NATURAL HEALING: The Chakra System

In the (Western) system of Reiki, we use what we refer to as the chakra system. Specifically, it is a system of energy gateways or vortexes which is located on the etheric body of the individual. The literal translation of the word “chakra” from Sanskrit is “wheel”. And if you guessed that the chakras resemble wheels or discs, then you would be right. The seven major chakras that we will concern ourselves with, are placed horizontally along the front (and corresponding back end) of your body. They are each responsible for a different spiritual, emotional, and physical aspect of your life. Think of them as “adaptors” of the Energy which is all around us, with which we are in constant exchange. The job of the Chakras, through various facets, is integration of the parts of our being into the whole.

As we move through life, we will activate or inhibit aspects of different chakras through experiences, emotions, attitudes which may or may not result in blockage of the respective chakras. What does this mean? Our chakras are sensitive to our experiences as humans in the world and are affected  by, and in turn affect, our life whether we are aware of them or not. Because each chakra is affiliated with different emotional, spiritual, psychological aptitudes which are then funneled into physical reality, understanding our chakras gives us an awareness of our life as whole beings.

Just like any physical part of our body which would need loving care and maintenance, our chakras need our mindfulness. When a particular chakra is blocked, we may experience frustration or lack of energy in the area of life which it affects. So, a very quick breakdown of each chakra and its function will follow in order to acquaint you with its basic properties.

Seventh /Crown Chakra (color: violet)-

Located on the top of the head. Provides a sense of connection to the Creator. When not functioning  optimally may experience grief, confusion about life.

Sixth/Brow or “Third Eye” Chakra (color: indigo)-

Located in between the eyes. Responsible for intuition, seeing Divine perfection in all things. Blockage may result in an imbalance in state of mind.

Fifth/Throat Chakra (color: blue)-

Located at base of throat. Rules our ability to express our truth through spoken word. Blockage results in lack of ability to verbalize our reality.

Fourth/Heart Chakra (color: green)-

Located near physical  heart. Center of heart/soul consciousness. Represents compassion, love in action. Blockage may indicate suppressed emotional trauma.

Third /Solar Plexus Chakra (color: yellow)-

Located at diaphragm. This is the seat of our personal power. Goal manifestation is channeled here.  Blockage results in lack of direction, boundaries.

Second/Sacral Chakra (color: orange)-

Located below navel. Center of creativity .Also represents procreation. Blockage may feel/look like a lack of adventure or curiosity.

First/Root Chakra (color: red)-

Located in area of the tailbone. Responsible for grounding us in our physical experiences. Blockage may manifest either as rigidity or lack of realism.

The simplest forms of chakra tuning are energy healing such as Reiki;  meditation  , and the practice of yoga. These ancient modalities are designed to align the energy in our physical bodies to our subtle energetic fields and, ultimately to Universal energy which flows through and around all of creation. The goal and purpose of consistent practice is to integrate our various aspects into a harmonious whole. In this state, balance exists and we are not just disease-free, but healthy.

One generic exercise which helps to balance chakra energy is flooding yourself with each of the colors associated with the chakras. So, going through the list above you would begin with red, then orange…and so on till you get to violet. You could picture yourself moving from room to room where everything in each room is made of one of the colors. You could also picture yourself on a ladder and as you step on each rung, the color floods you. Or you could sit quietly and imagine each color infusing you as you breathe deeply. Make sure you visualize every part of yourself becoming this color.

This article’s goal was to outline chakra functioning on a very basic level. If it has whet your appetite, one way which we could develop and build on this theme is to give a more in-depth treatment of each chakra along with more specific exercises to address various issues affiliated with the respective chakra. Let me know in the comments whether such a series of articles will be of service to you. I am looking forward to your feedback!

@Liz4jesus; all you are doing is quoting scripture. Nothing of substance to bring englightenment as to your own history as a black person. We need to know who we are as a people and stop accepting without questioning the book which kings james wrote. The slave masters have done a number on own minds and it is hard to be deivered from that mental slavery. Stop beiieving in these cinderella stories that do not exist. I can’t be like you because I do not think like you. We are all born free but we let religion enslave us.

