Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.
Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.
Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy.’
All of this just speak of how ignorant these people are. It tells how much that they have not even seen photos of NYC. People, use y’all cellphones and download pics of NYC. What is trashy about that photo? Is it the fading street markings, or the building on the other side that would do with some fresh painting. FYI new york streets are not paved with gold and there are no pearly gates…that’s heaven.
All of this negative comments about people who live in New York are coming from hearts full of envy. These people either got rejected by the US Embassy when they applied for a US visa or they maybe don’t have the means to move to NY. I know it’s not every D/can who wants to live in NY but those making these comments definitely hate their lives in D/ca and yearn for a better living elsewhere. Some of these people will die from an envious heart…pitiful.
@lovemyisland it looks like you like to jump to conclusions very quickly first of all you do not me neither do you know my background for your information I grew up in the virgin islands I came to the V.I age of 10 I’m now 48 do your calculation so I did not just come there and pick up any rubbish like you called it.it comes naturally so sorry if I offended you by saying mehson next time I will say garcon

it is no secret that those over there do two to three jobs in order to survive.so i really dont see where jealous coming there
D/a pips are so jealousy, yet they want pips to send barrel for them, good thing I crying just like them when I come to d/a.set of jealous people. Got one of those, got it as a gift from New York. I love it a d won’t use it, it is a souvenir. Not all people who left d/a live in apartments, you sill be surprise to see the mansions some of us live in, and we do not sell drugs. D/a have a lot of people who are professionals in other countries especially in the states,so eat your heart out
I would love to have not one Unbrella as a gift but a couple so that I can give to my Island People, so that they too can fly the flag and be proud of Dominica over here in the UK, and I know that a whole lot of non Dominicans will see it because we have plenty of rain over here. LoL . PLEASE TRY TO FIND OUT WHERE IN (New York) sells them and post a link here or on my facebook. Thanks

Where can I buy an umbrella like that one? I like!!
i want an umbrella so
Niceness!!!!!
awwwwww…nice!
So kool…..I like it…I want an umbrella just like that!
that is newyork?i thought that was an area in gutter
you aint seen “an area” in gutter yet. New York is not all niceness …ask those living in there
Hahaha but u still want to go there
It took u time to realize that everywhere has its own ghetto. I live in NYC in the ghetto and I have no problem with tht. At least my neighbors and community ppl knw me so tht makes it easier. Nothing wrong with the ghetto. It’s what u do that makes the diference. Nothing wrong with getting a start off in the ghetto and trying to move to heigher heights. Ghetto yute stand firm. We may move out of the ghetto later on in life but we should still remain humble and remember where we come from.
Nice
I love that umbrella – anyone know where I can get one?

LOL, I WANT ONE TOO. THAT’S AWESOME
Loooooool true wiii but that grey-hound bus would have a real hard time turning in Roseau ehh
