ALIVE WORD: Don’t be staggering because of unbelief! (Part 2)

Ministers Wilbert and Jacqueline Richardson

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”   Romans 4:19-21

When God told Abraham that he would be the father of many nations and Sarah the mother of many nations they laughed because it seemed very unlikely in the natural.  After Sarah laughed the question was asked in Genesis 18:14 “Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

At the appointed time God kept His promise to Abraham and in Genesis 21:1 it states “And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.”  Notice something significant in verse 2 “For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.”  It happened at God’s set time.

Abraham and Sarah continued doing what they needed to do as they waited on the Lord for the promise.  They had their initial bout of laughter but both of them realized that God was not joking so they quickly got in line.  We see no where they continued fussing or questioning God as to whether or not He would do what He promised.  They knew that once God said it was so, it was so.

Sometimes when God gives a promise or speaks a word, some people park up under that ‘promise tree’ waiting and murmuring; and before you know it they begin to stagger, forgetting that their lives need to continue and their work for God need to continue until that appointed time that the promise would manifest.  In Genesis 20:17 it states “So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.”  I am pretty sure that when Abraham was praying for the house of Abimelech and asking God to remove the bareness from them he also remembered the promise that God gave him and Sarah, but that did not stop him.  In the next chapter is when we see God causing Sarah to conceive.

Look at the strategy of the enemy in the case of God’s promise to Abraham and Sarah.  Just before the appointed time, Sarah was given to Abimelech to be his wife but God intervened and gave Sarah back to Abraham or the story would have been very much different.  Sometimes the same thing happens before God’s appointed time for us; the enemy tries to intercept the promise but once we are faithful to God He knows how to reverse the plans of the enemy and give us victory.

Sometimes God places us in situations where we need to pray earnestly and believe God with others for the very thing that God has promised us and be able to rejoice with them when God comes through for them.  Some Christians find this very hard to do but it paves the way to our blessings.

God is calling all the PROMISE WAIT-ERS to SOBER UP.  Stop sipping from that cup of unbelief or you will begin to stagger.  You take a sip today and you hear “Maybe I misunderstood what God said to me” and your knees stagger, take another sip and you hear “Well it look like God coming through for everyone else except me” your other knee stagger, then you drink half the glass and your whole head begin to spin and you hear yourself saying “I should have known that those great things were not going to happen for me!”

If you have been drinking that cup of unbelief don’t just put it down because you may be tempted to take it back up.  Destroy it using your faith, using the Word of God.  Decree and declare the Word and if you have to pray “Lord I believe, help thou my unbelief!

Some of you are at the brink of your appointed time.  You are at the brink of the time that God told you He would bless you.  Don’t mess it up now, don’t begin to stagger!  What has God promised you?  Until the appointed time, build your faith, and give God glory.  Be like Abraham, become fully persuaded that because God cannot lie, one you believe Him, His promises to you are sure.

BE SOBER, BE SOBER, BE SOBER FOR GOD IS ABOUT TO GIVE YOU THE PROMISE!

    To Lizavier4Jesus

Wow, here you go again with some of your strange Religious beliefs and passing them as truths. i do not think you really understand what you are saying with some of the statements you have made. Your understanding of the the Adan and Eve story shows how dogmatic you are with your religious beliefs believing such absurdities, but what makes it more ludicrous is when you tie it into some absolute truth which everyone should accept and believe. What you believe about the Adam and Eve story that is your belief, you have a right to believe what ever you want, as I have always told but what is the nonsense you are talking about when you make the statement “Well the majority of human beings do not know that they continue to exist in their death condition, of which Adam and Eve brought them into this world, because Satan is still doing havoc in their minds.” isn’t that nonsensical what you are saying. I will tell you this one of the most unpardonable sins is when people refuse or deliberately shy away from the truth, or do not seek knowledge. The noblest of occupations is to search for truth and not dogma. Truth gives man the greatest power for good. Truth is sword and shield. It is the sacred light of the soul.

What God would create man naked put him in a Garden, and tell him not to eat from the tree
of knowledge and the tree of Good and evil, but what makes it more strange, is that after this the same God says quote Genesises3 :22 “And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” The question i would like to ask you who is us as in one of us, and why is God scared to find out the Man he has created is finally able to know the difference between good and evil, also Adam did not die immediately but went on to live 130 years and have children. Let us back track a little and read genesis 1:26 Then God said Come “Let us make man in our image and our likeness.” what is that about God saying making man in our image ” and “our likeness”? that does not sound like a single God. Now here is a question i got for you, where did Cain find a wife after he was kicked out of the Garden? it was supposedly Four people on the Earth Adam, Eve their two sons Cain Abel but then he was able to find a wife in the land of Nod, strange. Why is it we all assume the Serpent with Satan? just curious when Jesus was sending out his apostles he said quote Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves”, Now here you have Jesus using the word serpent. Do we make reference to Satan? I’m quoting from the Kings James version, some Bible version use the word Snake instead of the Serpent.

