This is such a lovely site to see. At this early age this young boy is teaching other young men that they can find meaningfull ways to be creative and to earn a living. May this child receive all the love and help he needs to make the most of this talent the Lord has blessed him with.

    @ domerican/possie

so if i am not impressed am i suppose to lie to the kid….well let me rephrase….i will tell him i am not impressed but as long as he did his best..that’s what matters…..he has to learn to take constructive criticism… he cant be sheltered from that….he should have the self esteem to overcome criticism….that is life..it is reality

      tiny,

What are you stating? Why are you not impressed? What is wrong with her creation? It looks good to me. She deserves to be complimented. It obviously took her many hours and a lot of patience to complete it. You probably need eye glasses to see the beauty of it.

Tiny, what did you make in your “childhood” days?was it perfect?
If it was lets say your son or daughter or cousin , is that the way you would really comment on the thing that they just made? Or would you use a little wisdom and say something encouraging even though that thing was not perfect. A CHILD you talking to. Learn to present your “constructive criticism” in the appropriate way. But i suspect you just like beeing NEGATIVE. Take your sorrows elsewhere nuh…..

because you don’t have any talent doesnt mean you have to crtitize the young man. HATER. with more practice he’ll be great.

Man, the pride beaming from that face is just priceless.

Be proud my young Dominican, be proud. It is not a lot of people that can say they created a Mitsubishi truck.

Boy, this brings back memories of when Dominica was not so sophisticated and childhood was about being creative and inventive.

Since we did not have television and computers broadcasting to us 24 hours a day, it left us lots of time to create our own entertainments and distractions. Good old days.

So go on youngster and don’t let anyone discourage you. The only limit you have is your imagination. Who knows you may be the first Dominican to produce for Mitsubishi called ‘Mitsubishi 767’ or ‘Mistsubishi Islander’ or ‘Mitsubishi Kubuli’ or ‘Mitsubishi Dominique’ or ‘Mitsubishi Agouti’, man who knows. LOL!

Tiny, for a woman that always come in here pretending to be an advocate for children, SHAME on you!

Yeah, the meomories of the days back then, when childhood was really being inventive and creative. I drove the one with the one wheel drive ( milk tin cover nailed to a stick), two wheel drive ( two round sawn wood )with a bobbin and strings as the steering system, four wheel trucks like the one he has, the ROLLER (milk tin filled with wet sand pulled by an attached string) and also the Backhoe ( with a corn beef tin as the blade ) and it goes on. childhood memories i tell you. Good to see the skills are still being practiced. Praises to you little one…keep it up. it will help you on to greater skills and ideas

        tiny,

Ensure you practice the faith to the fullest, loving God with all your heart and soul. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, the Second Commandment is like the First, “Love one another as you love yourself.”
A reminder or informing you in case you are not aware of it, St. Paul said, “Nothing defiled will enter Heaven.” Worship, prayer, penance and sacrifice and persevering to the end will assist in obtaining eternal salvation – Heaven. Do not deceive yourself otherwise. Too many do so.

Isn’t this the same “tiny” who talks so much about the plight of children in Dominica? That’s the best comment you have to give? I hope this kid does not feel discouraged after reading your stupid comment. On another note; BIG UP TO YOU LITTLE BOY. KEEP IT UP. ONE DAY “TINY” MIGHT COME LOOKING FOR YOU TO BUILD HIS/HER HOUSE.