      @Out of the South

I quote Scriptures with extensions to let you know what they mean pertaining to Life, if at all you desire to have Life in you.

What is enlightenment to you, if not the boost to thrive in the Life of Love, which you can only receive from God, your Creator, by your faith or through His medium?

Well just don’t read what I write, when you see it on the board; I have said it already–your are enslaved through the production of your carnal, I free and way off in the process of mind renewal, that is why you have no understanding of the words i write.

So just continue to embrace the counsel of human beings like yourself, I want none of it, and I am not responsible to give account on your behalf when that days comes.

      • October 2, 2012

By the way I should have told you that I know exactly who I am. And I think it is quite foolish for people to go searching for who they are in the year 2012.

I don’t know about you, but my concern is about Life, and the only Person who givee me assurance of Life in Jesus Christ, by my faith. I have freedom in Jesus Christ, what more do I have to search for–which I will never find to be better than what I have and who I am today?

Lmao at all the naruto comments and I thought I was going to be original and make a quip about that lol.

Anyway on a serious note this, as another commenter said, is pretty much mysticism, although it has a hint of truth to it.

In reality this is just a visual aid to meditation – meditation in turn being an abstraction of complex mental processes that helps the mind and body to function properly. It’s just unfortunate that these techniques were developed before we discovered the various processes that affect the body on a chemical level. Simple substances that react to various thought patterns ( a very complex system that would take days to explain to anyone without prior knowledge) can affect, quite profoundly, our bodily functions especially in the cerebral and thus cognitive aspects.

People who practise meditation in its various forms (intense prayer associated with judeo-christian and islamic religions being one of them) are usually more focused, clear minded, healthier etc. However because of ignorance and misinformation they attribute it to some higher power.

The fact is that I have employed some of these techniques but without attributing any kind of mystical or spiritual property to it and simply accepting it as the scientific fact of being in control of my mind and body. I have experienced the results, the same results that people with some kind of religious or spiritual/mystical conviction think is the work of some unseen force or higher power.

You know what? All this religious talk can do nothing for us. I used to believe just like you, Lizavier4Jesus, until I read more about African history and learned that the entire bible is just a story book that some Europeans put together to deceive us as an African people so that we would never know our true and original history. Our history, and that includes our spirituality, has been written in stone in the pyramids in Egypt and has been copied by the Europeans, who twisted the story and gave us their bible, which we never questioned but only accepted as “the holy word of god.” We have been such a gullible people, just as we were taught that Christopher Columbus discovered the “new” world. These Europeans have stolen from us what we do not even know of because we have accepted what they have told us to be true. We have never questioned the authenticity of the bible because we were told not to do so. Why do we have a mind? Are we not all free thinkers? That’s what religion does to us. It keeps us in a box. It locks up our minds so that we can’t read books apart from the bible.
We as a people have to do our own research and stop depending on these Europeans because they will never tell us who we really are. They know of our greatness but it is sad that we don’t know, and don’t even want to know. Billy Graham, and all these other preachers are just continuing their legacy and that is to control our minds through religion. We give them our hard-earned money and we say that we are giving to God. If God, as the bible says, is a spirit, tell me, why does he need money? These evangelists live very big. They live in mansions with many rooms, drive the most expensive cars and a lot of them have their own jets. Stop wasting your money and help your loved-ones instead.
Do you realise the various religions in the world? If there is one God, as many believe, why is it that there are so many religions and no one gets along? My friends, religion has been used to confuse us and have us divided, especially us, as an African people.
We have always been a spiritual people but Christianity was used to enslave our forefathers and to keep us worshipping a white Jesus, who really never existed as far as history is concerned. This figure was made up at the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D. Constantine was the one behind this. Study History, my people, and not a white man’s book that will not, and cannot deliver us as people.
We were also told that the Jews are God’s chosen people but did we know that they were involved in slavery as well?
It is high time that we wake up and stop accepting things at face value. The truth about the Europeans and who they really are is available and can be read by one of the authors named Michael Bradley. The book is called The Iceman’s Inheritance. Another author, Walter Williams, wrote the book, “The Historical Origin of Christianity.” We don’t need religion. What we need is emancipation from mental slavery.
The truth offends so I know a lot of people will be mad at what I have written. Guess what. It is time that the truth be made known.

