DEAR BELLA: My hairdresser is a thief

Bella,
My hair dresser in the north of the island has been stealing peoples weave especially when they come to sew in the expensive Brazilian and Indian Remy weaves.
I know this because she is my friend and she confessed.
When she sew in weaves she would take two rows and slip them in her drawer.
Of course, the clients are sitting there most times on their phones and their weaves are disappearing.
She uses a technique and sews it with a lot of space.  Then she would say the entire bundles were placed in the hair.
I don’t like that and I asked her to stop but she thinks it’s ok because she said anybody that can put a $500 weave on their head can afford to lose some.
She eventually piled up enough weave to get her own hair done.
Bella these hair are expensive and dishonesty isnt good.
What do you think I should do?
Unhappy

Hello unhappy,
Well simply put, your hair dresser is a thief and thieves can get themselves into trouble with the law.
Maybe if you threaten to tell her clients what she has been up to, that might change her actions.
And if you do decide to do that, you don’t have proof. It could just be another case of she said, she said.
I say speak to her again. Let her know the seriousness of her actions.
I don’t know if she realises that her business will not prosper if she continues to operate like that.
Bella

SMH. I would only come to Bella about this regarding my friend and giving her location if I wanted to alert the public and mess her up or take some kind of revenge. Thats not friendship.

What happened to your natural hair? It’s like you people have no use for your hair except to cover it with a wig, or attach a weave to it.

Fire burn weave. all you woman too lazy to take your time and take care of yourselves. The rest of you hate yourselves and the texture of your black people hair. Go ahead and take hair from other people head and sew on yours like a clown. all the side of your head dont have hair, all your hair breaking, you steady patting your head and digging your scalp. Meanwhile the chinese and indians making millions on you fools who hate yourselves. their excuse “oh is just a little change, to look different” most of th time you all look absolutely dumb, expecially when the hair texture doesnt match your skin and features. then there’s the smell and the constant spraying. i personally dont want any woman that steady in weave or them nonsense wig. Fire burn that. Appreciate yourself and love yourselves and take time to take care of yourselves instead of buying other people hair to wear on your head like a clown.

Stop hating rasta. Sometimes and most times the woman you see with weave is suffering from some deficiency some with cancer which medications drop the hair. So hold your brakes and stop the criticism.

Most times? Fella where you living? i know about alopecia, i know about cancer, i understand that even perming your hair can cause it to drop. But many of these women destroy their hair with weave, then buy MORE weave to try and fix the problem, making it worse. i know about all these cases and the like. So you yourself Watching, stop playing soutiway and encouraging our black women who im sure majority have healthy heads of hair that they refuse to take care of in the process of making chinese people and indian people rich, while they laugh at us for doing so.

Wicked you wicked watching, most of them? Cancer patients hardly wear weaves they show off their bald head or use headwraps. Most of them want long white people hair. They have a new talk now “protective style” that’s the biggest lie! protecting from what? Damaging is more like it. 500-1000 for fake hair when its cheaper to deal with your own. If its too thick and take too much time take a short sexy hair cut. The amount of time it takes to weave and braid twist and curl it. And stop bathing in gel to get kwaib hair. This needs to stop!!.

Some people have morals and values.. believe I t or not. I once had a friend who cheated in an exam and they told me.. it made me lose respect for them as they didn’t earn that through their own power. I can relate to this. I didn’t take it further than asking another friend what to do… maybe the poster had nobody else to ask.. when you have values and morals cheating and living is hard to stomach.

It takes no genius to figure out that you’re a thief as well and would do the same and even more. I would not be surprised to know that this is how u live your life; deceiving people
