group is assistance to fight poverty, child sexual abuse, high unemployment, strengthening families, increasing awareness of the family as the foundation of our society. We must fight society’s ills, not other people.
This continued focus on the male anatomy and sexual practices of homosexuals serves only as a distraction from the many issues facing poor countries. Christian groups must come in to strengthen our people, help us develop our economy and our families.

Interesting how some people in this country are so quick to use the bible to denigrate the gay community.
Probably weren’t so pleased when the white slavers and owners used the same bible to try and prove the black man had no soul and therefore was a lesser being. Kinda makes you think a bit ………..What do you really believe in ??
Gay rights has nothing to do with religion. This is all about fear and trying to keep people down because they are different in some ways and their lifestyle is often misunderstood .
Fear breeds violence . Aren’t we trying to turn away from that route in Dominica ?
Perhaps if homophobes took the time to really understand what the life of a gay person is like instead of paying homage to the same old rhetoric things might move ahead.
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like a lot of people have the guts to do that…Fear once again !

I have being following this gay rights issue ever since i can recall being able to understand right from wrong. It is so absurd that it is unbelieveable.Lets loook at murder as an example.Isn’t murder against the law?Does it infringe on your basic rights as an individual.NO.laws are instituted to protect human rights and values so we have to respect them. There are so many murders all over the world everyday, should we then legalize murder.sodomy is totally contrary to gods teaching and it’s no secret.God solely destroyed sodom and gormorra for the filfy lives they were living. Are we made to accept a particular behavior because it is more or less linked to the rich and famous. Why ain’t much more resources and time spent on educating and financing aids campaign around the world especially in africa where tens of thousand are dying of the dreadful disease called aids. Are we saying it is ok to teach our kids that it is right to have relations with the same sex.when infact we teach them that sex is male and female and they came about through sexual intercourse between a man and a woman. How hypocrite can we be.The right of every human being should be protected and respected and so if one wants to indulge in sodomy in the privacy of his home then thats his business, but why is the society made to accept the fact that it is right.Christians beliefs is that one man be married to one moman.Isn’t that so?The U.S.A and England do follow that rule and therefore if one man marries another wife whilst he is still legally married then he commits an offence and can easily go to jail for polygamy.Shouldn’t it be the right of a man to choose how many wives he wishes to have?I drew this example to show the hypocrisy in these countries.Only one thing is left to say and it is the fact that GOD the supreme leader and creator is much greater than those who are breaking his rules and teachings for political gain and popularity.IN GOD I TRUST.

I always laugh when the topic of homosexuality in Dominica hits the airwaves, because it exposes our hypocrisy. Homosexuality in DA is not new first of all; latent in years gone by but definitely not new. More and more men in Dominica are gay or bisexual, so when the issue is raised I always have to ask: Is homosexuality the BIGGER SIN THE BIGGEST SIN? Come on Dominicans your hypocrisy is showing. Hello My name is HYPOCRISY AND I AM DOMINICA. And by the way my counterparts as in adultery, incest, fornication, stealing, bank fraud, passport fraud, etc.are having a BIG laugh!!!!

i agree and this is exactly how aids is passed on , those men get married and behind their wives backs have sex with other men without using a condom they go have sex with their wives , they get divorced their wives are single so they are free to have sex with other people and it goes on and on. If only the GAY MEN of Dominica would come out of the closet admit their gay we women would not have to suffer , and maybe , just maybe it would help prevent aids .

Well, we cannot serve both God and Mammon at the same time. The Bible pretty much says that it is not natural for two same sex persons to “be” with each other. There must be a reason why this was deemed unnatural. Those who live by the Bible and/or other religious books cannot condone what the English PM wants to do. I believe that the abilities to think and talk have caused humans to come up with all sorts of things, mostly good but some definitely bad, especially the immoral ones, which are rushing the world into unprecedently levels of decadence. The animals, who do not think and talk, somehow do not have these issues. It is amazing the price that has to be paid by politicians to stay in Office these days. They have to pander to all major interest groups, some of whom might not be working in the best interest of mankind.

The good and sobering fact is that this is still God’s world and He is in charge. There is still hope that one day, the decadence will end or be reversed.

      @ Hello

Did he? You should ask him what were the terms and condition that he signed.
Same rights mean that every one, equally, are accorded due rights, dignity and respect, fair employment and housing. This is what rights are generally all about.
These people do not need any more rights for they are the same gender.
When will those governments, interest groups and those types of human rights organizations comprehend this?
Some of us are more intelligent than they are. Note how they create a mess in the world. The world is not getting better but worst by instituting their immoral laws. They lack godliness.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “Apart from Me you can do nothing.” The Lord knows this too well. He will eventually punish them for instituting immoral laws which bring his children to the jaws of Hell and into it forever. It is so sad!
From what we are experiencing with this abomination, the words of the Lord who is also true to His promise said, “Do not weep for Me but for yourselves and for your children.”
St. Paul said: “Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
The day will come when all earthly things and enjoyment will pass away. Only Heaven and Hell will remain. We choose the path where we hope to spend our eternity. Remind politicians about this.

