That looking like something that happened on Easter Monday we pal…some big hard dumbway with some smoked meat…goat, pig, chicken…
What a wonderful sequence DNO, I am truly appreciative. This week we started on Tuesday with some fresh balaw, then we had some fresh green fig. My comment for yesterday was, “all that is missing now is an outside three stone Foo Difay”, and here it is, smoke and all. Wonderful!
The good old days, we all know that the food tasted much sweeter from being cooked like this. yeah man!!
Fire look’s hot u ever see cold fire ?
@Tiger:
LMFAO!!!!
A friend of mine, a few years ago was up in Florida when a hurricane struck, crippling electricity and gas. No problem, he said , while others were queueing up in long lines for food rations, a group many of persons from the Caribbean resorted to 3 big rocks and an open wood fire to cook on.
looks like soon we will all have to go back to these sorts of days which were actually the best. Because the price of cooking gas keeps rising and rising. And I actually prefer food that is cooked on in this traditional way it does have a better taste.
Not too long ago I saw the psychiatric staff and patients cooking a big pot on the Mero beach. This brought fun memories of youthful days when we would have river excursions cooking big broth on open fire. Lets keep the big pot vibes alive.
@ West Coast I saw them on the beach cooking their food they were happy.
Don’t know what’s in the pot but my mouth is (baving) watering; no junk food in there. Sweet
I remember my picnic days in DA by the riverside boy. What good mess boy those fire can cook a good food and a taste to die for. OH MY! I miss those days.
