House Of NyahBinghi Waitikubuli observes 81st Coronation Anniversary of Emperor Haile Selassie I

In connection with our Ancient Ethiopian Heritage INI of the House of NyahBinghi, annually observe the Coronation Anniversary of Emperor Haile Selassie I and Empress Wazaro Menen on the 2nd of November.

However according to the Ethiopian calendar this is a leap year, hence, the Coronation Anniversary will be observed on the 3rd of November on At House of NyahBinghi Tabanacle Grounds, Gommier Giraudel.

Reflecting on the years of our growth or our nation from the 1970’s to 2011

To our Nation and People INI extend be guided by the foundations and examples laid by our Elders, from the Maroons to the Statesman the Founding Matriarchs and Patriarchs who laid these foundation stones.
With an I-nited (united) effort Work, Live and Build this nation as the gem she is named to uphold.

Being a country of diverse Culture and traditions, we share this common ground of the consciousness of our heritage.

Yet our National Symbols have inited (united) us as one people. Our Creed/Coat of Arm/Pledge/Anthem/Flag expresses the connections of our peoples to The Almighty, our Spirituality, our Loyalty and the commitment of our peoples in nation building.

Each must contribute

Let there be no mistake: Each man must contribute.

There is no protection from the demand that a man’s worth be assessed by his achievements. Education and learning offer no escape from the obligation of toil. Social position and high birth provide no guarantee of soft hands and a life of ease and comfort. High origins are no passport to high position.

To those who contribute willingly, to the best of their abilities, who, in sweat and toil, work for the good of the nation with little thought of self, to them will much be given, even to the governing of the land. Nor should anyone today mistakenly believe that only in the cities can he serve his country. The greater need today is among the people, with those who work the soil, who provide the nourishment and sustenance upon which Our Country feeds. Today’s younger generation must maintain their ties with the people who are the bulk and backbone of the nation. The problem of the many must become the problem of the few, for only in this way can the progress we earn be lasting and real and of benefit to all.

“This very institution of Parliament is itself a striking example of the reshaping and molding of custom and tradition which has at every step marked Our Country’s development over the years. To serve in these Chambers, a man must possess high ability and demonstrated talents. Indeed, you Ministers must, in addition, have persuaded your constituents that you dispose of these qualities in abundance, for you owe your claim to sit in this deliberative assembly to their votes, cast in free and open elections.

“In the months ahead, much will be asked of you. You will be called upon to consider diverse and complex legislation, proposals prepared by experts after long and painstaking efforts, enactments vital to the life and growth of the nation. Study them carefully and dispassionately; seek emotional involvement but objectively, as representatives of a united nation and people, with the public welfare your constant concern.”

while we fight among ourselves trying to identify what is what. one thing, we are all GOD’S children who were given the grace of life under the “sun” the strongest reflection of the “MOST HIGH”.Our mission in life should be to love one and other, and not be fighting each other through the diffrent influences that devide us in the name of “religon”, the source of most major wars that have been fought on our planet. So stop all this bickering, and live NOW tomorrow is not ours. ONE LOVE that is the message, we no not where we are going when we pass on. there is no end to life, but to our flesh and bones, life was befor us life will be after us so what’s the force tell me what’s happening. we all belive in what THEY influence us to belive. We all yearn the same thing LOVE.

People, your redemption will come when you seek knowledge. The knowledge that will not make you targets for perpetual slaves of different forms and times.

I am not a believer of any cult, christianity or religion, but from what i read and understand of the bible, the book some rastas and religions including christianity uses as their spiritual guide, there is nothing in it confirming Selassie as GOD or the coming messiah. From what i’ve also read of Selassie,he has never proffess or claim to be the messiah, but rather believed in the coming messiah as i do.Rastafarianism is just another myth as Roman catholicism, there is no truth in them.I must admit there’s certain aspect of what rasta teaches like healthy and natural way of living and eating i admit to.Other than that i see no spirituality in rasta, they must stop promoting smoking as a way of life.Based on how i see alot of these rastas look,i do not feel impress to live like them, most of them look like death warmed up.The KING of Kings and LORD of Lords is the MESSIAH and CHRIST,soon to come,so repent.

You believe in no religion, but you tell us to repent because “the MESSIAH and CHRIST” is coming “soon” at the end? That makes no sense. If you only mean the first part of your post–not following cults, the foolishness of believing that Haile Selassie is any kind of “reincarnated” figure–I agree with and applaud you.

For them rastafarians who believe in selassie as the god they need to think again how much i love the great bob marley freedom songs.I hope he born again so he can enter in to heaven, ”Nor is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under haven given among men by which we must be saved.;Muslims also do not believe in Jesus or they do not pray in Jesus name .But Jesus is the way the truth, and the life.NO one goes to the father except through Jesus CHRIST.

