Photo depicts members of a Commonwealth of Dominica, Ontario Association (CDOA) demonstration at the opening of Scotia Bank Toronto Caribbean Festival last week at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
During the festival itself in August the CDOA will have a float called Dominica: A Creole Paradise’ with five sections:
1. Kalinago
2. La Grande Wob Dwiyet
3. La petite jupe
4. Souswell Souris in the colours of flag of the Commonwealth of Dominica
5. Sensay in the colours of the flag of the Commonwealth of Dominica
The photo gives an idea of what is expected to be seen in the float.

Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.
Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.
Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.
Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy.’
Photographs submitted should be the property of the contributor or where this is not the case, the contributor should obtain the permission of the owner before submitting the photograph.

I hope the Body Shop sales lady have lots of sale for Caribana weekend. Wob Dwiyet in that heat. I like the yellow one better. Put a potcham or bullhorn on the Sensay head. What fancy hat that..steups.

as much as we would love to have the mask, it is not allowed. CDOA and its many volunteer is working around the clock to showcase Dominica real mas. we need all the love and support we can get from Dominican all over the diaspora.
