Haven’t seen sooo much race controversy since Michael Jackson turned white! According to the article, this is the Venezuelan Ambassador’s Grand daughter, which had spent 3 months here on the island. Considering how young she seems to be, doesn’t that make her Dominican enough, regardless of her skin color?
The Ambassador has been working hard for the island’s sake for a long time now, let’s just be proud of our country and of the love that is receiving from every corner of the world!

A picture speaks a thousand words. As soon as I observed the picture, it brought a huge smile to my face. She is oh, so beautiful and cute. For her young age, she is extremely patriotic. Firstly, her dad of course. :) This picture is worth keeping and showing off to everyone possible, especially to all Dominicans.
She makes me proud of my (our) beautiful Dominica and heritage. This is a really beautiful picture. Our Lord Jesus Christ loves the little, innocent children of the world. He was once a child, Infant Jesus.
God bless Dominica and nationals. The picture makes us all happy and proud of our country and its heritage. Thanks DNO! There should be more of these.

ADMIN: IF we had a pic of a Dominican baby, we would publish it. Unfortunately people don’t submit pics but complain when others do.

How true! If only they would think of submitting one. Dominica has beautiful babies and dressed in the national costume, they will look even more beautiful. Hopefully next year they will submit a few relevant pictures. I really love this picture. She is beautiful and bright in this color of the national dress.

well! well! well! – I saw so many of our “black” babies in regular outfits during the independence, let’s just appreciate the submission and the fact that the family feels “Dominican” enough to even dress up the baby in support of our independence.

        SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!!!

You Dominicans are not easy! Someone took the time to buy and dress their baby in Dominican attire, and you guys are complaining about ‘. Do you have a pic of a Dominican baby?’

DNO don’t respond to ignorance. This is indeed a worthy ‘pic of the day’..

Gorgeous baby! One advise, next year instead of the below which she has just give her a white anklet and a little black shoes to go with that, and that will be cuter!!

      ‘advice’

It is winter in Canada. Ottawa is colder than Toronto. They may have been out celebrating Dominica’s independence. This may be the reason why she wore the type of socks. Children must be warmly clad for winter and also for their comfort. White is appropriate. It matches the dress.
Even indoors could be cold if the heating system is not on or fully on. Some people keep the temperature low. I have heard that the minimum it should be for our indoor comfort and health is 65 degrees Fahrenheit. It should also not be too hot indoors. Some people also keep it lower in order to save on utility. Due to this, they will dress warmly indoors. That is the way it is in a cold climate in winter.
