if you had sent one then it would not have to be used again give credit where it is due.
this photo was sent to me by dwight and it was me who upload it!!!!!
Lovely image, but this photo has been clearly edited. Some changes was made to it using ‘photoshop’ technology (a computer software) to alter the image. What time of day was this photo taken? Certainly it wasn’t taken early evening or during the night. One can see some much light illumination towards the Caribbean sea and daytime over the Atlantic ocean.
Overall a beautiful image has been created. Well done Dwight. However, an image in its natural state should have been submitted.
Don’t forget the caribbean sea at Scott’s Head is very crystall and even at nite whenever there is moonlight or any other light along the shores. The caribbean sea is brazed with black sand and corals this is what brings out the crystalls, we dont have white sand to bring out the murky waters which attract killer sharks. Thats the difference. Go in the Tou Sab area and see how crystall the water is, you can see schools of fish swimming along the coral reefs, without you taking a dive or snorkelling.
Why do think it was designated a marine reserve area. You should proud if you are Dominican, dont critic our LOVELY MARINE RESERVE, Dive Dominica, Anchorage Dive, Nature Island Dive etc. makes thousands of dollars in the Scott’s Head Marine Reserve, go find out from them about the beauty in the night and crystall the water is during the nite dives. TI SOUT.

Oh boy my sweet village, the beauty queen appear to be on fire.
It is better when it is fully natural.
Some of us and the tourist love it natural.

Jen Dominique
This time you are right. This is the exact photo that was posted as photo of the day sometime last year. And the photographer’s name is the same. I have a great memory. Lots of people said it was fake as well; I don’t know.
By the way you said you visited me in Canada. Can you give me a hint of where you came to visit me from, so I will try to remember who you are?
Hmmm…..send me your email address…
and I will fill in the blanks
Jen Dominique
I did leave my email address for you to contact me when helped me to know about “Allan” Clarice’s step son; because of a DNO news article last year, you remember? Anyway here it is again! [email protected] Fill in the blanks as you say you will.
I from Scotts Head lives in Atlanta this photo made me proud,is my village on fire, nice pic, I’ll be home soon.for vacation.
Nice……………….. But Stil cah Touch Bishie Views
We have been here before. Please clarify this picture – is it genuine or modified with some picture enhancing software, Dwight.?
Lovely pic but should have kept it’s natural look.
I agree with you. I’m from Scott’s Head and indeed Scott’s Head is one of the most beautiful village in Dominica
Wasnt that Featured already??
Yes, it was!
wasnt that pic already posted as pic of the day?
same thing i saying
well why not submit yours…
I love it! Great work!
Cool pic…. but Nothing fake about it, Scotts Head used to be brighter. Domlec has rendered Dominicans incapable to afford electricity. Scotts Head used to be brighter before these guys bought CDC and turned it into DUMLEC ! I have pics in my collection from that same point to prove it.
This is not a natural pic. Check the midday shadows to the lower right from the trees (on the ‘beach’). Also, there’s no way the water can be that clear at night/dusk (or dawn) when these lights would have shone that bright. Jamais fete! Nonetheless, the photographer did a good job… however, illogical.
yes.it looks so
Kewl
OMG!! That is the best pic ever. I want that pic. waw!!!!!! makes me want to go there now!!
Was scotts head on fire? nice pic… i love it.
lovely
Hmmm, interesting but beautiful photo. It seems photo was taken about high noon and yet we have this orange hue to the lights. Typically lights won’t reflect like that at this time of day, unless these are all mirrors – but light looks too orange (dusk-like) to be that of a midday sun? . Photoshop superimposing effects, maybe?
However it is, nice pic.
wow nice work Dwight! I’ll be returning to my photography soon so lookout competition is right on your heel.
ITS LOOKS SO FAKE
LOOKS LIKE A BUSH FIRE
wowwwwwwww. real beautiful
beautiful!!!!!
oh i like!!
