There was a major accident in the Castle Comfort area involving the vehicle of medical surgeon, Dr. Hendricks Paul, on Thursday morning.
Reports indicate that the vehicle plunged into a precipice on the Castle Comfort/Giraudel road a short distance down hill from Dr. Paul’s residence at Castle Comfort.
Members of the fire and ambulance services, the police and volunteers were successful in rescuing Dr. Paul after the vehicle plunged almost 500 feet into the precipice.
He was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital and is undergoing medical treatment.
DNO can confirm that Dr. Paul’s daughter is also a patient at hospital as a result of the accident.
Circumstances surrounding the accident are unknown at this time.
I too wish him a speedy recovery.. he is the true son of the soil our very own. God please bless him and keep him!!

Dr Paul has served the people of Dominica well. He had many choices yet he chose to be a humble that is why the love he is showered by all is in appreciation of his work.
No longer is someone suffering from a stroke ask to lie in bed or are they suppose to give up on living. Today they are suppose to exercise and keep themselves active. He knew what was good for him though some people did not understand. He is still the Doc.
First time in life I see doctors and nurses on the scene of an accident in Dominica. I hope it continues and it was not done because is DR. PAUL. Still in my prayers.

I am happy the doctor and his daughter are alive because it could have been a very sad day in Dominica today. Just last night I heard so many patriots showering flowers on the good doctor and to hear this news less than 24 hrs ago was very sad. That’s why we must always stay prayed up and ready because we just don’t know when that evil day will be.
Thank god for saving his life and his daughter from this terrible accident may god continue to bless them and give them a speedy recovery. Praises to all those who assisted in this crucial accident. We love you Dr Paul for your humility and tremendous service in saving lives.

If I had a minor attack from a stroke,my Doctor would have told me have plenty of rest and do not drive. This is an incident no other was involved and no deaths.speedy recovery and take it easy

That’s my brother-in-law’s uncle, I saw him for an exam once and he seemed like a really nice, easy going fellow. I hope he has a quick full recovery.