There is so much i would like to say about the Man called Abraham since you mentioned him talking about faith but i will live that for some other time. One of the things that really disturbs me is this whole paragraph you wrote dealing about flesh and the soul, what gibberish. Do you know what you are talking about. You sound like a confused person. Do you know what it is to undergo new birth, lift all curtains, withdraw all veils, scale all walls, explore all recesses, all heights, all depths for itself, in spite of church, Priest, Pastor or creed or book. Do you know the phrase ‘Know thy self ‘ Ignorance is the mother of mystery and misery. Finally one more of you absurdity quote “Faith in God motivates reverend “fear of God”. Fear of God motivates our virtue of humility and trust” What utter nonsense about to fear God. Why should i fear God, do you know what is to fear something or someone. Where has this nonsense comes from. Does fear of God really motivates our humility and trust? i do not think so, it only alienates us. God is not something to fear and be proud of it. Let us remember the mind which we discoverer within us is the mind that governs everything, this is the thing it self and recognize it simplicity.

Gary I will remind you again!

It is the demon seed of Satan in you, that is causing you to harrass me at every comment I make about God, whom I know by the power of His Holy Spirit, and His ways of Love, which I have learnt by faith, trust, humility, patience. and obedience.

Gary you are revealing to everyone on this news site, who believe in God and knows Him, that you walk about with an extremely destructive demon in you–that demon in you is trying to be more forceful against me, because God’s Holy Spirit in me posses a more dangerous threat to Satan, who has taken control of your mind. Otherwise why me, why not the Richardsons, who wrote the primary article?

Why don’t you acknowledge that you are allowing Satan to destroy you, the only way God will save you, and to reveal His way of Salvation to you, because of His blood in His Person, Jesus Christ?

Your sentiments do not affect my relationship with God, Gary! This means that it does matter what you think, knowing that your thoughts are vain and empty. Yes, “Satan is doing havoc in your mind” that is the truth that makes him angry, as through you he tries to attack me. But Satan has already been defeated Gary, and he wants you to share this defeat with him, which you are so stupidly allow him to do.

Who is commiting the “unpardonable” sin here? I speak from the message of God’s Words–the Holy Bible, and the wisdom and revelation of His Holy Spirit, by my faith. But you are trying to defile my message with insultive words and empty objections, as Satan has commanded you to do so.

You lack “Freedom” Gary, as Satan has bind your mind with a massive twine of confusion, doubt, pride, arrogance, jealousy. and envy. That is the frustration in you that is causing you to attack me the way you so often. This is your forth attack against me in just about one month–yes Gary I will keep a count of them for you, just in case you are looking for a medal in 2011.

Nonetheless, I see a good person in you, if you would only allow the Love of God, by your faith, to exorcise that demon spirit that is holding you captive through your mind.

Your truths seem to be coming from hell, I am sure that mine comes from heaven. You have no form of knowledge in you, otherwise you would know what Satan has planned to do to you, and you would try to allow God to teach you how to stop him.

Gary once more I will point out to you that you are one of those many human beings who still exist with a carnal mind–your spiritual death condition, separated from the wisdom and revelation of God’s Holy Spirit, and His Ways of Love–as Adam and Ever brought you into this world.

It is not God’s desire for you to continue and to leave this world in that state of spiritual death, but you have to give Him the go, to save you. God will not force you Gary, but He would be delighted if you would say “yes” to His Salvation through your faith in the Son, God’s Person, Jesus Christ.

Yes Gary, Adam and Eve continued in their physical form; to reproduce sons and daughters in that same physical form. Adam existed in that physical form for 930 years–not 130 as you suggested–but for all of those years Adam was “spiritually dead”, and he brought forth his children in that same spiritual death condition from generation to generation right down to the generation that you and I live in today.

Life is in the Spirit Gary, but it is not I who can convince you of that truth; “you must be born again” your connection to God’s Holy Spirit, through your conscience, who will reveal those truths to your mind, which then enters it renewal mode.

Yes Gary, I know what it means to undergo a “new birth” as I know this birth in my spirit, which of course, you may never be able to comprehend if you continue with the mentality of your mind. You are simply speaking from human wisdom and philosopy; well trained through the tactics of Satan. There is nothing that I do not understanding about the reason you are the way you are Gary.

I leave you with this quote, once more, as spoken in the Holy Bible: “But the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing–dying slowly through the control of the carnal mind–but to us who are being saved it is the Power of God” 1st. Corinthians 1: 18

Gary, between you and me, those who are perishing are those with your mentality, and you, yourself. But those who are being saved to know the Power of God are those who are like me–point blank. if you are stupid enough to think that you are actually hurting me through your continuous harrassment, I really feel sorry for you. For I know where I am going after my days in this world are over, how about you, do have that assurance? You must know before the time comes for you to leave; but be sure that you are on the positive side of that knowlege. Have a good day!

