A young man has died due to injuries sustained in an accident early Monday afternoon.
The police have confirmed that the young man died at the Princess Margaret hospital.
The accident occurred on the Roger main road reportedly involving a bike and a truck.
The man, identified as Denzel Doctrove, was rushed to the ICU where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to the police Doctrove was struck by the tire of a dump truck while riding his bicycle.
The police said Doctrove was holding the left side of the truck while riding the bicycle and fell. He was struck by the truck’s tyre and sustained injuries to the left side of his body and head.
Im so shocked ! only now im hearing that. he was my little padner as well as his two other brothers. ive been around them for abt ten years. I just cant believe that. I met people that knows me to know him they never brought that to my attention. Oh my God help us. Brain and Margret accept my sympathy. see ull soon.

Last yeat at this time, my familly and I were going through this same pain due to the tragic loss of a young family member. I thought that we would have never made it through this time of grief and sorrow, but the hand of God through constant prayer helped us all and gave us spiritual consolation, and comfort. I know God will help, so my advice to the familly is to pray without ceasing. It still hurts, the pain will never go away, you will still shed tears,(crying as I write) but you learn to live with it.

Residing overseas, tonight two people telephoned me and informed me about him. I did not know him but I know his father Brian, grandparents, Masterwell (Dem Dem) and Inga Doctrove and their other children.
This has immensely saddened me. How their hearts are aching in the sad, sudden loss of their loved one and one so young.
I was also told tonight that one of his cousins, Michael Fingal, son of Algernon and Rhona Fingal also died from an accidental death in Detroit, U.S.A. on Monday, yesterday. This is also shocking. My heart also aches for this family whom I have also known since childhood. These are good children from good families.
Two cousins in one day! Life has a way of dealing a hard blow. Tomorrow evening I will be telephoning both families in DA and in Detroit to offer my personal condolence. They are very dear to my heart. I hold a soft spot in my heart for them since I have personally known them since childhood.
My heartfelt sympathy to all of you, parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins of all. I visualize the extent of your grief.

Again, just driving home from work today, i had to maneuver through many idle little boys riding their bikes. They try to ride on one wheel in the middle of rush hour. The seem to do not mind that a vehicle may hit them. They do what they want, when they want and how they want. Instead of waiting to send out condolences let us warn them, let us talk to them, let us let them know that they may get hit by a vehicle.. but wait they may already know that. so what then? Laws, stick with a bicycle path, or in their backyards, or pay a large fine. Anything else that will save their lives, because they act senseless and never listen.
