Young upcoming Dominican Dancehall artist, Sherwin Prince aka “Fucian”, who very recently made his debut on stage in Saint-François, Guadeloupe, has released a music video dedicated to his deceased mother.

“I know that there is a lot of people out there who can relate to this song because I am definitely not the only one out there whose mother has passed on”.

“Fucian” is from Portsmouth and has been singing for a while but only formally started recording his material a little more than a year ago and has already been proving himself as an artist of interest.

He has produced songs like “Live Life n Praise”, “Tired Ah Di Ghetto Life”, “Wine” and according to him, the most popular among his French audience is “Coca Cola Gyal” which can be viewed on this youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/user/sherwinprince?feature=watch

@ ‘Natural Beauty’,MY GOSH!!!The young mans talent is his to do whatever he wishes, if he changes his tone of voice and interest and starts sounding ridiculous, it is then he will be imitating someone and you will have much more to say…Very well Mr.Prince, i wish you the very best…Beautiful tribute to you mom, you’re gonna make it , keep on striving forward…

      Totally agree

So true. I watched the video with my grandchildren and they asked if he was JAMAICAN.

Let me tell you, Dominicans are so “ASHAMED” of themselves that they tell people they are from EVERYWHERE other than DOMINICA. They have NO problem in talking bad about their birth place.

I have not problems explaining DOMINICA to everyone who has never heard of our Island.

AMEN!! I don’t even know why your comment got dislikes. Even guys like Colton T among others, you listen to these guys speak and sing and they DO NOT sound like Dominicans. They are forever imitating Jamaican and people jut fail to see it. This j/can girl who works with me (overseas) listened to a promotion of ice cream man by Colton and thought the dude was from j/ca …

@natural beauty – stop being negative. and be happy for a young man who is doing something positive with his life. There is so much violence (stabbing) happening nowadays that we have to give thanks and praise for the the good apples among the rotten ones.