Govt. are gay, they will have thier ife and their point 2 children, but lunch time the have their boys for lunch. We in the Caribbean are not anti-gay, we have always known about our gay people, we don’t need Gay white man to tell us what to do, why do the white men think they know it all, the UK and USA do not rule the world anymore, we are no longer under them, we can make up our own minds, David Cameron, clean up your own back yard, some many young boys are be rape in your country, sort that out then talk to us. @ Mary Joe

Keep quiet! Where is your head and mind? You are not anti-gay! You should be anti-gay because it is an abomination to the Lord. It is not practicing hatred to be anti-gay.
Anti-gay means that you detest such a relationship which you, I and others have every right to detest. These people want to take over the world with their sinfulness and expect us to approve of them. We cannot approve what which is destroying the world, encouraging it to be immoral and contaminating the minds of the youth. We cannot stand by idle and watch this happen. We are our brothers’ keepers which is a command of God. We are not to encourage anyone in their sinfulness. As we state this and do our utmost to practice it,
we ask God forgiveness for whatever sins we committed.
You clean up your own backyard. God knows that you have enough to clean-up rather than accuse others of it.
All of us are in the world and we are obligated to stand up for the truth. You are also obligated to speak out against abduction and rape of children, etc. By speaking up and letting your voice be heard you could change matters in your very own environment. In addition, you may help God to save those perpetrators. In so doing you will save your own soul. This is worth contemplating on.
I am certain that the last thing that God wants to hear and observe are those who remain in the background and comment and accusing others while they do nothing about changing their environment while they hope to go to Heaven when they die. No work, no gain, no Heaven.

Very good Mr. Stephen, very good. But let’s not forget we can not be selective in our campaigns. Too often we tend to turn our backs on one important issue, and key on our own agenda. Currently India, the world’s largest democracy has launched a big time anti-corruption campaign. In the sight of God, sin is sin. I’m straight, anti-homosexual activity. But wait, Who am I to judge? For the Supreme Being alone holds such… As far as I’m concerned, I care less ’bout what one does in his privacy, as long as it does not intrude in my domain. The time has come to call an Ace an Ace. You can not condone one and ridicule an other. David Cameron has enough problem in the UK as we all know. I for one think that there’re more pressing issues to worry about in Dominica than what you’ve keyed on. Though it’s a valid and moral subject to ponder, I don’t think it will put bread on one’s table either way or the other. So I say, let us focus on what has become an epidemic in our leaders throughout the Caribben and Africa. It affects everyone in Dominica, it is corruption, corruption, corruption.

What utter rubbish. Even aside from what people of a religious or nonreligious bent may think of homosexuality, for Dominica or the Caribbean to join such a campaign is a step towards political suicide in the eyes of much of the world. The more prominently the Caribbean becomes viewed by outsiders as an anti-gay group of islands (the extent of this, of course, varying from island to island), the fewer tourists, gay or otherwise, you can expect in the region, as well as increased onslaughts from gay rights groups. A prominently anti-gay island may still receive lots of tourists overall–look at Jamaica, the island widely described as the most fundamentalist and homophobic in the world. But such numbers are deceptive. You can be sure that gay tourists do not go to a place like Jamaica unless there is an attraction they simply must see or if they want to flirt with danger. Progressive heterosexual tourists may also avoid the nation for similar reasons (though it is also true that some visit such regions to observe them and try to figure out their mindset–a kind of cultural anthropology). To finish with the Jamaica example, it is true that Jamaica’s tourist industry has suffered for a variety of reasons not related to homophobia, like the warnings about crime and the disappearance of much of the sea life that tourists used to be able to snorkel or dive to observe. (To learn more about this, an excellent documentary is Jamaica for Sale by Esther Figueroa.)

To campaign against gay rights is to be non-progressive and culturally backwards in the eyes of much of the world. A little place like Dominica will not benefit from such a depiction. Only progressive views can give it a positive depiction in the media.

