Four days after Shanice Jemmot was reported missing, she is yet to be found.
Shanice, who lives with her at Clark Hall, Layou, did not come home from school last Thursday and it appears she has disappeared without a trace.
This has prompted her uncle, James Henry, to offer a ten thousand dollars reward for any information leading to her safe return.
“We are not hearing anything and I am offering ten thousand dollars for her safe return,” Henry, who lives in St. Thomas, told Dominica News Online (DNO). “There seems to be no progress and it is really tough. We just don’t know what to do.”
He said he hopes some form of monetary reward will prompt someone to give information on his missing niece.
“Deliver her to us,” Henry pleaded. “I really want to know my niece is safe. I am willing to pay the money. Just contact us. Somebody, please contact us.”
Henry said he can be reached directly at 340-642-2685.
The police, the Welfare Division and other officials are continuing their search for the young lady.
It is reported that the Shanice’s mother has fallen ill because of the incident.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Shanice Jemmot they should contact the Welfare Division at 266-3080/266-3020 or the nearest police station.

well i came back today with a hope of knowing that she has return home, but is sadden by this news. I find this very strange that someone could disappear without a trace, and this one of the reason that we should keep on praying for her safe return.

After i read the articel i called my mom in DA and she dosent even know about this, and she listens to radio constantly. how are they spreading the word. How are the search teams conducted their search. I haven’t heard about groups organized in the area. HOw far have the searched? We have to scout DA for this child.

Admin: Did you read the article carefully? It stated “its APPEARS that she has disappeared without a trace.” “Appear” is the operative word there. How could this be accusing anyone of kidnapping her.
