Pumpkin soup is healthy and delicious. I have some other recipes for pumpkin. Makes me hungry.
Nice pic. And the coconut in the background almost stole the show. I recall seeing a pumpkin that was brougnt in by a Laudat villager for a village Exhibition back in 1996 or thereabout. It weighed a startling 75 lb. Yes, 75 lb. And the skin was white. The owner weighed it in a thick raincoat, and I recall him saying that the seeds had come from France and that he had produced larger pumpkins than the one he brought for the exhibition.
That coconut got my attention. It looks like a piglet. Very nice!!
@ Sout Man
Take another look at the photo. It looks like a pumpkin to me and not a coconut.
The jelly in the background ( small yellow one) does look like a piglet.
Next time you use this or any other food as the “photo of the day,” PLEASE cut off a little bit so we can see? the INSIDE of the pumpkin. Nowadays everybody is posting all kinds of magjee talking about photo of the day.
@ TeteMorne I from
Surely you should know what the inside of a pumpkin looks like? What is the curiosity to see it about?
It would make me hungrier and more home sick truth. Still a beautiful photo though.
Would gladly have some pumpkin soup right now.
