NICE PIC.. WHERE IN POSSIE? JUST CANT FIGURE IT OUT. SOME BODY HELP ME.

    • December 1, 2011

I think that picture was taken somewhere in Zicack maybe Upper Lane or the next street. The street tells the story. I have been watching the area and it looks familiar so that is why I can tell you that is Zicack.
Portsmouth, Lagoon and Glanvillia the streets are not like that.

      December 1, 2011

      That’s in lower Zicack

      December 1, 2011

I was trying to figure it out too but the road looks like somewhere up in Zicack.

    • Eaon
      December 2, 2011

Zicack is where it was taken. Considering I am not originally from Dominica I do not actually know where the lines are between the cities, towns, villages … are, henceforth labeled it as Portsmouth. Apologies.

As well it is very difficult to get anyone to actually tell you the name of anything, there is certainly no map that has the information and street signs are few and far between.

I took the picture this past summer while my wife was giving a presentation at the Women’s Club on the corner of Benjamin Park. Anyway, I am glad all of you enjoyed the picture.

      Regards, eaon

Well….Zicack IS in Portsmouth..it’s a part of it. You’re really not from there huh? Portsmouth has Chance,Zicack, Possie Proper(cocotown), Baron, Glanvilla, Picard, Lagoon, Gutter, Grange, Derre-La-Rosin, Cotton Hill…and I’m sure there’s more ..don’t feel bad

This is truly beautiful to look at. This is how every child in Dominica and the world should behave right now. Grow with that love that would transcend through all of life. This would certainly eradicate the violence in homes, schools and the rest of society.
God bless the children of Dominica.

PHOTO OF THE DAY….PHOTO OF AN INNER CORE OF HUMANITY..WHAT WE HOPE NEVER TO LEAVE.

I would sure appreciate to know in what village these two partners live. It looks clean.

    Thank you

    • December 1, 2011

      Re: ineedfree.
The headline reads Photo taken in Portsmouth. Portsmouth is not a village. it is the neglected second town of Dominica.
it is however nice to show that with all the negativity around there is a potive trend of true love and brotherhood.

Nice! My son and nephew are like that. My son is 8 and my nephew is 3. Where you find one you find the other. If one is riding a bicycle the other is chasing it. The innonence of childhood is so sweet.
