ALIVE WORD: Be encouraged, God is with you

By Ministers Wilbert and Jackie Richardson

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” Psalm 27:14

One of the biggest weapons that the enemy is using today against the body of Christ is the spirit of discouragement. Many Christians are so discouraged that it is actually crippling them in their walk with the Lord. They are frustrated, hopeless and have lost their joy in the Lord.

Discouragement is not from God. It is sent to make you give up and give in. It is sent to hinder you from advancing in God. It is sent to prevent you from reaching your destiny. God wants to remind someone today that He does not take vacations and He does not have amnesia. God has promised you much. He has spoken much into your life and He cannot lie. All that God has promised you will come to pass if you will only trust Him and wait on Him.

No matter what you are going through or what is coming against you, it is not too big or too hard for God. Yes, the pressure is on and you may sometimes feel like you are going to die before you get out of it but know this day that God is with you.

Remind yourself today of who you are in Jesus Christ. You are His child and He is not a delinquent Father. He takes excellent care of all His children. In the midst of your fire, in the midst of your pain, in the midst of your storm, in the midst of your suffering, believe the promises of God. Whether the situation is one sent from the enemy or one that God has allowed, God knows how to cause it to work together for your good.

Be encouraged today, God is on your side. God has made a way for you. He has cleared a path. He knows the way out. He is the light in your dark tunnel. He is the stream in your desert.

Do not get tired of waiting on God for your blessings to manifest. “Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land.” Psalm 37:34a. God is always on time. It may seem sometimes that He is late or that He is slow but He is always on time. While you wait on God, be of good courage. Rely on the strength of the Lord. God is faithful and He will not allow you to be tempted above what you can bear. Even better than that, He is right there with you. It may seem at times that He is not there but He is there. Lean on Him, find comfort in Him, have faith in Him.

For someone today, you have cried many tears, both on the outside and on the inside but be encouraged today. “…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 Don’t give up now, your breakthrough is near. Be encouraged today beloved, God is with you. Do not give up on God. God has not given up on you. Wait on the Lord.

Dear God in the name of Jesus Christ, we your children thank you today for the promises that You have made to us in Your Word.  We thank you that you are God who cannot lie.  We bind every spirit of discouragement today in the name of Jesus Christ and we ask you to full our entire being with your joy which gives us strength.  Help us to be mindful that you will never give us more than we can bear.  Lord we thank you for always being with us no matter what we face in life.  Thank you Lord for encouraging those who are discouraged today in Jesus name, amen.

@Expat: Don’t be so angry. Receive the encouragement, a word well spoken and in season is better than the companionship of a fool.

Stop spouting all this rubbish about god and strive to help your fellow citizens by being a better person in the community your serve. There are many who could do with an hour of companionship or goodwill rather than this googlepop rubbish you preach on eternal salvation and damnation.
