Well 78…..it’s possible that something like a stroke or heart attack could have precipated the crash, especially if she driving somewhere she was accustomed to, maybe the reason is that she fell ill.

She may have passed that route many times. It was dark at that time. She should not have been driving alone. This is why it is wise to drive slowly (slow down) especially when approaching a bend.
It is sad that she died in this manner.
    Sincere sympathy to her family.
May her soul rest in peace. Amen!

If you had read properly, you would have seen that the driver was 78 years. So she must have worked hard for her money during her working years.

Many people have stopped believing that Obeah exists. However, it does. Over the last two years there has been a rise in the practice of Obeah/Necromancy especially in the rural areas, resulting in unexplained vehicular accidents and deaths. There are too many Dominicans who thrive on jealousy, envy, dirty minds and dirty hearts. They poison your dogs, place animals to eat up your crop, spoil your small children with illnesses and unpredictable behaviours. Obeah is real and it is in the shadows, secretly snatching away the lives of the God-fearing and righteous. So many Dominicans are consumed with politics that they have forgotten about faith and prayer. Some would rather go to “de Haitian man or lady” to resolve issues than to the local priest or pastor. Many Labourites have witnessed and experienced the use of Obeah against them by neighbours and even friends whom are loyalist of the Uneducated Wicked People. Please Dominicans let us return to God and prayer. Amen.

Take a look at the glass/windshield. This is a clear indication that somebody inside this (once was a vehicle), was not wearing seatbelts. Again people, it’s not so much of “better roads” we need. We need jobs, jobs, and more jobs. When we have jobs where people work hard for de money; Then, people will drive more carefully to protect themselves and the vehicle they work so hard to purchase. Work gives you a sense of dignity and responsibility – Not better roads.

Nothing you are saying makes sense, it was not seat belt it was not road and I do not know what it was, the lady just drove from her home and went into the wall, and only God knows what happen, I was there.

Did you really associate driving carefully with jobs. Are you really that illiterate, or are you dumb.

I took a close look and it looks like there was hardly a point of impact from the upper body to the windshield except for the probability of the left hand. What I noticed was that due to the velocity of that vehicle impacting on the headwall, the front part of the vehicle forced the glass cracking! The vehicle may have passed through a narrow street with other vehicles tightly parked and not one was touched. She may have been struggling to maneuver the vehicle while some variable…..Whether the shoe got stuck, or some mechanical error occurred is of concern but whatever happened, may the soul of this 78 year old rest in peace. Note that she lived in England all her life where enforcing seatbelts was incumbent. Do you back up or drive down your local home street with your seatbelt on?
Politics has its place. Today we grieve a community member.

Oh please 4-cars, we have to stop being so deceitful with ourselves. Having a job does not prevent someone from having an accident. People have accidents everyday gong to and from work. Are we to believe no one with a job has ever been in a motor vehicle accident?

I wonder why then do so many of our friends and families with good paying jobs get into very serious accident all the time. We have to stop making light of people tragedy for our own selfish pleasure. I would like to see us sometimes sympathize and give comfort to families who are going through the worse time of the life instead of what we always do.

May her soul rest in peace. May her family find comfort in knowing she was there with them on earth even if it were for a short while and may they always remember her not the way she died but for how she lived and how much they loved her and she loved them.

And may no one else we know get into an accident but that would be naïve of us, would it?

This lady was 78 a pensioner, what job should she have been doing?
For your information this lady had worked right until she retired and had paid for her car from her labours.
This was a fatal accident and your comment is very misplaced!

HOW in the WORLD did you figure this out? Just because you see no seat belt does not mean that she was wearing non. Let the investigators do their jobs. Some of you are too duvant!

Each and everyday I am seeing seniors in their eighties driving by themselves, having another person with her might not prevent the accident, in Dominica you prople have to stop calling people old and this age/ ageism business, age is just a number
