Gruesome and so poignant. The empty shoe without a leg right next to the remains of the bike. Pray the young lady did not suffer too much before she met her untimely death. Unfortunately the injured rider wii have to live with the memories all his life. So tragic.
I m sorry to hear that, sad news, but on another note, those who helped in one way or another like the Ambulance or medical team, you did not have to leave your dirty gloves around the area, (see around the bike) I am sure they trained you all better than that.
Wemen why you put your self in so much danger a bike is a dengerus transport and make it worst the passanger man so sad
Please learn to spell bro before you embarrass us all.
Well you have a monstrous job to keep folks from expressing their views SMFH!!!!
Heart-felt condolences to the relatives of the deceased. To minimize vehicular accidents, one should always observe the speed limits, obey all road safety signs and rules, drive cautiously and courteously and be vigilant at all times. It’s always sad when someone loses his/her life in such tragic circumstances.

At this rate Dominica probably has the highest rate of accidents in the Caribbean per inhabitant, with our tiny population now of 50,000.
To: Dominican Passport.
Hello and good afternoon my people. I have to question your knowledge about our country when you don’t even know the population which as listed by our Government and the United Nation at 70,000. We do have a high rate of accidents with fatalities but per capita it’s in the middle as compared to islands with similar population .
It is my understanding that the curfew in Dominica is still in effect. Why are there vehicular accidents occurring during curfew hours? Is it because the roads are deserted, so drivers think they can drive faster? I was in Dominica in 2011, but I did not drive, so I do not know the speed limits on the various roads in Dominica. In the USA, we go up to 70 mph. People in Dominica do not drive 70 mph, at least I do not think. So why are there vehicle accidents? The road is to be used by pedestrians, and the various shapes and sizes of vehicles. All road users need to pay more attention to presence of other road users, and to obey the traffic laws. It is depressing that year round people are losing their lives in vehicle accidents, even during curfew hours.
Motorbikes, time and time again. Bet they were not wearing any protective gear either! It is time for our police to redeem themselves and start a campaign of random checks for motor riders to ensure they comply with all the rules and regulations. It is for their own good as well as the public, not to mention restoring our faith in the police.
Again! what is going on in Dominica?! Dominicans wake up! Learn from that. Stop. Saying it cannot happen to u. Be careful on d road!! For God sake!!!
