UPDATE: Police identify body of man found in Pont Cassé

The body was found in Pont Cassé

The police have identified the body of a man found in Pont Cassé on Carnival Monday.

He is 51-year-old Alexis Joseph of the Kalinago Territory.

Police PRO, Inspector Pellam Jno Baptiste said about 10:25 am on Monday, February 12 2018, the St. Joseph police responded to information which resulted in the discovery of Joseph’s lifeless body.

He said the body was discovered in a shallow river.

He was officially pronounced dead by a medical doctor at the St. Joseph Health Center, Jno Baptiste said.

A coroner’s inquest will be convened in the matter.

In the Kalinago Territory, Joseph was known as “Ti-Cokes” and he lived in the Corona area.

    A man is dead and people talking foolishness about spellings and other belittling comments. Have people become so desensitised to such terrible news and instead focus on the trivial. Have some shame, man.
