Dear Minister of National Security: May I take the opportunity to congratulate you on what appears to be your first positive achievement as Minister of National Security.
Since most crimes appear to be committed by altered/anti-social minds or those who feel that they are above the law, may I however ask the following questions?
1. Is there any drug-testing requirement for the licensing of firearms?
2. Is there a psychiatric evaluation/screening for persons who are being issued firearms licenses?
3. Is there any facility for testing for being under the influence of alcohol and drugs for those who brandish their licensed firearm at nightclubs and at the press?
4. How easy will it be to frame someone and lock them up for 15 years for allegedly threatening?
If these are not being considered are we law-abiding citizens going to be at the mercy of those few whom the “illegally appointed” commissioner decides to issue a license to?

In two weeks what was happening in Dominica?
I got 2 French customers attacked in escalier tet chien by an Indian, but the woman screaming; the thief left running.
I heard that two people got tied on a tree in Hamstead beac h not far from Calibishie beach and got stolen from everything.
2 Germans got beaten with stones in Salisbury with strong injuries.
But you the stupid arrogant thief don’t you think you do it for something???
You do it for small money, maybe 80 ec$ (3o us$) and a stolen camera that you can sell for more than 20 ec$ because you don’t have the cables to reload it.
Dam you are stupid because for little money you can finish your life in jail. Don’t you know that if you work peacefully two of your miserable life days you would win the same money with proud?
You give reputation to Dominica and “ IF” tourists don’t come no more, all of your brothers, all of your parents are going to suffer. They will not have more money to survive but maybe because no other choice they would have to steal “YOU” too, the stupid selfish thief.
I’m ready to publish that all over the world if nobody in power is taking is responsibilities and acting, meaning the police forces.

i cant learn at the dgs anymore everyday is fighting students and students,students and teachers,students and secrurity,how do the minister in charge of security checking that.send police to secure those schools instead,man even drugs at school can you imagine that.school adim is very poor as a student thats how i see it cause detention over and over suspension over and over,we need help in our schools espeacilly dominica grammer school.
How did you ever get to be a student at DGS with such poor writing? You need to get extra lessons and learn to write at least a basic sensible sentence…unbelievable.

To the person who wrote that letter,… where did you get that from,or what makes you believe that (and I quote) “most crimes appear to be committed by altered/anti-social minds” ?. That is not quite accurate.
Man is a “social being” and he/she is influenced by what is happening in his/her environment. Crime is a “social” phenomenon, not a biological one.
And secondly, No one can be locked up and send to prison for 15yrs. for an allegation…..
There must be an investigation, concrete evidence,a charge,or charges, and conviction in a Court of Law….before someone can be sentenced.
You don’t just pick up someone “and lock them up for 15 years for allegedly threatening”.
That’s not how it works.
Please,let’s get our facts straight,…..before we put our shallow and baseless views out there.

I agree , why you jump and say ADMIN wrote it.
I think ADMIN or DNO has been very forthcoming in their approach. You have a medium to express yourself, and you choose to go down the drain.
The questions I think a quite legitimate irrespective of who they are targeted against.
I am also supportive of the Government but these laws affect us all and I am guarded against laws that those with lesser means may affect more.

Not really true. Some people are told to slow down they posting too many comments even when their comments contain no negative and are not libelous while others comment on everything day after day their comments are being posted. Judging by some of the comments I see that are posted I don’t quite believe that statement.
