How refreshing. Discover Dominica folks maybe you all could ask her permission to use this image in our Dominica campaigns. Completely natural, unstaged and so captivating!
Miss those summer days…..
I LOVE U DOMINICA
Okay, the water is thrilling, and I am sure she is really in the state of peaceful relaxation. But what do we mean by the “last day of summer” when we live in Dominica?
Of course, the temperature might go down a bit. but I am sure that the days of September to May is just as great as the days of June to August.
Blessed is our Dominica; and to God be the glory!
Why do you people have to make a big deal out of everything. The person in the photo might have been visiting Dominica for summer and was enjoying the last few days on the island.
In Dominica a lot of people see June, July, and August as summer holidays when students are away from school and they simply refer to it as ‘summer’ and not necessarily the season as in temperate countries.
Enjoy the damn photo and quit complaining. SMFH
@ Lizavier.. even we live in Dominica and you do know that we have 2 seasons officially right? and you do know “Summer” is mainly attributed to children being on vacation from school? You all pick and pull at everything

Dominica News Online is being read by people from all over the world. I know because my facebook from South Africa has commented on my input, and her picture is always among the facebook group of DNO–her first name is Margaret.
Many of those people know the difference between summer and winter, fall and spring. Yes! There is a great big difference.
For those people who do not know anything about our Dominica, talking about the “last days of summer” here is like telling them Dominica experiences the four seasons–that is misleading.
You people are forgetting that our duty is speak about Dominica that those who do not know her–not against the comments your people write on DNO.
Speaking about Dominica is the primary way outsiders will get to know her; what is “summer” in Dominica when we have bright sunshine on December 25, for example? Correction is to made, wherever it is needed–bottom line!
you live in Canada!
see what dem people do my sister boy………lol dat gud 4 her she too like to dwevey……alvina……….hahaha

very relaxing. Don’t even have words to explain. Dominica water so nice! God bless us so let us appreciate it, take care of it and love it.
What’s this `last days of summer’ business about? Are we entering winter? Is the sunshine and warmth about to disappear? We are still in the Caribbean folks.
Good question, Sam. Unfortunate caption, what?
you guys must use allu descretion. the person maybe is going back to school. and yes summer is over evenif we dont see winter…
@Samatha
Your comment is just like mine; I did not yet read the comments when I posted it.
You will see that I quoted the same statement as yours–maybe there are others like it; I will see when I read more.
Even if I have lived in Toronto for decades, where the warm sunshine vanishes say like October until the end of April, I will never forget that there ain’t no “last days of summer” in our Dominica, eh! Sometimes even if it is raining the sun still continues to shine bright and nice, wee!
That is the reason why I am counting the few more years when I will say to Toronto: Its year long summer in my Dominica, so good bye to you!
I have enough of that white thing on the ground for almost half of the year, every year in TO! I am going back home, to our DA, you see!
@Lizavir4Jesus….That’s right; the rivers will not freeze over and will be made use of all the time, summer or no summer; school holidays or no school holidays. We are not going to experience a cold dark winter.
i agree
with all de swim i cyanna swim i learning one time. A bellerz wi
What a beautiful capture. It is so good to see a sistren letting it out ; getting her hair wet and fully enjoying the river. As we all know the sisters are very protective of the ” hair”. Note I did not say their hair but ” the hair”.
because it cost $$$$…why get it wet.

Youforgettingsomething.Sheismorebeautifulaswell
Why are you turning this beautiful photo/moment into a weight thing? You people are so immature, so sick, so country, so stupid, so childish. What weight? The young girl looks fine. great photo.
Water is life so let us protect, save and appreciate it. DO NOT throw trash, poopoo, and other waste in our streams and waterways. That picture is worth a million words. Needless to say she is a beautiful person.
Assertive, NOT Agressive!
Yes my honour!this woman is enjoying the pleasure of Dominica;WATER!PEOPLE, please try to protect IT.GOD’S gift to DOMINICA.
Oh how i can do with that river bath badly, this is one of the things i miss my country for
