Dexter, I dont think I know you, but I note that the word (novice) is scripted next to your name. I am an amature – with a few years experience – and I have a mild passion for shoooting sunsets myself. One sunset can produce so many wonderful, creative photos, if you have the eye for composition.

One thing. By having the palm dead centre of the photo, that tree beacme the main subject of the photo. Could have shot the tree to the left side, and use one of the longer curved “branches” to sort of frame the shot of the sunset. Only this past weekend I shot a sunset that had blue, grey, orange, and black (silhouette of an almond tree branch). This time I let the cloud formation and the “blue hole in the sky” be the subject, and used the little bit of the branch to give the image some “depth”. Just coming from another novice.

I am from Fond-cole but lives in the US. Thanks for giving me a little piece of home. This is simply lovely. Brings back memories of my strolls on that beach during sunset.
