I only see one, actually there is another, we referred to them as the Twin Rocks by name!

One is called Noble, and the other is called Marcel; the larger is call Noble, the smallest is called Marcel.

Now the names may not be known to the very young generation in Wesley and Marigot,I am sure unknown to the rest of Dominica.

However, even in kindergarten, their names were introduced to us in our geography class.

Time have changed, and the reason for my observation is that in all the comments no one has mentioned the Rock island by name.

Growing up we heard many suspicious comments made about the two rocks which breath fear into people, thus the waters around them was a place where people ventured not; not until in the 1960’s when a man from Wesley named Wilson and a few others ventured in to conduct spear fishing.

No lives were lost, hence the superstition was shattered.

The only thing discovered there was plenty of fish, and a heavy ” under water rip-current ” existing, if one is a poor swimmer the current will pull you out into the deep and rough ocean.

Isn’t this something and beautiful? But for the size, it looks like a little island. It even has a few trees/plants growing on it. Scrutinizing it and looking closely, right in the center front nearer to the tallest tree, you may see three people on it, two short ones wearing a suit and white shirt, as if sitting and a taller one standing in front of one of them. There are times our eyes are playing tricks but it could very well be real, as a vision in the distant.
Pertaining to visions and godly spiritual ones at that, some people could see them and others can’t. It is unexplainable.