And most often, we fail to see God’s promise manifesting in our lives because we disobey His commands.

Just as in the beginning: God told Adam and Eve they would die, should they eat the fruit of the forbidden tree. Satan came and told Eve: “you will not die”; she believed Satan and she disobeyed God. Genesis chapter 3

Did Adam and Eve not die? Well the majority of human beings do not know that they continue to exist in their death condition, of which Adam and Eve brought them into this world, because Satan is still doing havoc in their minds. Jesus has counseled us: “You must be born again of Water and the Spirit. Flesh and gives birth to flesh, but Spirit gives birth to spirit.” John chapter 3

People, your fleshly state is mortal, meaning it is a dead state. Life, imortality, exist through the state of Love–Light, in Spirit and Truth. You must undergo a “new birth”–Your dead soul must become Light–the state of Love, which is of Eternal Spirit, God Almighty. In other words you must allow God’s Holy Spirit-Love-to sanctify or cleanse your mind, to remove the rubbish of Satan, that you might flourish with the Mind of God, by faith in His Person, Jesus Christ. That mode gradually changes you from your attitude and conducts of conformity, in this world–your process and products of a carnal mind; to a transformed state–your discipline and training of Love, Life, controlled by a renewed mind–the Mind of God, in Jesus Christ. This must happen to you before your days in this world comes to an end.

Obedience is one of the first character of Love that we cannot survive without. Hear Jesus’ own declaration saying: “Nevertheless, not my will, but Yours, be done” Luke 22: 42

Jesus–the Son in the flesh–though He was fully God in the Spirit, chose not to do what pleased Him, as He humbled Himself to “obey” and to do the Will of the Eternal Spirit, Almighty God, whom He called Father. That was the only He could earn the reward of “reconciliation” that God wants with us-human beings who are separated from His Holiness–because He loves us so much.

The same nature of obedience is seen in “Abraham”, whom the Richardsons have mentioned in the article.

God called Abraham to go up to a mountain to sacrifice his son, Isaac–his only son through his wife Sarah–as a burnt offering to Him. I can imagine the many reasons Abraham would have questioned, or simply disobey that command of God.

But Abraham did not. According to the Holy Bible, Abraham took his son; went up to the mountain to prepare an Altar for the sacrificed offering just as God had commanded him to do so. I see that Abraham had a hope in his mind–meaning that he would prefer, not to put his own to the slaughter–but he continued in obedience to God.

God did not want Abraham to put Isaac to the slaughter either; but He needed to teach Abraham how to apply faith. Faith, in Abraham, would influence him to speak his hope aloud, which is what God wants us to do.

When we have hope, for the betterness of our lives, we must speak those hope, by our word of faith, that God will manifest them in our lives, in their distinctive forms. Are you sick? Speak the words of healing for your body, by faith, and even before you decide you must visit a doctor, you will find that your body is free of that sickness. The examples are on a “list” that seem almost endless; I could never finish writing them down for you here.

God caused Abraham to speak the words of his hope for a sacrifice of burnt offering, when He prompted Isaac to ask him: “Where is the lamb for the burnt offering? Abraham answered his son saying: My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering”. Genesis 22: 8

This scripture is not in the Holy Bible as an empty talk–meaning that Abraham was simply keeping from Isaac, what was about to happen to him. God’s Word is Holy. But a talk like Abraham’s anwer to Isaac, would be an example lying, misleading, and betraying, as Isaac had asked his father an innocent question. That answer from Abraham to Isaac is a way by which God wants us to know that without faith in Him, His Love and His Ways of Love can never be born in us.

Abraham continued through obedience to God, even if he desired a true lamb for the sacrifice offering,as we heard him speak of it, up to the point where he had his arm raised with the slaughter knife, to sleigh the body of his beloved son, for a sacrifice of burnt offering to God Almighty.

God would not betray Abraham’s trust, humility and obedience, not to manifest his hope. As Abraham was about to release the slaughter knife into his son’s body, God called out to him. The voice of God came to Abraham through His Angel saying:

“Abraham, Abraham, do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you “fear God”, since you have not withheld your son, your only son from Me. And Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the place “God will provide” Genesis 22: 11-14

Faith in God motivates reverend “fear of God”. Fear of God motivates our virtue of humility and trust; humility and trust flourish our character of obedience to God’s command. With those natures in tact, our only desire is to “Give God the Glory”. Giving glory to God is the reason He allowed us to exist in this world; we will need His promises to give Him the Glory, that is the reason God will not fail us.

But the question still remains: Do we believe, to receive and conceive, that the fruits of Life might come forth, and to demonstrate them through our attitude and conducts: “For the glory of God?” I believe that is the question we need to focus on, as we read the message of the Richardsons in the above article.

God bless those of you, who will take time to read this post, alond with what the Richardsons have written above. I am indeed, Elizabeth Lina Xavier; but I like to be called “Liz!”
