The photographer is presently visiting Dominica and so was impressed by the beauty of the island that he decided to submit this photo which depicts the Chaudiere Pool in Bense. Before coming to Dominica he said he enjoyed DNO’s Photo of the Day feature which gave him an idea of what the island really is like.

They should reduce the use of editing the pictures. No matter if the camera is not high qulaity, we all know the beauty of Dominica, keep it natural… ;)
This isn’t photo editing, this is someone who knows more about photography than just point and snap. This is someone’s work of art.
All i can say is OH MY GOD. This is beautiful!!!! Only in Dominica.
We! must thank the Almighty GOD, for creation we are truly Bless indeed, some times we don’t appreciate what we have, until we migrate to another country.
The unquestionable Nature’s pristine beauty. It’s worth protecting eh.

Beautiful. And when DOWASCO completes the Hampstead River dam project, above the Chaudiere, the water coming into that pool will be very much reduced. Not complaining, just pointing out.
