Rotary Club Secondary Schools Essay Competition

As part of the 4Rs Environmental Project aimed at reducing the use of plastics on the island, the Rotary Club of Dominica invites students from all secondary schools on the island to participate in an essay competition.

This competition is open to students in forms 1, 2 and 3.  Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners and a prize will also be given to the school attended by the 1st place winner.   Each school is expected to submit only one essay.

The title of the essay is “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Reclaim – How can this benefit the Dominican Economy”.  The essay should be 500 words long and should be typed.  The deadline for submission of the essay is Friday October 19th 2012.  The prizes will be given during the Independence Schools Rally.
