Very beautiful indeed! Thank you to those of you who provided information about this flower. But most of all let us give thanks to God, for technology, as He helps us to pass on important information to those of us who need it.
DomCan, my mom would cut down that vine as well, because of that snake, no matter how much juice it provided from its fruits. I would go all the way with her idea too. I hate snakes so much that I cannot even stand to look at them in pictures.
VERY beautiful!! I know that flower it makes a fruit that creates a delicious drink..
@mr juice: thanks Mr. Juice, watered my mouth, we had this huge vine and eventually had to cut it down cause we found a few little snakes amongst it and my mom was scared. but when i had the juice esp with lime, it was wicked
Wow, I have seen this in a long time. Good photo. Thanks DNO for this feature.

this flower eventually bears a fruit called Barbadine ,this is a sister of the passionfruit, , it grows really big and has seeds like the passion. we had a tree in our back yard, the juice is really nice and also u can use the skin and entire fruit to make te juice, it turns yellowish when ripe. Its a really nice juice whehn served really cold

This is such a beautiful flower. Have never seen one of these before, so please tell us where in Dominica was this photo taken. I would love having this plant in my garden.
