LIAT wishes to advise that due to the impending passage of a low pressure system, some flights could be disrupted starting late Friday August 1.
Passengers travelling in and out of Dominica, Antigua, Anguilla, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Tortola and St. Thomas are advised that there may be disruptions at those airports depending on the progress of the weather system.
Passengers travelling this weekend are asked to check the LIAT website (www.liat.com), the LIAT Facebook Page, their local LIAT office, or to call the LIAT Call Centre from Antigua – 1-268-480-5582; toll free from the rest of the Caribbean – 1-888-844-5428 and from Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands – 1-866-549-5428 for information on the status of their flights.
Customers are advised to continue monitoring radio stations for further updates.
Yes, LIAT has a high safety record and I too commend them for that. Such advisory is an attempt to maintain that safety record. Come on, let’s leave the negative energy for some other time Dominicans and focus on what they are trying to do. I travelled with LIAT just last weekend and I experienced their inefficiencies too (pleeeeease work on these LIAT) as always but let’s be kind and put things in perspective.
I hope those who are to travel this weekend does take heed.
Good Job LIAT!
Great work liat
LIAT is now blaming their inefficiency, bad management, lost luggage and customer care on the weather.
If that is ur interpretation of what u read then I see why dominica cannot move forward with ppl like u. U can’t afford a trip so u don’t have to worry about losing luggages
you are such an idiot!!! Does LIAT have control over storms?
LIAT doh have allu self! Even on a bright sunny calm clear ordorless day allu need to give a damn travel advisory!!!!!
They need to do it before your carcass end up in the ocean or hanging from a tree. GOOD JOB LIAT!
Liat i love you baby for your high safety record. No matter what others have to say.
