weekend funThis photo was taken in the early 1990′s somewhere in Roseau.

Are you able to identify and name the area?

Let’s see how good you are.

Enjoy the weekend and have a safe Carnival

Please don’t call and ask him for the correct answer. That’s cheating.

I am a country girl, and sorry to say, I can’t say anything about the place. When I used to go to Roseau in the last century, it was like going to London. And if I had known that DNO would ask this question in this century, I would surely have learnt more of my geography. All I can say, very nice picture, beautiful sunshine, and everlasting green trees. Please DNO keep some for the next century. I was there last century, I am here in this one, and I will surely will be around to the next one. I’m going to memorize!!

thats the appartment building on crk street someone rightly said, its infront acme garage, a school use to be there, roeau mix shool.. where the stadium is use to be the roseau girls school, the roseau city council also had a garage for gabbage trucks, and behind was the basketball/netball playing area, together with the football ground. all that was taken away thus one of the reasons roseau have so much paro.roseau use to have number of football teams spartons, kensbro, kens, blue stars, even cable and wireless had a strong team in the end, goodwill had saints etc etc where have all the guys gone?, what is going on?.somebody tell me. let open conversation about past and present sports in da. i will start if am permitted.

The school was the Roseau Mixed Infant School. When I attended back then, I never realised that the wall was so close to the school building. During “recess” time, we used to be running up and down in that space which, to us 7 and 8 year-olds, was so large.
