Graet picture, for those of us dominicans who are fortunate to have a river passing thru your village you need to stop and smell the roses, some villages south of loubiere has no rivers , and frequent water shortage, the water in sufriere you can taste the vulcanic sulfer in it. people help preserve what we have and stop cutting down the forest, and stop polluting the rivers pick up you trash, evryday should be earth day, clean up the beaches, and the shore of our great God given Island. [A native son in Cali.]
you know there was one time you could stay on the roseau bridge and jump into the water, this is how deep the water used to be,sorry kids of today you can not enjoy that,i am sorry that today all you got is an influx of hard drugs, guns, gang and violence, dont get me wrong in my days there were gangs and violence to,there were gangs as howlings, kapassa and so on,but that used to be hand fight gangs, and now and then bottle and knife, but you never had extreme lost of life so,yes we had maybe one or maybe two deaths i can not recall, but what i am really saying is you guys are in a predicament, the good nature of nature isle is fading pretty fast, and seriously i am saddened by that, because at least this beautifull things, would at least give you guys someways to channel your energy’s.
Simply BEAUTIFUL, Thats Dominica.
Beautiful or SORRY? What is so beautiful about a sad state of affairs in DA when all the rivers and creeks are allowed to DRY up and disappear? I think it would be more beautiful if folks went on a tree preservation campaign to protect the rivers and other natural resources so our kids can have a better future. Thanks for taking the picture so attention could be drawn to the sorry issue of rivers drying up but it is a horrible sight.
