A woman is now battling for her life at the Princess Margaret Hospital after she was severely stabbed in Loubiere on Tuesday evening.
According to information reaching DNO, the woman was stabbed by another woman just after 7:00 pm at her home.
Further information indicates the other woman fled the scene in the vehicle of a well-known man.
DNO understands the woman who was stabbed is now in serious condition at the PMH and is presently undergoing surgery.
DNO is following this development and will provide more information as it becomes available.

Our young women have no self esteem,no work in the country for these young people to be occupied with more positive results.I condemn this act,and for another man,sad situation,society needs to wake up,our so call leader is a waste,lawless poor country,one day it will get better.

You mean to tell me she leaving where she was, getting a ride to go at somebody home to attack them and you making those kinds of statements. If the two of them arguing on the road, in the heat of the moment, that’s something else but on her way there, she not thinking of her actions. Stupes. Some people are bold and fear no one. That woman is heartless. The devil was in her and no doubt still is. In time she will pay for what she did.
No matter what, no one has a right to harm anyone. Firstly, it is against the Law of God. Secondly, against the Law of the Land. Harming someone does not justify their means. Those who do, do not love. They hate. This is wishing and wanting someone dead. I hope she is found to face justice; likewise the man who drove her.
People must learn to live by the Golden Rule. They must also learn to curb their bad temper and evil urges. These will get them into trouble and imprisonment.

According to the writer , tell the truth, a well-known man who allegedly drove the stabber away is guilty of aiding and abetting, and should face the brunt of the law. I wonder which law. Remember, the man who was burnt in front of a restaurant, a well- known person was alleged responsible for the crime, when was the last time we heard anything about the case.
Strange, I have been thinking of the man. I wonder what happened to him, how he is doing and about a Court case. What happened to him was a serious matter and to a poor, vulnerable person at that. It could make anyone cry, most of all Our God. One day such people will pay for their evil actions before God.

D/cans have a right to know and should follow it up. If the police authorities withhold information and do not deal fairly with perpetrators, know that (you should know) God will hold them accountable. They are to exercise their duties fairly.
I will encourage and endorse that Dominicans take steps to ensure that these authorities inform them after the completion of their investigations in addition to those cases.
I am further informing you, if it were in Canada of all, the perpetrator(s) would not get away with it. There would be no hush money but a Court case; charges, compensation and probably imprisonment.
I recently witnessed an evil act by a man; a black man to boot. I wasted no time and immediately reported it to the authorities. I was later informed that they caught him and he was arrested. I was recently told where he committed the act, he is prohibited from the place. The police continue to be on the look-out for him. If he is observed in that vicinity he will be arrested and no doubt detained. A charge will be laid against him and imprisonment may ensue.
This is another reason why I like residing here. We have Laws. People have rights. Once they report something to the police, they immediately act upon it. They do not caste it aside as nothing and sweep it under the rug. They take it seriously. If per chance they do not, the Media is there to report it. The Media here will take it up and broadcast it. They will be forced to act upon it. Generally, the complaints are taken seriously, investigated and acted upon.

Consider the woman was driven by a well-known man. No one commented about him. He could very well be also known to the police.
DNO stated he is well-known. One way or the other he is known.
Do you not think that he knows what occurred between two of them?
Did he drive her to the home and waited for her?
Was it coincidence he was available to give her a ride after the vicious act?
Did she tell him what she was planning to do and going to do? Did she inform him afterwards what she did?
While stabbing the woman, do you not think she was crying out in pain and was heard by people, even on the street?
Did she telephone him to pick her up?
While stabbing her, I would expect that blood splattered on her clothes.
She got in the car and he drove her off.
I hope she is caught.
In addition, once the police finds him, he will be interrogated. A well-known person cannot hide unless he leaves the country immediately.
I surmise he will have much to answer to the police. Someone drives another after the person committed a crime, almost a murder. The vicious action was with intent to murder. The driver may very well be aiding and abetting. It is a serious crime against the victim, the State and nationals.
When the woman is in a position to talk to the police, she will divulge the attempted murderer’s name. She may very well know that well-known man and even where they are both residing.
It is in the hands of the police to investigate and take action. We are waiting to read/hear more.
While in hospital all the victim’s visitors should be screened. You would not want the attempted murderer to come under the pretence of a concern visitor and finish the murder.
What would have caused that woman vs woman crime. Did she come to the home with the intent to stab the other one? That would be an even more serious crime. Did she walk with the weapon or she snapped and grab whatever it was in the victims home and committed the crime?
BY now Family and friends know who the victim is.. Do they also know if she has any enemies? I hope none of these woman have children.

You know I’m a woman, and reading the little dno has posted it ,looks like is women having issue for a man. Women it takes two to tango ,if you have problem in your relationship confront the man not the woman stop loving men more than all you selves. Now the man will be free to be with another woman while you in jail even if the woman die or survive. Which i pray god blessing upon her ,and she survive her injuries.

I agree with your post. Some women are just too foolish going after the other women. I must admit that there are some women who are bold and do not care that a man is a relationship and will still get involved with him, but many men lie and tell the prospective woman that they are not involved with anyone.
They stalk, call and threaten the other women and parading around with the lying, cheating, selfish and unfaithful bastard. Makes not sense.
Chaos in Dominica, no law, no constitution
This is a wicked individual who stabbed the woman.
We have all sorts of Laws in Canada, Toronto for that matter. Yet nearly every day there is a murder. Stabbings are frequent Strangers also stab strangers. These crimes have increased.
Over the weekend, as reported, a 17 year-old black was eating at a pizza restaurant with his friends early morning. Some people came in, shot him and left. They were obviously black; not yet caught. His stepmother said he was a good guy. We have not heard anything more.
It hurts more when youths are murdered. We lose generations upon generations when young lives are taken.
Legislation has not even taken place yet. If I don’t give him his cheddar, then he will look for cottage.
Another stabbing. Who could be the woman who did that to her? What type of woman is she to stab the woman? She knows by stabbing her, she could murder her and will have to face the brunt of the Law.

There are some seriously strange women around. Those who will do anything to control and spoil others lives.
Not only women. Anyone of us can commit murder anytime. Just that most of us are not placed in a situation where we do. If a robber were to enter your home, your first instinct is to protect self and property and you would pick up anything and itry to hurt the intruder or we hide under our bed while they rob us dry.
So don’ t jump to conclusion. What if it were self defence? At the moment we have no idea what really happened we are all just speculating and we could be wrong. Do we know why she went to the home? Do we know whether she was called to come to the house? What if she found the woman with all the stabs wounds? What if the woman stabbed herself and wanted the other one to be blamed for it? It is another way to look at the evidence.
Depending on the relationship wouldn’t you run too, if you were called to a house and see a woman stab herself or cover with stab wounds. Just showing another side. Like a true suspense movie.
