ALIVE WORD: A call to repentance Part 1

The Richardsons

“GOD’s Message came to me: “Son of man, speak to your people. Tell them: “If I bring war on this land and the people take one of their citizens and make him their watchman, and if the watchman sees war coming and blows the trumpet, warning the people, then if anyone hears the sound of the trumpet and ignores it and war comes and takes him off, it’s his own fault. He heard the alarm, he ignored it–it’s his own fault. If he had listened, he would have saved his life.”  Ezekiel 33:1-5 (The Message Bible)   —

People of the Caribbean God is calling us at this time to REPENT!  The devil is out to kill, steal and destroy.  The only true safety we have is in Jesus Christ who came to give us abundant life.

The word of God says in Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”   Oh Caribbean let us stop calling evil good and good evil.  “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.”  Jonah 1:2  “And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.  And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them…”  Genesis 6:12,13  … water pouring from heaven – the waves of the sea rising   –  the isles of the Caribbean just shaking, shaking, shaking … It is time for us to REPENT!!!

Oh Church in the Caribbean, WAKE UP!!!  Arise, put off your slumber and repent!!!  “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”  1 Peter 4:17  I hear the spirit of the Lord saying “He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.”  Mark 7:6   Judgment has begun in the house of the Lord.  “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”  1 Peter 4:17  Repent today and escape the judgment of God.

Church in the Caribbean have we ‘taken our ease’ because of materialism, pride, positions and possessions?  “And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.”  Luke 12:19  Are we caught up with our own agenda, busy with our own plans and trying to get ahead instead of walking in love, walking in the Holy Spirit and being obedient to the will and the Word of the Lord?  Are we fulfilling the command to preach the gospel and not only share the Word of God but live the Word of God?  It is time for us to REPENT!!!

This is the hour and the time for us to wear garments of salvation and robe(s) of righteousness.  Religion and self-righteousness or church membership will not get us into heaven; our hearts must be right with God.  People of the Caribbean let us GET DOWN VOLUNTARILY ON OUR KNEES and REPENT NOW, lest we be BROUGHT TO OUR KNEES.  Let us humble ourselves and pray, seek the face of God and turn from our wicked ways – that we may hear from heaven and God may heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

It should be a call now for people to think, wake up from the domination of religion, Pastors, and the whole lot of people professing to be agents of truth telling people what they need to be doing to know God quoting the bible freely as their reference to truth. They’re always quick to tell people what they need to do to know God and they always have the answers as to what should be done.

When you call for repentance, it is nothing new, this goes back to old time religion, using fear and guilt to manipulate people. The institutions of religions needs more repentance, for all the atrocities they have done to mankind in the name of God, that is where the repentance should come from. It is not only writing nice words and quoting the bible telling people what they need to do, it is more than that.

It is time we see religion for what it stands for, with all it;s agents proposing to know the truth and not even close to it. but lies packaged as truth, thinking they have the authority given to them to dispense truth telling people what they need to do.
