Answer: Firstly, if this was the case there would not be opposite sexes. We see clearly that the penis was made for the vagina. Secondly, to be politically correct, the statistics for 2010 for example on this very site failed to report the true status of homosexual people, rather they have rearranged the research into age groups, allowing homosexuals to be part of the heterosexual population thus one cannot get a true reflection of the statistics. 7. Due to gay prejudice they are afraid to come out to get tested for AIDS.
Answer: This is a big deception, don’t be fooled. In a court of law, testing and categorizing yourself as a homosexual is not sufficient proof for one to be charged with buggery. Heterosexuals, bisexuals and homosexuals are not coming to get tested due to other fears such as social discrimination if it is found that they are HIV positive, not necessarily for example a man having effeminate gesticulations. Whether one is a homosexual or a heterosexual, one it is known this person has AIDS they both go through the same discrimination and challenges which are wrong. 8. Only God can judge gays, not you!
Answer: This is even a more ridiculous myth. Let’s look at this practically. We are not allowed to judge actions or prosecute crimes then we should not have a court of law and no judgment should be carried for the thief etc.

It is natural and okay. Just recently in Trinidad, a 14 year old boy jumped in a taxi, the taxi man made a detour where this boy was raped by some grown men! Do you want this to happen to your son?
Say NO to legalizing homosexuality! One may say countries like Canada etc is okay, however, there is a Creator. Both in the Bible and the Quran agree that homosexuality is wrong. The first page of the Dominican Constitution states about the belief in Supreme God and the motto is “Apres Bondie c’est later.” Do we really mean these things or is this mere lip service? Oh my people, I am not suggesting to attack homosexuals when you see them on the road but this issue must be debated on a national level. This needs to be confronted legally, financially and intellectually. Also, there is judgment day after death so fear God for this is the beginning of wisdom.

thats a good topic and people should not be afraid to talk about it. I do not support gays, i think it is wrong but yet still you cannot tell people to leave their lives the way you want them to, they will do as they wish. But I must say Dominica is following the American culture too much, with young people now coming out and say they are gay. That is pure nonsense, if you’re gay, we do not want to know, keep it to yourself. I beleive the reason those people are suggesting that homosexuals were born with their desires is because they do not understand the difference between fleshly demands and spiritual demands.
Human beings need to realize that they are no different from animals unless they are able to reason through the wisdom that disciplines and trains their minds through the guidance and teachings of conscience.

Would a man who is nurturing spiritual thoughts in his mind desire to engage in sex with another man, and not question that desire? Yes he would qustion the desire of his body, and he would overcome that desire, by speaking against it, without the actual fulfillment.

