remids me of a coconut tree we had on our plot we nicked named it the ” bent waist coconut tree’ but it bore fearlessly inspite of its apparent physical struggles – so when asked where one was going we would reply ” meet us by ‘bend waist'” funny at the time

And do you know that the papaya green leaves is good to drink for the chikungunya. Just wash, pure hot water over it, let it cool and drink as often as you can. It fight the disease very well. That’s what we use in SXM.

Thanks DNO. Thanks Dupex . Besides the display of our natural beauty, your photos always carry a message. The message here is that success in life cannot be taken for granted. The heights by great men reach and kept were not attained by sudden flight.
This picture remind me that organic papaya (pawpaw) is a nutritious fruit full of medical value. I know from my granny and from personal experience that it is good for the control of high blood pressure.
I know that if you spread some seeds in your back yard ,within five months you have fruits. you can even get dwarf trees .Because of demand world wide and because it is a tropical fruit papaya can be a cash crop , with export potential

Some of us need to take example from that papaya tree. It bent in a direction where it can get the much needed sunlight for it to bear good fruits.

Can we do the same and bend in the right direction to bear good fruits?

What a true lesson of strength in this picture. Bend but don’t break! Be flexible yet firmly rooted. A bend but don’t break attitude is required to weather the storms of life and is the secret of great success.

Thanks for this wonderful photo, as it reminds me of my last visit to Dominica.
My wonderful cousin treated me to a trip to Giraudel, where I was exposed to the beautiful fauna of that area.
God willing, I am anticipating my next visit to that panoramic area.
Thanks DNO for sharing our beautiful island with those of us, who are so far away!

God has blessed our land with much richness and nourishment…even the seemingly unhealthy tree in well sustained and nourished by nature.

This is an object lesson given by nature. In spite of what life throws at you, though bent and out of shape and with ever present adversities, you can grow, bloom and be productive.
    Great photo.