This is all well and good, but some may read the above and say that even if it is true that it is a political risk to agree with such a campaign, it’s still better than pretending to accept something we do not accept. I imagine such a view, at least the latter half of it, characterizes most Dominicans. It is not surprising; the colonists instilled Christianity into the slaves, and the slaves, believing it to offer them a positive future, so fully accepted it that it has become, for many in the Caribbean, not just a way to live but the literal truth, the bible a kind of poetic history book. Be this as it may, it is not hard in this day and age to do research on one’s own, and one may quickly discover that there are good reasons to cast doubt upon the colonists’ teachings. Even better is to explore the world if one gets the opportunity, thereby seeing that it is much more complex than one may imagine if one stays in a single island his or her whole life.

You don’t have to like homosexuality. Even I, a heterosexual, find the idea of the act among males off-putting. But I do not condemn the act because I see no reason to. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation, not a choice (why would anyone in an anti-gay society choose to be gay?). It occurs frequently in other animals; almost anyone living among animals, as on a farm, may observe it from time to time. And, as long as it takes place between consenting adults, there is nothing wrong with it.

This campaign is culturally backwards. Such a campaign would not exist if the bible had not contained a passage about homosexuality. Had the bible praised homosexuality, there would be campaigns endorsing it to those who disagree with it. This campaign seeks, slowly, to return the world to the dark ages, just like the far right Republicans and Tea Party lunatics in America seek to turn America into a theocracy. And it seeks to create for the wider world an image of Africa and the Caribbean as unenlightened, reactionary nations.

Fundamentalism tears the world apart. We do NOT need more of it. What we need is education, broad-mindedness, and intellectual debates. Fundamentalists generally oppose all of these. Do not let them sway you. Open your mind and figure out things for yourself.

    • Anon Again
      August 20, 2011

Humanist, if I disagree with your position, does this make it utter rubbish? This seems to be what you’re suggesting. You disagree with Stephen Green. Fine. This doesn’t mean he’s position is rubbish and yours is…what?

I don’t believe in homosexuality and I don’t accept that it should be thrust on me. Britain tried thrusting it upon its territories in the Caribbean and these territories have said no. We as a people ought to have a right to reject anything we think is foreign to our natural way of life. And we see homosexuality as foreign. (By the way, Christianity isn’t the only religion that frowns on homosexuality. Try it in a Muslim country!
I am not going to seek to ridicule your position because I think you’re entitled to it. However, I firmly believe you’re wrong to suggest that tourism will suffer if we take a position against having Britain thrust homosexuality upon us. The world already knows our position on gays. Certainly, the world knows the Caribbean’s position on gays. What the Caribbean countries have practiced is tolerance (which, by the way, is what Christianity teaches). This means we condemn the act but we have to accept the individual as a human being and child of God.
In some Caribbean countries, Bahamas, for example, there have been protests against openly gay cruises, where gays believe they can flout the laws by opening engaging in behaviors that that they ought not do in public. However, there are few attacks on gay visitors who go ahead and respect our laws and and beliefs. You correctly made reference to Jamaica, which the world sees as the capital of anti-homosexuality in the Caribbean. Yet Jamaica’s tourism has not been hurt as a result. I don’t understand what you mean when you say the numbers are deceptive. The fact is, Jamaica continues to attract millions of visitors despite its reputation.

It’s interesting that you stated that you find homosexuality off putting, yet you won’t condemn the act. If you think the practice is wrong, say so, and feel free to condemn it. If you believe it’s right, morally or otherwise, then say so. You have a right to.

I don’t believe the campaign is culturally backward no more than I believe that a fight against slavery was culturally backward. In the case of slavery, Britain used its power and wealth to control our lives, our souls, our beliefs. It was immoral and wrong. What it’s seeking to do here is a new form of slavery. It’s again trying to impose it immoral way of life on us. That too is wrong. You may disagree, but you are entitled to. Utter rubbish? No way.

    • August 20, 2011

Humanist pointed out: “Why would anyone in an anti-gay society choose to be gay”?

Except that all of us as human beings come into this world with an orientation of a perishing, sinful nature–homosexual behavior is one of those shameful, nasty, unclean, and sinful habits.

Would any person choose to have cancer that will eat up their flesh to physical death? No not at all. But when we do, we try our best to fight against it–meaning we want healing from cancer, why not want healing from homosexual desires, as well.

The reason society does not accept it is because of the conduct–an unnatural sexual conduct–anal sexual behavior–man with man.

The truth is all sorts of sexual conducst is of the flesh. And the things of the flesh is futility, fruitless, and abomination before God.

No matter how rebellious we can become at certain times, as human beings, we were made to give Glory to God by allowing Him to put His ways of Love on display through our words, thoughs and deeds.

The desire to do so will always remain in us–no matter how small, no matter who we are and what we have done against God in the past.

That is the reason society cannot accept homosexuallity. It is an abomination before a Holy and Living God of Spirit and Truth.

