So, so sad that somebody has to finish life like that, surrounded by people and yet so alone. My heart aches when I think about that. We are so busy with ourselves we hardly notice the pain and suffering of others around us.

I blame de Govt. Alot of fellas getting all 1’s cxc, and all A’s GCE and overtime they get mad in Dominica if mister was in America he would be working for NASA or Apple, maybe it is time skerrit find a way to help these intelligent men better utilize there talents to invent stuff to export to the world. De attorney across de street stated that Our favourite conversation was about “false consciousness” and the consequences of failure to conform to the values of the majority.
We spoke about adaptation and conformity to the standards and the values of others through indoctrination: for conformity is not only a survival strategy for us but also something institutionally indoctrinated in our culture. Dem fellas on another level.

To begin, let me mourn with those who mourn. I am sorry for your loss. I do not know this man but others have spoken about him. Young, intelligent….then I hear of challenges. Based on what I read. What went wrong? He is gone to wherever he belongs but we who are alive still have the chance by the grace and mercies of God! Death is not something that people like speaking about but it is inevitable.
So too is God. Whether we want it or not every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that he is Lord! Shall means MUST! To those who don’t believe in Him or reject him, I am asking you to please reconsider. Ask Him questions and wait on answers. Everything we need is in the Bible. Read and pray.
I am telling you this because His coming is very near. He said in his word “behold I come quickly” and just as the days of Noah so too will His coming be. We are distracted so that we fall but please I am begging take heed.
    Everything lies in your hands.
    Praise the name of Jesus

People, don’t you think an official report was sent to DNO by the police? How do you think the name was obtained. DNO did not christen the man, that is why his proper name was published. I don’t even have to argue this, it is just plain common sense.

My only problem with DNO is that, “why do you continue to post such foolish comments, they make look stupid.”

I knew Mr. Chance from his days at GSS as a teacher…baddest math teacher around. Good guy! He’s been through much.

This is very shocking news. Saw his photo during the Marpin 2k4 news. On my way from work , he was always siting quietly and smiling on the steps of this house . I thought he was awaiting bus to go to Bagatelle or Petite Savanne. This area was like a bus stop for the villages mentioned. R.I.P. my brother.

Not sure if that For Sale sign pertains to the house, but if it is, the owner might as well take it off the market.
If I had any interest in buying that house, I would demolish it and start anew. The stench of death has a way of lingering in a house for a long time.

DNO, as a news agency you should always be aware of the who, what, why, when and where. Promising further details (that is usually not available) is not acceptable. In a case like this the identity should be in your report. It may be a way for relatives to be aware.

Have you heard of Pending Family Notification? You should not report the name of a deceased until the family gives you the go ahead. Would you like to get word of the death of a loved one on the internet? Allow for all members of the family to receive process and digest the information.

        September 14, 2017

You are 100 % correct the name should be on the news after the police informed the family.

“In a case like this the identity should be in your report. It may be a way for relatives to be aware.”

In cases like these I have seen DNO get blows for reporting identities before an official report from the police is received.

Report it that way, DNO gets blows. Don’t report it that way, DNO still gets blows.

How can you people be pleased?

My advice to DNO is play it safe and wait for an official report

    • Man bites Dogs
      September 12, 2017

@:Emily, I think you are talking donkeys DNO could only release the identity to the public after the police inform the relatives.