People find it hard to accept truth when it is inconvenient. If someone had won the lottery and you told that to them they would find no problem, because it is convenient to them. However if some loved one were to unfortunately perish in some accident they would find that hard to believe and would have to have it proven to them.

This is the ideology upon which religion is based. This is why there are parts in the bible specifically mandating the indoctrinating of children at a young age and why you have christians beating their children to go church or to stop from falling asleep when the preacher starts talking about hell for the 100th time. They need children to be comfortable with the various key concepts of religion (higher powers, conviction, obligations, guilt etc) from an early age so that when they get older it’s harder to let go. This is why you will find people who will defend their religion to the death even if they have no rational concept of what it really is about.

It’s a good thing that as a child among the bible stories and other religious stuff I found books on history, dinosaurs, basic biology, earth sciences, mechanics etc so that I had a good enough base to rationalize which made more sense.

      @out of the South

I could write 10 times the amount you have written above to tell you why I know you have never “believed” like me–but I will simple say it again: That you have never in a day of your existence on this earth “believed like me”.

All you have done above is to speak about the existence of your flesh–the part of you that only human beings like yourself can help you to understand–still for all they make a lot of mistakes in doing so.

You continue to exist with the untrained state of your mind, which prompts you to think and function like the mass of natural people, but of course, for you are one of them.

Unfortunately, according to the Word of God: “The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”. And that can be a tragic outcome if you people will not enter the process of regeneration by your faith.

How could you have done all the research that you have mentioned above if they did not come from someone else–the same human wisdom and philosophy of another person or other people of flesh and bones like yourself?

Were you there when those information were supposed to be approved and piled up, to go into circulation; that you can declare they are true–beyond a reasonable doubt? Of course not!

But you have allowed their brainwashing and mind-crashing counsel, the reason you never entered into Life with God Almighty by your faith and through God’s Person of Love–Jesus Christ–how can you claim to have “believed like me”?

Well I have no human convictions, because God Almighty is of Spirit and Truth, and it is by Holy Spirit from my conscience that I receive the “facts of Life”–believe it or not!

The apostle Paul is my primary conviction, that Holy Spirit alone can teach a human being, because of their faith. Paul tells us that no one taught Him except Holy Spirit–he has proved that truth in the letters to the different churhes of the Gentiles–whom God called him to teach and preach the Gospel of Truth to them.

God continues to appoint human beings who are humble, trustful, and obedient in their ways to bring conviction to people like me, they have no choice but to confirm to me and others like me, because God wills them to do so. Jesus told us: You will know them by their words, or by their fruits. He blesses us with discernment to do so.

It was Billy Graham who said that Jesus used
“physical illustrations” to reveal “Spiritual Truths”. And that is factual, for there are loads of them in the Holy Bible.

Of course, not many of us will understand this statement idea of Billy Graham, unless we are the spiritually sensitive persons. You may now be asking me what is my point?

My point is that I see the same “truth” in those discussions of “natural healing” from the first one to this one written above–especially that I believe that the shape or state of the mind is the “vital importance or theme” throughout those discussions. For without that healthy frame of mind, Life is just an illusion, for we are indeed dead as s sleeping bat, both “spiritually” and “physically”.

And so, in us human beings, the Mind exist in one of two states or frame–it is either the Mind is carnal, being an enemy of our God of Life.

That mind in its carnal condition is the reason we are sinful, we are always sick and just waiting to be consumed, by those ailments, in our physical body. We are plagued with all the toil and strife, snares, discord, and disdain, of this world, because of the carnal state of our mind.

The other state of mind is the that which is in its renewal process, gradually being trained and disciplined to respond to the direction of our Living God, by the power of gift of Holy Spirit, when God is connected to us, because of our faith in Him, and the ability of His humble servants.

The renewal of the mind, brings gradual transformation of the physical body, until it has reached what I would call the state of equilibrium–which is also the kind of balance that Dr. John spoke about last week.

Perhaps the writers of these messages do not want to go into the concrete details of Life in the Spirit, which was the theme in Jesus’ discussions–I would understand their reasons not to do so.