And we do not have to accept it, saying that is an orientation, in that like all other sinful desires, homosexual desires can be healed; for it is of the mind, not like cancer or any of those internal disease that destroys our physical body.

In other words human beings came into this world with their perishing nature of sin and all sorts of imperfection. But by the stripes of Jesus Christ–His spiritual blood, known as Love, we can be healed. My words are of personal experience becaus of my faith, trust, obedience, and humility towards a Living God.

It is not about man’s decission–what he thinks is right or wrong. It is God who is in control–but by His Holy Spirit, the influence of His Person of Love–Jesus Christ.

Conscience–where God’s Holy Spirit indwells a person–will tell any man who is of God, that his desire to conducts sex with another man is not a prctice of Love, the ways of Life which is of God.

And that person will want healing–just like every human being needs spiritual and physical healing from God. By his faith, God will show mercy and compassion for his weakness of the flesh, by blessing him with self-control, not to commit the sin.

Otherwise we are just waiting for our day of eternal perish; to return to the dust that we came from with a dead soul. Because we say that is the way I come, and what I do is not worse than what others are doing, so I want my right to do what I want to do. God simple separates Himself from us, leaving to perish in our sinful nature. “Dust you are and to dust you shall return”.

It does not have to happen to us that way though. That is the reason there is still the instinct in most of us, not accept our own sick, corupt, shameful, and sinful, attitude and conducts.

And when we notice those same habits in others, we will want to point it out to them as well. But it is still man’s personal choice–whether he have victory or defeat as he exist in this world.

In God, we will always have victory, through faith, trust, humility, and obedience.

Dominica getting rascist now then? That’s clever thing to say. Let’s not tell the white tourist people that – or you’ll just receive visits from the black ones and maybe the brown ones – that’ll cut your income down as a nation.

And so is fornication, but- oops, I’m sorry, I forgot that that immorality is becoming nonexistent, so no one cares about that anymore.

I PRAY GOD THAT OUR PM AND LEADERS WILL READ THIS AND RESPOND POSITIVELY . WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT AID FROM THESE COUNTRYS AS WE HAVE NOT BEEN RECIVING MUCH ANYWAY. LET GOD GIVEN VALUES BE OUR MOTO . KEEP DOMINICA FREE OF THE DISTRUCTION THAT WILL SOON RAIN UPON THE NATIONS THAT PROMOTE HOMOSEXUALITY/AND ALL THE WICKED ACTS THAT THEY PROMOTE

BULLING IS ALREADY ILLEGAL HERE SO WHAT IS YOUR POINT?

        @ NYAMERS

…And keep it so for you never know when it will be made legal by change of governments in years to come as the world becomes more godless. Keep your heart, mind, eyes and ears open. Pray that it never becomes legal for this will really bring down the wrath of God on the nation and the entire world.

They aren’t promoting homosexuality, they’re promoting that people stop treating them as a lesser being, much like the slaves were.

        @ nah

How foolish can you be? No one is treating homosexuals as slaves or lesser beings. It is all in their mind and yours. Their actions emanated from the Evil One, the enemy of God and of our souls who is out to destroy souls for his eternal cauldron of fire. They cannot expect other people to condone it. This is what the controversy and condemnation is all about it – their evil actions.

Wait what????????? What are you getting at? So, “God” created each one of us in his image except homosexuals….. That’s double thinking and plain disgusting for you to say that as a human being!

        @ koneru

You too are being foolish to assume that God created all of us in his image except homosexuals or to accuse others of assuming this.
God created human beings. He did not create babies as homosexuals or people to be homosexuals and to perform homosexual acts. If this was his intention, He would not have created man and woman and said, “Go and multiply…have children and fill the world with children/human beings.”
Those men and women who participate in this abomination and make it their life, have gone wrong. It could also have stemmed from their parents and their nurturing. Only God knows. Nevertheless, they chose to follow that path, to love it, remain in it and to expect us to approve of it. Not every one in the world will approve of it because it is intrinsically wrong. Put this into your head and keep it there.
Our One and Only God does not approve of and condone sin. How could He have created people as homosexuals and lesbians? Use your basic common sense. Did he create thieves and murderers too? This includes all of you who condone this abomination and who think that governments of the world and organizations should approve of it and legislate it and every one else should just grin and bear it, and march to their tune.
HOMOSEXUAL ACTS ARE AN ABOMINATION TO THE LORD! IT CONTAMINATES THE WORLD AND ALSO THAT OF OUR YOUTH. IT SHOULD BE CONDEMNED IN EVERY PART OF THE WORLD BY EVERY MEMBER OF SOCIETY!
        May God enlighten you accordingly.
