There’s a saying that true love is always worth fighting for.
Well, that’s the message that Dominican artist, Asher Thomas, is promoting in his new video entitled “Closest Friend.”
Thomas explained that the song is based on a true story and tells the story of a young man who lost his lover and is willing to do anything to get her back.
“The story line of the video shows me having an everyday relationship with the one I care about but then me and her end up in an altercation and there is some jealousy and she leaves. The video then shows me trying to win her back,” he explained.
The former Q Talent Search (QTS) winner added that the video was released last week-end but the song was released in 2011 as part of his QTS compilation CD. He said financial constraints caused the delay in releasing the video.
“Most of what I write is based on a true story. In the future I will be doing a video for “Heart Break.” It is also a single from Love and Pain (the title of his CD) but at the moment I am releasing singles,” Thomas stated.
He said “Closest Friend” was written by him and produced by Edmond “Trumpdada” Telemaque.