But it is clear to me: that those messages reveal the same concept in the Bible of Jesus using
“physical illustrations” to speak or reveal “spiritual truth”– even if the messages are entitled “natural healing”–by the different modes or practices.

And for sure, as a person who is spiritually sensitive, I understand that “Life” is perfect–but don’t anyone tell me that is not so, it is your attitude and conduct that causes all the state of imperfection, which you are experiencing through your days in this world. You choose by your ability of “free will” from God; He will not force His good, acceptable, and perfect will, on you.

However, it is the perfect form of Life which brings the “physical body” to exist with
“wholeness and completion” the state where the mind is in “perfect harmony” with
“conscience” where our “God of Life” lives in us, when He is connected to us by the power of Holy Spirit.

And so this “mind” directs the physical body to gradually cling to “Life” the “perfect balance which Dr. John spoke about in her message of last week. I will finish this off in my next input.

    • September 30, 2012

“Just like any part of our physical body which would need loving care and maintenance, our chakras needs mindfulness”.

There it is again! The word is formed from its founder, and so we have “Mindfulness” And so, it has to be that without the healthy frame of Mind we cannot have the positive effects of Chakras; and the positive effects of chakras is the fulfilment of our Spiritual goal or achieves–the goal or achieves which bring the “balsnce” of Life and good health to our physical body.

The suggestion that Chakras is effective through the state of “mindfulness”, is mentioned before the writer introduces the seven functions of Chakras, itself. You must be asking what am I getting at? Well here it is!

It is not a coincident that I discovered, the day before this news article above, was printed, that a sermon, speaking about the “perfection and completeness”, is also based on “seven” states or conditions, that mankind must arrive at in order to claim Life in Jesus Christ–otherwise that claim is a no, no!

But not only that those seven conditions of “perfection and completeness” are parallel to a few of the seven functions of chakras, or is mentioned in other messages here, on the subject of “Natural Healing, and the maintenance of good health in the physical body and Life, itself, in us”

Now, I do want to be so long, so I will have to do another input to finalized my contribution and feedback to this very interesting article above.

      • September 30, 2012

“When a particular Chakra is blocked we may experience frustration or lack of energy in the area of Life, which it affects”.

I am glad to read that the writer continues to refer to Life; of course I love to write the word with a capital “L”, Billy Graham also confirmed that habit of mine, when at one of his preachings he declared: Life with a capital “L!” I exploded with an exclamation of “Amen” Anyway Chakras, and its functions. is the subject here!

My intention is to tell you about the seven conditions of “Perfection and Completion” in Life with Jesus Christ, which is kind of parallel to the functions of Chakras, and the other modes of “natural healing”, which have been discussed in the past weeks. I have no doubt about that.

The difference is that we achieve those conditions by faith, whereas there is some kind of physical medium to help the effect of “natural healing” in the physical body. I still believe that faith is the basic effect either way.

But before I show you the comparisons, let me tell you that “perfection and completeness” in Jesus Christ reveals the condition in those who have accepted that “great healing” by their faith–and that healing condition in man is the products (like the Structure and Fruit of Life) which is satisfactory and final, permanent relationship between God and His chosen people. Of course, that insight is according to the source of my discovery, a few days ago–which spiritual wisdom and understanding easily clarified for me.

So what are the comparisons? First of all there is the condition of “Righteousness” in Jesus Christ, compared to the function which demands connection to the Creator in Chakras. Well our Creator is the Righteous God in Jesus Christ, is He not?

Secondly there is condition of “Peace and Joy” in Jesus Christ. If not so much of Joy, because so many of us have yet to know that condition, but the function of “Peace” has been referred to as the basis of “natural healing” in whatever form that healing is fulfilled.

Thirdly there is the condition of “Spiritual Light” in Jesus Christ, which is the clean or illuminating state of the mind, in harmony with Holy Spirit. The mind, now in Spiritual harmony or balance to respond to the control of Holy Spirit, therefore, is able to channel the energy of Life to the sleeping or dead soul, prompting its awakening to Live, feeding on the food of the Spirit–the words of Truth, which is the Bread of Life in Jesus Christ.

