Oh, good old Macoucherie! It still makes my day when I am in DA. I need my fix right now!
I love this picture, when Macoucherie was Macoucherie it was mangoes, coconuts, guavas, cane. The best mango was called Lapoamere; I wander if its still there that was the good old days. Lovely Dominica.
Tell me about it. Those days were GREAT!
Yes @ Gens Baoui, thats where we wash our clothes on Saturdays, we use to have fun but our main spot was the beach boucherie We use to put the belly full juicy in the water on the side with a few stones around the bottles, the drinks were chill. At times we cook brath with fig, dombre and smoked meat, fish or sanoche with green paw paw. Yes those days were great cuz we lived together in one LOVE,sharing, caring, and we strech our hands to help our brothers and sisters in love. At the same time we collect castor oïl seeds for our parents to make oïl, I really enjoy thoes days Machoucherie river is the best in DOMINICA. Way up there is a spot called NOBBE is a swimming pool ppl picnic there and its lovely. Please visit Macoucherie river one of the best in DA.
