PHOTO OF THE DAY: A face in time

Photo depicts a Dominican drummer back in the past. Again no date was sent when the photo was submitted but this man could be someone’s great grandfather or a relative. Who knows?

Photo submitted anonymously.

Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy

I love this picture. The joy radiated on his face is confirmation of his love for his drum music. The same joy that radiates from every Dominican when we hear our music.

    Thank you for sharing.

    God Bless Dominica

If you see mister, he has not aged a day since that picture was shot. His name is Joseph, but we call him Jo. I saw him by the beach in Calibishie last week.

first question that come to mind. How were these people worshipping God during that time..the way they prayed and so on. because so manythings have changed from that time to now. wow! what were their thoughts about the bible. the bible remains the same but different people come with diffreent undersanding and teachings. my my my years from now the babies who will b in their 50’s i wonder how they will b looking at our pics in the 2000. my my thanks dno for the flash back.