The apostle John tells us about Jesus Christ: In Him there was Life and the Life was the Light of men. John 1: 4

The condition of Spiritual Light in Jesus Christ, pertaining to what it does to the physical body with a dead soul, is compared to the functions of Chakras, in number 6, 5, and 4 as defined above.

Some of us ought to have learned about the power of words–both negative and positive–we read in Chakras 5 the ability of expression, speaking the words of “truth”

Well God has warned us that we do not have to climb mountains, neither do we have to go deep under, neither do we go to the farthest north or the south, but the Word of Life is in our mouth–so is the word of death.

Nonetheless we will need a “sound mind”–the mind which is in the process of training and discipline to conduct Life–which is of the Spirit.

For as human beings, we all entered this world with a carnal mind, as the offspring of Adam and Eve–who allowed God’s enemy to interfere as he defiled the “perfection and completeness” of God in them. That is the reason for the renewal. And so I will leave at that, again to avoid a lengthy contribution.

I would like this discussion on Chakras to continue, because of it nature, which so easily reveals the concept of “bonding” of the physical and the spritual bodies, through the effect of a sound mind–which is factual, of course.

As human beings, the majority of us, unfortunately, so many of us who have claimed to be Christians, have yet to understand the reason we claimed Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

For example my Bible study class, including my Pastor, insisted on claiming themselves to be sinners, in the presence of our Holy God–because they are human beings, and not thinking of themselves as a Church–who represents the Spiritual Body of Jesus Christ–His perfect Bride to be–and He is the head. How can a group of sinful people reprent the Body of Jesus Christ, who is perfect?

What in heaven’s name does it mean to “repent” if I should continue to accept the condemnation of my enemy and the enemy of God Almighty, and not the redemption in Jesus Christ, which He suffered and died to receive for my sake? Good grief!

So please bring on the discussion of the seven functions of Chakra one by one. Perhaps it will cause us people, who claim to believe in God, to wake up and smell the actual coffee brewing in our kitchen. For where there is Life, God must be present! We are yet to understand this “Truth”

Sometimes I’m bewildered by some of the things you
say and believe.I’m referring to your so called “seven” states or conditions, that mankind must arrive at in order to claim Life in Jesus Christ–otherwise that claim is a no, no!. You mentioned seven conditions, I’m curious, would like to see a list of those seven conditions.

        @Gary

At least I know you read some of my message, here. But why the bewilderment, nuh? You must have seen my comments time and again, what makes you think i would write those things, so very often, without the spiritual conviction–which is personal fulfillment in my Life?

I have already written this Scripture from the Bible, twice here, but the problem with everyone is the same–concerning their state of mind–so I will write it out for you as well: Here it is!

“For the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them; because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 1st. Corinthians 2: 14-15

That Scripture about should explain the reason for your state of “bewilderment” not only you either, it happens in those who wiil not apply faith in God, but faith is what brings them Life–and so they continue to be a natural man.

You are right, I did not least the Seven “conditions of perfection and completeness” in Life through Jesus Christ–I need to watch the length of my post.

So since you claim to be curious here they are, and also, there is a whole load of scriptures to support them; but then again my input would be much too long. So believe or not!

        (1) Righteousness. You ought to know how this happens in us, that is why I said above, otherwise our existence is of this world, and that is a no, no for us! Hehehehehehehe!

        (2) Peace How can you deny that truth, unless you have never felt its ecstasy? Well I have! And yes! There are Scriptures to back it up too.

        (3) Spiritual Light Well the apostle John tells us about Jesus Christ, first and foremost in his Gospel: In Him there was Life and the Life was the Light of men. John 14: 4

Before that reading Jesus tells His disciples: You are the “Light” of the world—Let your Light so shine before men that they may see your good works and to give the glory to your Father in Heaven Matthew 5: 13-16. I could go on and on!

        (4) Access to God. My extension for this one is that we attain this condition by our faith in the Spiritual Blood of Jesus Christ, which is the mercy and compassion of His Love. “Love is of God and all of those who love is “born” of God and knows God. 1st John 4: 7

        (5) Joy Of course this condition is not easy to experience, because it so easy for us to allow our human senses to overcome the production of God’s blessings of Joy in our minds. However some of us can experience that condition, having completely surrendered to Holy Spirit in our conscience–He has to let us know His presence in us, someway and somehow, we simply need the channel of faith by which we accept that “Truth”.