That statement contradicts itself. Dominica has a severe issue of separating church and state. You say that you aren’t saying to just outright attack gay people in public, and I believe that. For the whole island to know that this many people are gay and like men or women only? Make them pay a set fine to the government every month? If one were to take a look at these so called ‘relationships’, often times these perverts attempt to model themselves on a normal heterosexual union both in their living arrangements and in the sex act ie in the case of two men, one of them tends to be dominant and the other deliberately acts more feminine than even natural females; in the case of two women, one of them tends to like a natural male sometimes even playing more bad than actual men. Well, here’s a class-A embarrassment. Couldn’t even do an hour of research, could you? Smh, smh. I will answer your points not in any particular order, but in the way I feel like, since I have answered these arguments on here ad infinitum.
1) The bible. The god of the Old Testament is basically a dictator. Whatever he says, people are expected to do, or they will suffer eternal punishment. The equation is “follow me or suffer forever,” basically. This is the equation of a lunatic barbarian, a dictator of the most extraordinary order. Nowhere is this better manifested than in the horrific story of Abraham and Isaac. God tells Abraham to murder his son to demonstrate his faith? Huh? What kind of loving deity would demand that? And Abraham is ready to do it! He only stops at the last moment because god stops him–but he WAS GOING TO KILL HIS OWN SON! This is dictatorship, plain and simple. There is no morality involved here, since the only rule is that you follow god or go to hell. That is MADNESS.
This same god repeatedly asks that genocide be carried out, that women be raped and captured, that his wild whims be carried out. If this is what makes you happy, follow away, but you are following a madman.
And you cannot accuse me of “misunderstanding” any scriptures unless you allow that you may be “misunderstanding” the scriptures about gays.
2) Nature. Animals exhibit homosexuality. Therefore, it does, in fact, occur in nature. Obviously, it is not what the penis or vagina were made for. But if it is between consenting adults, and if it hurts no one, what’s the big deal?
3) Pedophilia, rape, etc. Homosexuality has no relation to any of these. Many posters like comparing it to these for whatever mad reason. Pedophilia is sex with a minor–a child. Children are not legally or mentally fit for intercourse. Rape is forced sex. Obviously not the same as consensual sex.
4) Civilized countries. Um, so Dominica is more of a civilized country than the USA and Europe? Give me a bloody break. You need to travel. When our country has world-class facilities, world-class intellectuals, and world-class something asides from natural areas (which we ourselves are not responsible for, I should emphasize), then come back to me with that argument. But, oops, you won’t be able to for a hell of a long time, since Dominica has a longggggg way to go. And I do not say that to attack the island. I love the island. But it has a lot of problems, and nobody who is not blind can deny that.
5)Beyond religion, what? Why do you condemn gays beyond passages in an ancient book you cannoy even prove is true? Sure, it can be risky, and gays should be held accountable for risky behavior–but you don’t see all the gays in the world dropping down from AIDS, do you? Of course not. And that is because your argument about diseases is not really valid, nor does it apply only to gays. Safe sex is safe sex.
And to return to my first point: come on, man. The colonists told you Christianity is true. Same religion they used, at times, to justify enslaving you. You can beleive it if you want, but that doesn’t make it true. And many Christians are not a-holes like you.
6) Normality. Have you ever met a gay person? Because if you have, I don’t know how you can think gays are different from you and me. Some are flamboyant, yes, but so are some straight people, too. It all comes down to who individuals are.
7) Other Christians aren’t a-holes. Why do you insist on being a medieval a-hole, like the Westboro Baptist group in the USA? Most contemporary Christians don’t care if you’re gay or straight. They follow that great New Testament doctrine of–wait for it–love. Love! Now there’s an irony.

I am helping your explanation pertaining to animal’s behavior throught the senses, compared to human behavior by the control of the minds, to say that a human being who allow the sole control of their human senses are the same as the lower animals.
Man cannot allow his senses to control him, otherwise he will be in troulbe all the time.
That is why I like your point; you showed me something that I had never thought about before. What makes human beings different from animals is their ability to reason, to determine what is the best thing to do and to do it. Animals do not have that ability of reasoning.
For example, it is normal for a dog to sniff and to eat anything that eatable from the dirty ground, especially if it is hungry. That is not a normal habit for a human being.
Hence a human mind must to connected to conscience where wisdom enchants the ability to decipher or discern.
Wisdom will tell the mind of human being that two men do not engage in sexual activities and that person’s mind will deny the process, hence cancelling the product–the desire to perform the action.
Eventually that man’s mind will stop nurturing that kind of sexual desire–especially if it was a habit he learned.
Jesus talked to His disciples about celibacy, and He mentioned Eunuchs, who are men, born without the desire to maintain sexual relationship with women, but they do not engage in sex with men either. So they lived a celibate life.
And that must be possible because the apostle John, at the Book of Revelation, tells us that he heard that God Almighty–in Jesus Christ– will choose 144,000 men to rule with Him in Heaven. Those men will be who were not defiled by women–the must be virgins.
Anyway, the important thing to know is that mariage is “for until death do us part” Jesus once said to the Sadducees: “In the resurrection they neither marry, nor are they given in marriage, for they are like angels in heaven.