wow in all the comments i have read here so far,i had to jump behind yours, why because you seem to be one of the so called saved soul, but here is my question to you, since no one goes to the father but through christ,it means you are totally in line with christ, and that you have done exactly what christ has done to honor and glorify god,for example, christ was baptized of water and then fire,if you do not understand fire baptism,it is like that,he denied his body of food and drink for 40 days and 40 nights, have you done just that,i doubt that, anyway lets move on,the bible also states that god created man in his own image and likeness, and that man was made little gods after him,now that the part that is tricky to understand for a non confidential mind,in other words if you as a creation of god lack the confidence to be like god this then you are in denial of who you really are,now this is where sellassie is god,god has manifested in him,god has made him god after him,you mentioned bob marley, marley sang a song called war that was words sellassie spoke to to the united nations assembly, that was phrophecy,no ordinary person could have said that, its because he was well versed in the teaching of god like christ, god spoke through him, sellassie grew up in a palace all his life, being educated in the knowledge of god, this people did not grow up like us,ephiopia and this places return the same bible way of life,so i think one should look at themselves first and understand what is written in the bible, the fact behind not grooming your hair is simple, you are not living after the flesh, that is why christ fasted,he was making a point,he was teaching the inner being, the spirit, that’s why he never died he left the body, your body is already dead, its the spirit within that gives it motion,so if one is like christ then he is god,i know this is had to accept, its because we are weak, and lack the knowledge,we have lost even our own language our customs the wisdom which was suppose to be handed down to us from the fathers,we are far away in the west, this people in the horn of africa have that way of life still, from god to man,we are lost sheep, relying on what we were taught in the west,we live a life of material,so saying christ is the way,you are only talking the talk, not walking the walk, christ way is thy kingdom come,in other words the knowledge and education of how to live has come, rasta is that way, natural like adam and eve,no hair or body grooming, that is real had to do its easy for camel to go through an eye of a needle instead.

@[ FORREAL.]Jesus became our supreme example as God in human form.He took the indentity of a slave, refusing to cling to his privileges as God.Jesus-God in human form -experienced hunger. He grew tired. He felt the sting of loneliness. He felt the pressure of temptation. For these reasons. We can be assured that God understands what we are going though in life. But we can be thankful that Jesus was not just a man.He was able to rise above human circumstances to reconcile sinful people to a holy God.At the end of time, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is lord.Christ’s divine nature, which he veiled at times during his earthly life, will then be clearly visible for all to see.[ forreal] I baptized in one name.[ The father the son and the Holy Spirit.

    Blessed Coronation to all.
HAILE SELLASSIE 1 CHRIST THE KING

His Majesty told the congregation in Jamaica( on His arrival in 1966)….priests, prophets…and traitors, I am He.

During His five year stay in England He told a group that in order for them to know Him, they must know Jesus Christ first. Some believed and obeyed.

KING OF KING, LORD OF LORD, CONQUERING LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH…WORDS BESTOWED ON HIM BY THE HIGH PRIEST OF ETHIOPIA ON HIS CORONATION DAY.

IT IS JUST A MATTER OF REDEMPTION OF RIGHTEOUS BLACK PEOPLE IN A SHORT TIME.

    WE GIVE THANKS

Ras Tafari: the pre-coronation name of Emperor Haile Selassie I. Ras is an Amharic term equivalent to duke or lord. And Tafari Makonnen was the family name of Emperor Selassie. Rastafari is the same name taken by members of the Rastafari movement who regard the Ethiopian Emperor as the reincarnation of Christ as well as the embodiment of the Godhead: religous people should refrain from judging. our history was stolen, raped by the same institutions we so blindly follow.

We understand that African history was stolen from its people, however, the idea that this “Godhead” is a trinity is illogical and far from what previous prophets taught.

Rastafarianism is much more than an African Hippie movement. It is a religion that has roots that go back to Jamaica and the 1930s.
Rastafarians believe the Messiah is Haile Selassie (hay´ -lee s« -lah´ -see), the last emperor of Ethiopia. As emperor, Selassie was actually called “Ras Tafari.”

Early Rastafarians considered Selassie the living God who fulfilled a prophecy of Marcus Garvey.

all marcus garvey said was look to the east… etc etc… mr garvey never painted himself as a prophet… mr garvey did many works in the u.s and u.k b4 he came back to jamaica… the f.b.i or whatever secret service at the time tried to bring mr garvey down but they couldn’t… then they charged him on mailfraud lol… they some how pinned some nonsense to him and that was grounds for deportation from the u.s… and it is then mr garvey did extended work in jamaica but never reached the size of his accomplishments in the u.s… mr garvey had the black star movement in the u.s… even had his own shipping company and over 1 million members and growing… larger than the current nation of islam… the bible says the wise men came from the east… so look to the east is a simple term that have been used… i respect all people opinions and religious affiliations… but what has selassie done for him to be considered a messiah… what teachings did he live behind… what disciples did he instruct… oh my and please rastamen and women… don’t force locks on u all children… grow them in the belief as u have every right to… but please if the child wants to put locks he or she will… on their own… making them children look ugly with them bangos on dere head..

You dislike the locks but you will appreciate chemicals in a woman’s hair? Do you appreciate false hair? At least the locks are natural, they just need to be maintained like any other hair.

        November 2, 2011

ok mr abu… i don’t dislike locks… in fact well taken care of locks looks lovely… but let’s be real… giving a child locks and they grow up with it all their life is almost like taking the child identity from them…. cause they’ll never want to cut it and see who they truly look like… cause of religious belief… and it looks a mess.. i saw some white children with locks walking with their mom who’s a rasta also… and my my yellow hair is in better kept condition than those children’s…. i think locks should be something of personal choice…. stop forcing locks on them children… is duuurrrttt i say

come on bro, surely you can’t believe that everyone who calls themselves rasta believes this to be factual. Everyone has their own beliefs about everything. I can’t identify someone with a shaved face and clean cut with their “religion”. This should be the same across the board. Who cares why some rasta was thinking whatever bro. That’s trivial. Let’s leave the finger pointing for centuries ago. Muslims, Christians, atheists, Jews, Hindus, and so on have their own beliefs and we live and let live. The crab in a barrel method has never worked and yet we still cling to it.