        (6) Hope That is the assurance in us that we are walking the journey of “perfection and completeness in Jesus Christ–Life is the Spirit. Those who reject that Living Hope of Jesus Christ, they are the fools, walking a journey through spiritual darkness and blindness, as so, their destiny is the treacherous pit, which has prepared for them, by we all know who.

        (7) Eternal Rest Well? How can we achieve the first six conditions without ending up with this final one–for according to apostle Paul, Eternal Rest is the reason we are running the race of Life. Yeah! “Etenal Rest” represents the “perfection and completeness” of Life–the Life that is of God’s Love through Jesus Christ.

Come to Me, all of you who labor and is carrying heavy loads and I will give you rest! Says Jesus Christ to us, who chooses Life in Him. I say Amen! Mathew 11: 28

That a reference is from the Bible does NOT make it a fact. Simply because you believe something does not make it immutably so. Of course, this chakra stuff is just as much a fantasy as most of the Bible – yet people still believe in it. As P.T.. Barnum said, there’s a sucker born every minute.

Would that be the same Barnum that came up with the concept of the Barnum effect? That people will attribute vague descriptions to their specific conditions making them believe that it was directed at them. This is one of the foundations of religion. Taking vague aspects of human nature to lure people into believing that they are each special in their own way.

        @Rich Waugh

It is not possible to speak spiritual things for you people to understand, due to the fact that you guys were born without the Spirit of God, meaning separated from His, and His Ways of Life in Love. You exist with a mind that not trained and disciplined to respond to God’s control.

That is the reason the Word of God says: “The natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; he cannot know them because they spiritual discerned 1st. Corinthians 2: 14

Consider your state of mind, so you can decide for yourself if that statement above in true, or false about your attitude and conducts.

Just to let you know that by your faith and through the state of your mind that can receive God’s control from your conscience, Life in you can become perfect and complete–believe it or not.

Why do you always have to use religious beliefs or concepts to validate things. The Universal Principle which governs and operates this Universe does not need from us religious beliefs and concepts to recognize it’s operation, period. You said somethings regarding the mind of Man quote “And so, in us human beings, the Mind exist in one of two states or frame–it is either the Mind is carnal, being an enemy of our God of Life” this shows your lack of understanding of the basic functions of the Human being which is vital.I use the word vital yes, because this thing called the mind is of great importance to us as Humans and most of us have no clue how it operates and function and it is the thing that can free us or keep us in bondage and make us sick or healthy. I would advise you to go get a true understanding as to how the mind operates and stop passing your religious beliefs as the truth regarding such matter.

      • October 2, 2012

Gary you have done this time and time again, confirming or speaking the wisdom of my mind, even if your true intention was to break me down–but you, of all persons can never do that.

Read your own words again and you will discover that you described the “mind” with two different states just as I said above, which of course, you did not understand–or you pretended not to understand, I do not care.

I will rewrite some of what you wrote above just slightly differently, but with the same meaning: (1) “The mind, depending on its state can make you “sick” or it can make you “healthy”. (2) The mind, depending on it state can make you “free” or it can make you feel in “bondage”.

Well is that not what I mean when I said the mind in human beings can exist in two states. Yes! The mind in its carnal state keeps you in bondage against the freedom of Life. Yes! The mind in its carnal state can make you “sick” and despaired even to the point of thinking suicide; because the mind in its carnal state can only accept the seed of the human senses, and most of those seeds are the seed of futility or death.

But the mind that is in training and discipline to respond to the things of Life–the commands of Love, from the God of Love, keeps us with sense of freedom; this mind keeps us in the sense of healthiness and the peacefulness of Life. So what is your point of objecting to what i wrote?

Okay, you claim not to know how the mind works–you even add “most of us”. Well not me! You will notice that I do not write anything about God, if I do not mention the mind, because it is by the channel of the mind that God takes control in us from conscience–I am a person who lives by the control of God–He is not about religion.

