This photo was taken in the early 1990′s somewhere in Roseau.
Are you able to identify and name the area?
Let’s see how good you are.
Enjoy the weekend and have a safe Carnival

Please don’t call and ask him for the correct answer. That’s cheating.

Hello this is Cork Street where the apartment building is built on the opposite of Acme Garage and the old home of the Roseau mixed School.
I am a country girl, and sorry to say, I can’t say anything about the place. When I used to go to Roseau in the last century, it was like going to London. And if I had known that DNO would ask this question in this century, I would surely have learnt more of my geography. All I can say, very nice picture, beautiful sunshine, and everlasting green trees. Please DNO keep some for the next century. I was there last century, I am here in this one, and I will surely will be around to the next one. I’m going to memorize!!

This was the site of the Roseau Mix school…opposite Karam’s garage on Cork Street..this apartment building replaced the school.
The school was the Roseau Mixed Infant School. When I attended back then, I never realised that the wall was so close to the school building. During “recess” time, we used to be running up and down in that space which, to us 7 and 8 year-olds, was so large.
Mrs. Bruney, Fidelis’ wife used to teach there in the late 60′s
