Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to dominicanewsonline@gmail.com for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy

    Yes it is Woodfordhill Beach and the people are from the Adventure Club of the Pierre Charles Secondary School.

    Nice photo but one thing that not pleasing to the eye is the condition of the sand. It would be nice if those in authority would pay a few guys to clean up the beach, rake the sand and remove all the unsightly deposits.
    Just my observation. Other than that the photo brings back joyful memories.

    Gush I hate the sea but it just looks so damn inviting in this photo…oh and may I just say to all at DNO that I absolutely love the new look..great job!!!