And so, I suggest that you stop talking your foolishness about religion, when respond to what I write, or don’t respond at all.

Anyway the Word of God said that the carnal mind is an enemy of God, that is the reason the man who continues in sole control of that state of mind is also a natural man, it is said that man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him.

So God is well aware of your state of mind and your nature of thoughts, word, and deed as natural man. He has no delight in your works, be sure of that. For one of those days you will have to give an account to Him–don’t say you did not know.

This, I’m afraid, is mystical nonsense. Chakras? Seriously? Show me a chakra under laboratory conditions and then we can talk–you know, since that’s how actual biological science is done. Unfortunately, the uneducated mystical-minded persons who like vague impressive-sounding answers from antiquity over less comforting scientific facts from today will disagree with me–but that’s to their own detriment.

How foolish and ignorant can you be to believe that for something to exist it must be seen on under microscope pity you with that kind of mind set, wallow in your ignorance and be proud of it. I’m sure that you use a cell phone, do you know how a cell Phone operates, can you see the radio waves under a microscope.Do you know the most powerful forces are unseen and what we see is the manifestation, the unseen things are the cause.Stop being proud of your ignorance masquerading as a so called three thinker which you not.

The whole concept of ‘seeing is believe’ is an unfortunate over-abstraction of the concept of physical, empirical observation and perception, one of the facets upon which laboratory science is based.

Where as we cannot see electromagnetic waves, we can perceive them through the instruments that are affected by them, the cell phone being one of them. They are testable and verifiable.

The unseen forces which mystical beliefs propose however cannot be verified or tested, and in the cases where they claim to be, there are already rational scientific explanations for them. The mind being one of the most common culprits.

It is amazing how we doubt that most of our irrational beliefs are by-products of our incredible cognitive abilities, yet we can so easily attribute them to some unseen force or higher power that can be neither tested nor proven.

Good grief! A rational mind among the mindless. You’re a breath of much-needed fresh air amid the intellectually challenged who generally blather here.

      @Freethinker

Once again you have failed to understand the concept of these messages, not realizing that they do not belong in the works of Science and its Laboratory to reveal the “Truth” in them. Your mind simply have to “accept” or “reject” this concept of healing, of couse you have chosen the latter.

And do not forget, as well, that the “Truth of Life and the functions of the physically body is yet to be “completely” proven by science and its laboratory.

Even in this news article, you should have read that the positive effects of Chakras will depend on the state of the Mind–Mindfulness, meaning awareness, alertness, tactfulness, willingness, and of course, acceptance or conception.

However, we cannot speak of the Mind if we do not touch on the functions of the Spirit; because the Mind, and it functions is for the sake of Life, and Life belong under control of the Spirit–that is why we are told that the Mind is the Battlefield, –like the war ground– of Life.

And so how do you work with the functions of the Mind at the “laboratory of science” to discover or to prove the “truth” and nothing but the
“truth” of Life? But those three Titles take the roots of the messages of “natural healing” They are “Mind”, “Spirit”, and “Body”.

The “Mind” in its perfect mode is able to respond to the control of “Spirit” from conscience. You will notice that the first function of Chakras in the above article demands the connection to the Creator, who is the Divine and Living God.

Compare my input above pertaining to “perfection and completeness” in Jesus Christ, which we achieve by faith. And the Word of God teaches us that we ought to live by faith and not by the sole control of our human senses.

Therefore, the feedings to the body through the channel of a “sound and healthy mind” meaning a mind that is not carnal, is the cause
“regeneration” of the body to exist in “perfection and completeness”–the Life in Love, which is of God Almighty, the Creator and Giver of Life to us, human beings.

The theme of the message in the article above reveals the same concept of Life, in that it does not leave out the work of the Creator, who is the Alpha and the Omega of Life and its “perfections”.

science has long been perceived as mysticism or magick by the ancients. today we can use science to confirm or deny up to a point. remember, we are limited in knowledge of the ancients and still learning more. we are also limited by our 5 senses that only tell us what our physical world is like. anything beyond that is non existent to us. keep an open mind though. just like you, i have no reason to believe this but still open to further enlightenment.
