PHOTO OF THE DAY: The Pagua River versus the mighty Atlantic

Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in Dominica are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on dominicanewsonline.com or news.dm.

Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

Photos must be taken of Dominicans and things Dominican. Note that submissions advertising any form of business or business activity will not be published.

Dominica News Online also encourages the submission of a variety of photos, ranging from nature shots, people shots, weird shots, interesting human interest shots, and anything ‘newsy

    Dominca was featured on international house hunters, last week the epesode gave dominica alot of exposures we will be having a whole lot of foriengers buying property so my message to all is buy while you can , and build while you can,, the old notion that you have to be a domincan to buy property is fales wake up and smell the coffee smell the coffee. the politicians will sell there soul.., and domincan passport, and citezenship, too.

    dominican come home while the cats away the mice will play the foriengners are buying the land fast preety soon dominica will be like the virgin island dominicans wont be able to buy or build it will be to expensive so buy now and build later , or buy now and build now before it is too late.

    there’s a house all by itself . bet if belongs to a foreiger. i don’t mind…as long as the public has acess to the sea by land….please stop selling lland in close proximity to the sea and river…it should be for evcryone to enjoy

      That’s the Pagua River (on the left side of the pic) flowing into the Atlantic Ocean
