Amateur or not, you can’t take a bad shot from there, it’s the actuall view from that location. it’s gets even better if you pan a little to the left to see the villages and mountains in the background.

Preety at night too but not well lit so you get a real feel of how much people are hurting to afford Domlec’s high electric rates.

I thought there was suppose to be no advertisment? This seems like an ad to me.

    • Question
      November 19, 2011

How is this advertising? It is showcasing the beauty of the southern end of our country, the hotel is not even in the picture?

        @ Question

It was not for advertising. I do not think anyone missed the picture of the hotel or ever gave it a thought. It is the position in which the picture was taken.
The picture was taken and posted for our viewing pleasure as Dominicans. I would think that all the pictures which are taken and posted are not for advertising. DNO can correct me if I erred.

Great photo. What beauty and so serene. Notice the cloud formation above the mountain. The flowers are blooming and beautiful including the trees. Would love to just stand near this railing, place my hands on it and gaze at the scenery while thinking beautiful thoughts, in peace and tranquility. This is an excellent place to do so on such a beautiful, bright and sunny day with a clear blue sky! It is out of this world. God’s creation.

one thing i’ll be honest and say… u all love scott’s head in allu photos eh… if is not the shot of the isthmus… it’s the pic of scotts head from the mountain… but yet gov’ts have come and gone and has failed to build a suitable marina in scott’s head… one of the top fishing villages… we even mention it in one of our folk creole songs… a marina would greatly enhance tourism in that area.. not forgetting nearby soufriere and gallion has sulphur springs and volcanoes… nonetheless that’s a beautiful pic… just had to point out such thing i’ve observed for a long time….

Great idea MOTS!! It does not have to be the government. What about you and I putting together a business group, write up an investment proposal and seek funding from local, regional and international banks with government as our surety? We can then offer 49% shares to a foreign investment group or individual to lure the millionaires and their yacht$. We will also need a few villas on the hills. Do you think Donald Trump would be interested? You’ll be the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) and I’ll be the CEO.

      Nice shot Nelson!!

Sout Man, you deep! I think you and MOTS are deffinitely on track and have the vision to bring the South to the true prominence it deserves. Keep ideas coming, you never know, God is mysterious!
