You do not have to apologize. Under the circumstances, everyone will understand.
If the good Lord wills, next year and as I also say, if all goes well, you will organize the Penville Fete. At that time the young men will also be remembered. Their memories will live on.
My heartfelt sympathy to those of the three villages, especially their families who mourn their loss. I can imagine how all of you feel.
Even though some of us do not know them, it is also difficult for us who heard/read of this tragic accident which took five young lives. It is not something which Dominicans, wherever they reside will get over nor easily.
We are with you in sorrow and prayer for the family and others who knew them.
    God bless and comfort you.
