A matter of trust

Ministers Wilbert & Jackie Richardson

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3:5.

Today we feel led to encourage you to trust God. No matter what you’re facing right now, trust God whole-heartedly. Cast the entire situation on Him and leave it to Him. It’s easy sometimes to put your trust and confidence in people, but people are not perfect, so they will let you down. God, on the other hand, can always be trusted. Look at the track record of our God; God is truly a faithful God.

Think of all the situations from which God delivered you last year and the many ways He came through for you. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Trust Him. God isn’t man, and he cannot lie. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. He has promised not to give you more than you’re able to bear. He has promised to make a way in the wilderness and provide streams in the desert. Trust God. He is true to His Word.

Don’t waste time trying to figure out how God is going to come through. Rest in Him, allow His peace to reign in you, and just watch Him birth the miracle. God’s ways are beyond our ways and His thoughts are beyond our thoughts. He knows, He sees, He understands, and He is Jehovah Jireh, your provider.

The challenge you’re facing may have been put there by the enemy to tempt you to take your eyes off what God is doing in your life. You cannot afford to lose focus. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Remember all that you declared when this year began. Remember all that you’re believing God for. God is still God. Allow Him to be God all by himself.

Trust God, trust God, trust God. God will not allow you to be made ashamed; God will not allow your enemies to triumph over you. God will not allow you or your seed to beg bread. God is a loving Father and a faithful God.

Trust God today. He is sure to come through for you. “Trust in the Lord, and do good; …commit your ways to the Lord, Trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass” (Proverbs 37:3, 5).

Prayer: Dear God in the name of Jesus Christ we thank you today for your love, your grace and your faithfulness to us.  We ask you today to help us to realize that nothing happens to us your children unless it first passes through your hands.  Help us Lord to put our trust and our confidence in you and to allow you to take full control of our lives.  Lord we surrender all to you today and we pray that as we submit our will to You, You will direct our path.  Lord we thank you and praise you in Jesus name, amen.

Sweets- I am sorry that you don't understand. Good manners says tha tyou don't talk to people with your shades on- your eyes must be seen:
1: to indentify who you are – people need to know who is speaking
    2. to show your sincerity and honesty
    3. your eyes is the window to your soul
