RIP Deacon Kevin RIP
My thoughts and prayers are with the Bellot and Redemptorists family.
RIP
He has relatives in Boston. Earlier I spoke to one of his cousins in Toronto who is one of my cousins but on the other side of our family. I surely wished that I could attend this Service. Boston is a bit far from Toronto. I will be present in spirit.
Deacon Kevin Bellot, as your family, friends and your CSSR Confreres are mourning your loss I know as they do your soul is resting in God’s peace. There is no doubt that they are asking, why? Why did he leave us at such an early age, so soon and that he had a promising future in the Lord? They are are not questioning God but are within their rights as human beings to ask why and how could this happen to their beloved one. Their conclusion as many of us is, “A loving God knows best.” God has higher plans for him to sing His praises and pray for his dear country, Dominica and nationals and the rest of the world.
There is a saying, “God protects us from something worst than death”, as also the song, “Que Sera, Sera, the future’s not ours you see.” On that inevitable day the whys and wherefores will be truthfully revealed to us.
May God grant his grieving family and others with the strength which only comes from him to cope with his passing. God bless you. My prayers are with you.
