A man has been injured in an accident on the Pond Case main road.
Details are sketchy at this time but Dominica News Online understands that the accident occurred when a dump truck overturned on Thursday afternoon.
An eye witness told DNO that he saw the passenger of the truck lying on the ground, probably seriously injured.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unknown.
DNO will follow and update this story when more information becomes available.
My people, please stop this nonsence about junbies and lajabless, accidents happens everywhere due mostly to our irrisponsible way of driving. Drivers have to be more aware of their surrounding and the speed that they drive

Are you blind, deaf or sleeping? They exist in all countries. Do not pretend that they do not exist. There are the evil occults, the devil worshippers. They come from every country, Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Australia – all the continents and the Caribbean islands.
By the way, interestingly, some years ago I heard that the Caribbean islands, from north and south, Jamaica to Trinidad and vice versa were supposedly to be South America. You will understand that this includes all the other islands in-between. Is this not something? Through erosion of those islands have been separated.

Our Lord said, “By their fruits you will know them.” If you are a genuinely godly person, you will know that their words and actions will depict them. Being a Catholic Christian, specifically when I go out I wear a blest gold chain with a small gold crucifix. Know that it is a great protection.
Prior to leaving home I bless myself with Holy Water and ask Our Lord to keep me safe. I always keep a small bottle of Holy Water with me.
We need to be protected at all times through the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you are a Catholic, I read that the Blessed Virgin Mary said to some visionaries since 1984, “Restore the use of Holy Water in your home.” This also means blessing yourself, your family, your surroundings and country. It never fails for this is a message from Our Lord Jesus Christ, through His Holy Spirit as Our Lady tells us. It also grants much peace of heart and in the home.
Many have swayed from the truth and of the Catholic Faith and its practice/devotions. Therefore, they suffer for it and the evil spirits surround them wherever they go which also projects in their heart, mind and words.
We must drive away the demons from us and our country. We can only do this with the help of God and the ‘blest’ Sacramentals which He has approved. Holy Water is one of them.

I cannot understand, the man is injured lying there I suppose waiting for an ambulance or for professional help, and this dude is there taking pictures of the suffering man? Rather than offering some comfort or reassurance that he is going to be ok. OMG.

Come on think of it Pond Casse is like a highway for some drivers they tend to speed but one thing they forget bout especially the bus drivers is that there are other lives at risk when they speed on the road. One of the worst things that happened to Dominica is the infiltration of the numerous non-Catholics religions. They have not done anything good for Dominica and to make Dominica a better and safe place. They came to DA saying that they will bring the people to Our Lord Jesus Christ and save them. So much for that. What has this produced? More crimes and murders. This is what has sadly happened to our beautiful island. If they were so godly and genuinely so, they would have been instrumental in making Dominica free of sin, of crime and murders. They have failed. This should inform you that they are not approved by God.
As the saying, “Do not go where the paths lead but go where there is no path and live a trail.”
St. Paul said: “We do not go where Christ has already been proclaimed.” It is in Holy Scripture. As they go about preaching the Bible, they really do not know what is truly contained in the Bible and/or overlooked it just as what Our Lord said, “Do this in memory of Me…The Holy Mass…The Sacrifice and Celebration of the Mass.”
What Catholics of all need is to cultivate their faith. If they live a godly life as they attend Church, they would not be swayed by the false prophets of our time.

The police needs to investigate what happened there many years back. It seems that someone had died their which needs to be lead to rest with a priest blessing the area.

I am practically in tears. This is so sad, I hope the young man makes a full recovery. Please my people be careful on the roads. May the Lord heal him.
In bygone years we did not hear of a spirit which is, as stated, sometimes seen on that road. In the past I have traveled on this road to and from the airport and cannot recall seeing any such thing or hearing about it including accidents taking place in that area.
Some people have (or had) cottages at Pond Casse and I have visited there. It was a great weekend/holiday getaway for many people. Nothing was ever stated about what others have stated they have seen.
If I recall, Pond Casse is the centre of Dominica. It is the coldest (coolest) place in DA since it often rains in that area. We would wear a sweater if we were visiting there especially in the early mornings and if we were there in the evenings.
Since when did this thing commence showing itself/herself to travelers on that road?
How sad, another accident and at Pond Casse. The man looks as if his legs are injured. Poor man. I feel his pain and for him. I do hope he will recover in time. May God help him.
The road appears to be under construction. It is not paved. This is what may have caused the accident.

some of you ppl take these things for a joke?im sure if it happens to one(s)family wouldn’t find nothing funny bout this.the area in question where this accident took place doesn’t appear to be bad an so drivers tend to speed up however it is a bit bumpy an it is felt under high speed.im not saying the trucker was fast but there’s other things that should be taken into consideration such as the road,obstruction,oil or water on road an smooth tires.i wish the injured man well.

I am from CB and have been passing there EVERYDAY for the last 45yrs. There are countless other drivers from other villages around using this road as well on a daily basis, and they have had no accidents….So what can you say about that?
My take is how you drive on these roads…not just this one, but all our roads. As drivers, we have to be responsible when we drive. Most of our roads are small, winding, narrow and in some areas smooth….with these conditions, it becomes very easy to get involve in an accident.
So again just asking all drivers to be more vigilant with the road conditions so as to better safe guard themselves, their passengers and their vehicles.

The next time you travel in that area bring some Holy Water and when approaching the area sprinkle it with the Holy Water as you make the Sign of the Cross – In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
