EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

 

Our Client, a leading corporate citizen, is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Financial Controller.

 

The core function for the position is:

To prepare financial management reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards; assure adherence to policies and procedures as outlined by the Company and report to Directors on a timely basis.

 

Qualifications, Experiences & Skills Required Include:

The successful applicant should possess professional qualifications in accounting from a recognised accounting body (ACCA, CGA or similar).

Have knowledge of computerised accounting software and be proficient in the Microsoft Suite and Point of Sale Systems.

Be able to develop, document and implement relevant Accounting policies to accommodate changes within the Company=s operations.

The individual should have at least (3) years relevant work experience and should be self motivated and committed with the ability to work under pressure in a competitive environment, and provide accurate and timely reports to management as required;

Conduct relevant training for staff when necessary and relate well with management;

He/she should have proven ability to perform in the capacity of a Financial Controller with responsibility for the active supervision and motivation of staff;

Experience in the Retail/Wholesale and Distributive Industry is also required.

 

Remuneration Package will be commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – ACCOUNTS MANAGER

 

Our Client, a leading corporate citizen, requires for immediate employment one dedicated individual for the position of Accounts Manager.

 

Qualifications:

!        Professional Level Student of a recognised accounting body e.g. CGA, ACCA, CMA or CA or other similar qualification and must have experience in the Retail/Wholesale and Distributive Industry.

!        Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Accountant.  Experience in QuickBooks, and Point of Sale Systems would be a distinct advantage.

!        Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels.

!        Should be self motivated and committed with the ability to work under pressure in a competitive environment.

 

Duties:

!        Supervise accounts staff.

!        Prepare monthly and year end financial reports and adhere to strict reporting deadlines.

!        Report directly to the General Manager.
